Parameter Entomologi pada Daerah Endemis Demam Berdarah Dengue Tinggi dan Rendah di Jawa Tengah (Studi di Kabupaten Kudus dan Wonosobo)
ABSTRACT Kudus district is a district with high DHF cases in Central Java in 2013 (IR=57.50). Wonosobo District is new area with low DHF cases (IR=11.92). Aedes aegypti is the main vector of DHF in both. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference of entomological parameter in high and low DHF endemic area. This research was continued analysis of entomologycal data from study of The Resistance Map of Aedes aegypti (Linn) Agains Cypermethrin 0,05%, Malathion 0,8% and Temephos inn Purworejo, Kebumen, Pekalongan, Demak, Wonosobo, Cilacap, Kudus, Klaten, Banjarnegara at 2014, that use cross sectional design. The results showed that HI, CI, BI and PI in Kudus (40,67%,21,40%, 233,67 and 113,67%), higher than in Wonosobo (14,33%, 10,93%, 15,33 dan 38,33%). In all location bathing tub were the potential breeding places of Ae. aegypti. In Kudus, Breeding Preference Ratio (BPR) in barrel and water tank for “wudhu” had the highest as much as 4.03. In Wonosobo the highest BPR was in jar as much as 9.15. Multivariat analysis showed that in Kudus container covers were most closely correlated to the presence of Ae aegypti larvae, while in Wonosobo illumination around containers is the main factor.Tahun 2013, Kabupaten Kudus salah satu daerah DBD tinggi di Jawa Tengah (IR = 57,50), sedangkan Kabupaten Wonosobo daerah endemis DBD rendah (IR = 11,92). Vektor utama di kedua daerah adalah Aedes aegypti. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan parameter entomologi di Kudus dan Wonosobo. Penelitian ini merupakan analisis lanjut penelitian Peta Status Kerentanan Aedes aegypti (Linn), terhadap Insektisida Cypermethrin 0,05%, Malathion 0,8% dan Temephos di Kabupaten Purworejo, Kebumen, Pekalongan, Demak, Wonosobo, Cilacap, Kudus, Klaten, Banjarnegara Tahun 2014 yang dilakukan dengan desain cross sectional. Hasil menunjukkan indikator entomologi di Kudus (House Index = 40,67%, Container Index = 21,40%, Breteau Index = 233,67 dan Pupa Index = 113,67%) lebih tinggi daripada di Wonosobo (HI=14,33%, CI=10,93%, BI=15,33 dan PI=38,33%). Bak mandi merupakan kontainer yang paling banyak ditemukan positif jentik Ae. Aegypti. Breeding Preference Ratio (BPR) pada tong dan “padasan” di Kudus tertinggi masing-masing sebesar 4,03, sedangkan di Wonosobo tertinggi adalah di toples (9,15). Analisis multivariat di Kudus menunjukkan penutup kontainer berperan paling besar untuk ditemukannya jentik Ae aegypti,sedangkan di Wonosobo pencahayaan di sekitar kontainer adalah faktor paling utama
Perbandingan Indeks Larva Vektor Demam Berdarah Dengue Pra dan Paska-Intervensi di Kota Prabumulih
ABSTRACTPrabumulih city is one of dengue endemic area in South Sumatera Province with number of cases in 2011-2012 were 225 and 301 cases respectively. The research aims to determine the influence of jumantik accompanied by health promotion program to the larval mosquitoes indices. This is quasi-experimental study, carried out in three endemic areas of Prabumulih City in 2014. There were two intervention in two location and one location for non-intervention. In the first location, the intervention were larva surveillance by jumantik cadre, giving larvicide selectively, accompanied by health promotion program to community group (intervention I), in second location the intervention only for larvae surveillance by jumantik cadre (intervention II), and the third location giving no intervention. Observation of immature mosquito was carried out in every location before and after intervention was given. The result showed an increase in Free larvae index of 19,8% in the intervention I , 12,5% in the intervention II and 5,3% in the no-intervention location. Indicator of breteau index showed a decrease in all location, 73,1% in the intervention I, 62,8% in the intervention II and 10,8% in the no-intervention location. Container index indicator showed a decrease in two intervention location, 10,2% in the intervention I, 6,6% in the intervention II, while in no-intervention location show an increase for 8%. Health promotion program about how to prevent dengue transmission through potential community groups could become an alternative effort to control vector population integrated with other control methods. Kota Prabumulih merupakan salah satu wilayah endemis DBD di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan