SKUBI MEDICINOS PAGALBA: TARPHOSPITALINIAI PERVEŽIMAI
In this article an emergency medical assistance and the inter hospital transfer problems are analysed in context of the restructurization of health care institutions and services, also of regionalization and centralization policy in Lithuania. Though the increased accessibility of health care services and improvement of the quality, also reduction of social exclusion and unevenness of provision of health care services are declared as the main objectives (purpose) of restructurization, however increased number of inter hospital transfers and crowding of the Emergency Departments indicate the possible negative tendencies. One of the substantial (fundamental) requirement of the inter hospital transfers is the continuous emergency care during transportation. The article provides a unified concept of second transportation between hospitals. The survey results contain the points of specialists and executives of emergency medical assistance on the current management situation of inter hospital patient flow and the ways how the management of patient flow can be improved. The study was made using questionnaire survey, the questions were divided into separate groups by the objectives of this study. Reasoned conclusions and the scheme of the emergency medical care patients flow are developed with reference to the results of this study.KEY WORDS: an emergency medical assistance, flow of the patients, management, restructurization of health care services, inter hospital transfer (transportation), regionalization.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15181/tbb.v73i1.126

MATO PRETORIJAUS MITINĖS MEDŽIAGOS APIE PERDOYTUS, WEJOPATTIS, GARDOUTEN, BANGPJTJS, LUOBGELDA AUTENTIŠKUMAS XVI–XVII A. RAŠYTINIŲ ŠALTINIŲ KONTEKSTE
In the context of XVI–XVII centuries written sources, this article provides an overview and evaluation of authenticity of to the Balts pantheon and the water sphere attributable deities Perdoytus, Wejopattis, Gardouten, Bangpjtjs, Luobgelda (partly Bardoayts) that were described in Matas Pretorijus (Matthäus Prätorius) work “Sights of Prussia, Or Prussia’s Observation Place” (Deliciae Prussicae, oder Preussische Schaubϋhne) (the end of the 17th century). The focus of this article is on the analysis of authenticity Perdoytus (Gardouten ↔ Bardoayts) and opposition between Wejopattis ↔ Bangpjtjs mythologemes. In order to assess the validity of data the author uses in-depth comparative research whose core is in the comparison of the original and secondary material, allowing to determine who, when and what kind of mythical material changes were made. The study revealed that the mythical information provided by M. Pretorijus and other ancient written sources from XVI–XVII centuries are overshadowed by redundant and unauthentic information or interpretations of chroniclers. The author attempts to define this multi-level mental and physical phenomena by introducing a new term information noise in the verification process of ancient written sources.KEYWORDS: Matas Pretorijus, authenticity, Baltic religion and mythology, information noise.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15181/rh.v18i0.123
RYTŲ PRŪSIJOS MIESTO HIBRIDIŠKUMAS PO ANTROJO PASAULINIO KARO (PAGAL ULLOS LACHAUER KNYGĄ „TILŽĖS TILTAS“ (DIE BRÜCKE VON TILSIT))
The article examines the consequences of the colllision of two different cultures and eras. It draws on the history of Tilsit as described by the German journalist and historian Ulla Lachauer in her narrative “The Bridge of Tilsit” (“Die Brücke von Tilsit”). Published in 1995, Lachauer’s work offers historical facts and personal impressions of a journey to Sovetsk (1990) in search of the traces of the old Tilsit, which, unexpectedly, led to the author’s discovery of a city marked by an astonishing and, at times, frightening hybridity. The article analyses elements of “The Bridge of Tilsit” that constitute a narrative about the intermingling of cultures and highlight the hybridity of a city previously situated in East Prussia and, today, in the Soviet enclave of Kaliningrad.KEY WORDS: literary topography, interaction between time and space, hybridity, spaces of memory.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15181/rh.v19i0.132
