Penerapan Snort Sebagai Sistem Keamanan Jaringan
Full text linkSMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu is one of the State Senior High Schools in South Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province. The school already has internet access and a computer network in the Lab that can be accessed by teachers, students, and staff within the school. However, access to the network does not yet have a security system that can prevent several threats from attacking the network. The purpose of this research is to implement snort on computer networks at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu. Securing the computer network at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu to avoid unwanted things by implementing Snort in it which will detect if there is a threat of attacks. Snort will be tasked with detecting attacks that occur if a client attacks the server in the form of pinging of death or DDos attacks. Based on the test results that have been carried out, the application of snort can help schools in knowing security system information on computer networks at school, as well as securing computer networks at school
Penerapan Metode Regresi Linear Dalam Prediksi Hasil Penangkapan Ikan Pada Dinas Kelautan Dan Perikanan Provinsi Bengkulu
Full text linkAbstract— The Department of Marine and Fisheries of Bengkulu Province is one of the government agencies in Bengkulu Province. At the Department, every year data collection is carried out per semester of capture fisheries production that occurs in each regency / city in Bengkulu Province. The purpose of the research is to determine the predicted value of capture fisheries production in the coming year. The implementation of the linear regression method in predicting fishing yields at The Department of Marine and Fisheries of Bengkulu Province can help provide an estimated prediction of the amount of capture fisheries production in the following year based on the results of processing previous time series data through the Linear Regression Method. In addition, it can be used as an evaluation material for the Department of Marine and Fisheries of Bengkulu Province in making strategic plans (renstra), especially capture fisheries production. Based on the test data used, the results show that the prediction of the amount of fishing (marine fisheries) in the Regency / City of Bengkulu Province in 2024 is South Bengkulu Regency, 2726.3 Central Bengkulu Regency, 1663.62 North Bengkulu Regency, 7709.04 Kaur Regency, 8140.2 Bengkulu City, 44457.32 Muko-muko Regency, 19691.99 and Seluma Regency, 2633.8. It can be seen that the highest number of fishing products is Bengkulu City and the least is Central Bengkulu Regency from the results of prediction analysis using the linear regression method.

Evaluasi Kualitas Pengalaman Pengguna Aplikasi Duolingo Menggunakan Metode System Usability Scale (SUS) dan End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS)
Full text linkBackground. Education has undergone a significant transformation due to digital technology, which has increased its flexibility, accessibility, and engagement. With gamifikasi strategies that increase user engagement, the Duolingo app is a highly preferred language learning resource, especially for learning English. Purpose. The System Usability Scale (SUS) and End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) methods will be used in this study to evaluate the usability and user satisfaction of the Duolingo program. Method. 404 respondents were obtained for this study using a quantitative approach using the Slovin formula sampling technique. Ten SUS items and five components of EUCS, content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness were included in the online survey used to collect the data. Descriptive statistics were used in the analysis to assess SUS and EUCS scores. Result. The app has a good usability level, with an average SUS score of 78.86 (grade B+). The five components, content (4.4), accuracy (4.2), format (4.5), ease of use (4.5), and timeliness (4.4), produced excellent results for EUCS. Most respondents were between the ages of 18 and 24, and they spent an average of less than 30 minutes a day. Conclusion. Particularly when it comes to usability and interface design, Duolingo offers a positive user experience and high satisfaction. Its gamifikasi strategy increases the effectiveness and engagement of English learning, especially for younger users
Analisis Pemanfaatan E-Learning dalam Proses Pengajaran: Studi Kasus Dosen CPNS Politeknik Negeri Bali
Full text linkNew lecturers at the Bali State Polytechnic can utilize a learning management system (LMS) to improve online teaching. This system supports various academic functions, such as providing access to resources, sending assignments, and creating interactive learning experiences. However, E-learning has the potential for over-reliance on technology, which can reduce traditional teaching methods and personal interaction in the classroom. This research aims to analyze the use of e-learning in the teaching process for CPNS 2024 lecturers at the Bali State Polytechnic. The research used a questionnaire with a Likert scale with a sample of 30 CPNS 2024 lecturers who had no experience as lecturers. The results of the questionnaire responses were tested for validity and reliability to ensure that the data processed was valid data. The validity test results show that all the questions tested are valid and the reliability results show a Cronbach alpha value of 0.736 and is included in the high category. Meanwhile, the results of processing the USE questionnaire by calculating the average percentage score for each factor include: usability 96%, convenience 89.5% and satisfaction 94%. A questionnaire designed to measure the usefulness of e-learning for new lecturers has proven to be valid and reliable. The results of the questionnaire show that e-learning really helps CPNS 2024 lecturers in delivering material and managing lecture assignments effectively