jumlah penderita pada tahun 2011-2012 berturut-turut sebanyak 225 dan 301 kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks larva vektor DBD sebelum dan sesudah pemberian intervensi di Kota Prabumulih. Intervensi yang diberikan adalah intervensi kader jumantik dengan larvasidasi selektif serta promosi kesehatan melalui kelompok masyarakat (intervensi I), intervensi kader jumantik (intervensi II), dan satu wilayah tanpa intervensi. Sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada tiap lokasi dilakukan pengamatan vektor DBD pradewasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indeks larva (house index/HI, breteau index/BI, container index/CI) di wilayah intervensi I sebelum dilakukan intervensi masing-masing sebesar 51,7%, 126,5 dan 23,8%, sedangkan setelah intervensi sebesar 31,9%, 53,4 dan 13,6%. Di wilayah intervensi II, sebelum intervensi memiliki nilai HI 53,8%, BI 109,2 dan CI 20,3% dan sesudah intervensi dengan nilai HI 41,3%, BI 46,4 dan CI 13,7%. Di wilayah non intervensi, hasil pemeriksaan awal diperoleh nilai HI 37,3%, BI 61,7 dan CI 15,9%, sedangkan di akhir penelitian diperoleh nilai HI 32,0%, BI 50,9 dan CI 23,9%. Pengendalian vektor DBD melalui promosi kesehatan pada kelompok masyarakat yang disertai larvasidasi selektif memberikan kontribusi penurunan kepadatan jentik lebih besar dibandingkan wilayah lainnya
Faktor Biotik dan Abiotik pada Tempat Perkembangbiakan Anopheles spp. di Desa Gunung Jati, Kecamatan Pagedongan, Banjarnegara, Provinsi Jawa Tengah
ABSTRAK Potensi penularan malaria di Desa Gunung Jati, Banjarnegara perlu diwaspadai mengingat daerah tersebut merupakan daerah endemis malaria. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kondisi lingkungan biotik dan abiotik pada tempat perkembangbiakan Anopheles spp. yang ditemukan di Desa Gunung jati, Banjarnegara. Kegiatannya meliputi penangkapan larva, pengukuran faktor abiotik dan pengamatan biota mikro pada sampel air pada bulan Mei 2015. Larva Anopheles spp. ditemukan pada genangan air di pinggiran sungai dengan kepadatan larva rata-rata 5 ekor larva per cidukan. Kondisi suhu air di semua tempat perkembangbiakan yang ditemukan berkisar antara 26-32 °C, derajat keasaman netral, dengan intensitas pencahayaan bervariasi. Mikro alga Synedra paling sering ditemukan dari semua tempat perkembangbiakan yang diamati. Kondisi lingkungan tersebut sesuai dengan kondisi optimum yang mendukung perkembangan larva Anopheles spp. Kata kunci: biotik, abiotik, tempat perkembangbiakan, Anopheles spp. ABSTRACT Malaria transmission in Gunung Jati Village, Banjarmegara needs serious attention because this village is malaria endemic area. This study aimed to investigate the biotic and abiotic environmental conditions at Anopheles spp. breeding sites in Gunung Jati village, Banjarnegara. Anopheles spp. larvae collection, measurement of abiotic factors and observation of microbiota on water samples were conducted on May 2015. Anopheles spp. larva was found in puddles on the banks of the river with larvae density was 5 larvae per dip. Water temperature conditions in all breeding sites ranged from 26-32 oC, the degree of acidity was neutral, with varying light intensity. Synedra are the most commonly found algae from all observed breeding sites. INDEK MASSA TUBUH (IMT) PADA WANITA USIA SUBUR HIPERTIROID DI DAERAH MAGELANG
The problems of nutrition are both of less and over diet. There are causedunbalance of eating pattern. Women of child bearing age with hyperthyroidismwill decreased their body weight even though their appetite still good. The dataof Healthy Ministry at 2007 shown that 30 million of 118 million women of childbearing age are suffer less chronic energy. The result of Riskesdas at 2007shown that prevalence of obesity on women are 23,8%. To know the relationshipbetween hyperthyroid with BMI and to know the ratio of prevalence of Body MassIndex with hyperthyroid and normothyroid. The research used cross sectionaldesign with quantitative analyzed. The sample of research consist two groupof sample. The first group, women of childbearing age with hyperthyroid; andsecond group, women of childbearing age with normothyroid. Each group consistof 50 women of childbearing age. Range of age is 15 – 49 years old. The locationof research is at Magelang Central Java. BMI value of women of child bearingage average 23 with standard deviation 4,07. The lowest and the highest valueof BMI are 16 and 44. Age mean of Women of child bearing age is 34 years oldwith Standard Deviation 5,98. Hyperthyroid relation with BMI (p=0,05; RP=0,30;95% CI: 0,09<RP<1,04). Age relationship with BMI (p>0,05; RP = 0,93; 95% CI:0,18<RP<4,67). There is no relationship significantly between hyperthyroid withBMI value. Women of child bearing age with hyperthyroid may suffer abnormalBMI value 0,30 times higher than women of child bearing age with normothyroid.Women of child bearing age with less than 40 years old may suffer abnormal BMIvalue 0,93 times higher than women of child bearing age with more than 40 yearsold
HUBUNGAN ANTARA STATUS IODIUM DENGAN STATUS GIZI PADA ANAK RIWAYAT HIPOTIROID
Iodine Deficiency disorder (IDD) is a still serious as nutrient problem in Indonesia.The purpose of the research is to know the relationship between ThyroidStimulating Hormone (TSHs) with nutritional status of children aged 3 - 7 yearswhich ever therapies in BP2 GAKI Magelang. The samples were 44 children takefrom Magelang regency Central Java on July to December 2008. The design ofthe research was “cross-sectional” study. The data collected were concentrationof TSHs, nutritional status weight/high (W/H), weight/age (W/A), high/age (H/A)).The concentration of serum TSH was divided three group (<0.3 hyperthyroid,0.3-5 normal, >5 hypothyroid). The data of W/H were divide into three group(Z-score<-3SD severe wasted, -0.3 - -0.2 SD wasted, >-0.2 normal. The dataof W/A were divided into three group (Z-score<-3SD severe underweight, -0.3 --0.2 SD moderate underweight, >-0.2 normal. The data of H/A were divided intothree group (Z-score<-3SD severe stunted, -0.3 - -0.2 SD stunted, >-0.2 normal.Serum’s TSH of children was taken two milliliter and analysis of its in BPPGAKI Magelang’s laboratory by Elisa reader method. These data were analyzedby using Spearman’s rho test. The result show the hypothyroid serum of TSHwas 43.2 %. The wasted data of W/H was 20.5%, the underweight data of W/Awas 45.5%, and stunted data of H/A was 66%. The relationship between TSHsand H/A is significant at 0,019 (Using Spearman’s rho). The relationship betweenTSHs and W/H, between TSHs and W/A is not significant. It was 0.170 and was0.918. This means that the stunted of children relationship with hypothyroid
Pola Spasial Kasus Malaria Di Desa Santu’un Kecamatan Muara Uya Kabuaten Tabalong Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan
Village of Santu'un is one of the malaria endemic areas in sub district of Muara Uya. Annual Parasite Insidence (API) from 2007 to 2009 are 11.4%, 82.9%, and 25.8% respectively. The study was an observational analytic study with a case control study design. Total sample was 291 people. Data analysis with statistical analysis Chi square and spatial analysis with SaTscan.The results shows during the ysoy 2010, there are two clusters of malaria cases. The first clusters was located at coordinate 1.863500 S and 115.606700 E with a radius of 0.65 km. The total population in RT 3 and RT 4 was 42 people (p-value: 0.001). The second clusters was located in 1.838667 S and 115.607200 E (radius 0,67 km), with total population in RT 5 was 26 people (p=0.001). These results indicate that the clusters of Indonesia cases was statisfically significant with the RR : 3.18
Pengetahuan Masyarakat tentang Schistosomiasis di Desa Winowanga, Dataran Tinggi Napu Sulawesi Tengah
Schistosomiasis in Indonesia are only found in three endemic areas, Napu Highlans, Lindu and Bada in Central Sulawesi. Schistosomiasis is still a health problem in the Napu Highlands with a prevalence 4,78% in 2010. Winowanga village is one of the villages in the Napu Highlands with the highest prevalence in 2010 (11,46%). This study aims to determine the level of public knowledge about schistosomiasis in the Winowanga village, with case-control study design. Determination of ceses and controls based on mass stool examination in June of 2010. Case, if found worms and schistosomiasis control, if not found worms in stool examination schistosomiasis mass in June 2010. This study successfully interviewed 242 people, consisting of 97 cases and 145 controls randomly selected. The results showed that the knowledge society is still relatively low. There was no relationship between knowledge with schistosomiasis (p value > 0.05). Extension of intensive and continuous with the right media, especially in high-risk groups such as school children are very necessary in order to increase knowledge and awareness in order to behave well