One method that can be used to support decision making is the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method, which combines value-based assessment with criteria weighting. This study aims to implement the WASPAS method in a decision support system (DSS) in selecting the best village in Seginim District based on several predetermined criteria, such as level of development, infrastructure quality, health, education, and community economy. In its implementation, each village is evaluated by giving weight to each criterion according to the priorities that have been set, then the assessment results are combined to obtain a final value that indicates the village with the best performance. The results of clustering on employee performance appraisal data, obtained 2 groups or clusters, namely high clusters (Cluster I) and low clusters (Cluster II). Clustering employee data based on performance appraisals using the k-medoid method at the Regional Government Office of Central Bengkulu Regency is made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language. This is certainly less effective and takes a long time in measuring the level of community satisfaction due to the absence of a definite indicator in assessing satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong District Head Office. The application of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method in measuring the level of community satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office can assist administrators in managing data on the assessment of community satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office, can provide information on the level of community satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office, and can facilitate the community, especially those in the Central Lebong Sub-District area, in providing an assessment of satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office. The application of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method in measuring the level of community satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office was built web-based using the PHP programming language and MySQL database which can be accessed via the url link https://surveikecamatanlebongtengah.online/. Full text linkStandardizing topographic names is an important step in supporting sustainable development. This research examines in depth the role of the Surabaya City Government in carrying out the recording of topographic names at the regional level. Standardizing topographic names in Indonesia is a strategic effort to improve spatial data management, preserve cultural heritage, protect regional sovereignty and security, as well as create orderly government administration. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, this research analyzes the role of the Surabaya City government, especially the Regional Administration Working Team in implementing the policy on standardizing Topographic Names in the City of Surabaya by highlighting various obstacles and opportunities that stand in the way during the implementation process, namely collecting, reviewing, and standardization of topographic names. The findings of this research highlight the importance of government readiness, coordination between institutions, availability of adequate resources, and participation in ensuring the implementation of this program. In addition, this research also identifies the need for more effective coordination between central and regional governments, as well as active contribution from the community in efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable standardization of topographic names

Komunikasi Politik Di Era Digital: Pengaruh Media Sosial Terhadap Opini Publik
Full text linkGarut Regency is a region in West Java that holds simultaneous Regional Head Elections. The number of social media users who are the millennial generation is 402,000. Through political communication carried out by the Regional Head candidate pair, Abdusy Syakur Amin and Putri Karlina, they managed to win the Regional Election with 915,780 voters (65% of the vote), where even though they won by a landslide, this pair's victory was not able to increase the votes of parties who use social media, such as millennials, where the votes of millennials were only achieved by 53% of voters from around 915,780 which is a total of 2,005,168 voters in the DPT. This situation is caused by the political communication carried out in the media by the Regional Head candidate in Garut Regency which is still not effective because there is still a negative campaign attacking the couple Abdusy Syakur Amin and Putri Karlina on social media by the successful team of Helmi Budiman and Yudi Nugraha on social media, so that they do not provide a good example to voters on social media, and often create black campaigns which tend not to make voters' sympathy on social media shift to the couple Abdusy Syakur Amin and Putri Karlina. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the extent to which social media used for political communication or campaigns can influence positive public opinion towards candidates for Regional Head in Garut Regency. The research method uses quantitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and literature studies, while data analysis uses data quality tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression tests, t tests and coefficient of determination tests. From the results of existing research, it can be concluded that the use of social media in political communication has a positive effect on public opinion
