Developing Nias Culture-Based English Textbook to Enrich 21st Century Skills for Vocational High School Students
This study focuses on the development of a Nias culture-based English textbook designed to enrich 21st century skills in vocational high school students. The problem underlying this study is the low relevance of the teaching materials used to the local cultural context making it difficult for them to understand the material in depth. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the textbook was designed, developed, implemented, and evaluated in terms of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness. The effectiveness of the product is tested using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group posttest-only design. The research sample was determined using cluster sampling to represent students in different class groups. Research subjects included an experimental class, control class and an additional school as the dissemination class. Data is collected through expert validation, implementation, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The validation results showed high feasibility scores from four experts (100% culture and material, 95.55% language, 85.71% design). The developed book was also found to be practical and effective in enhancing students’ 21st-century skills, particularly in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. The posttest results revealed clear improvements in students’ learning outcomes compared to the control class. Moreover, both teachers and students responded positively, emphasizing the textbook’s relevance to local culture and its usefulness in the learning process. Therefore, the Nias culture-based English textbook can be concluded as a feasible, practical, and effective learning resource that integrates local wisdom, strengthens students’ cultural identity, and fosters essential 21st-century competencies
AUDIT ENERGI LISTRIK SWALAYAN X SEBAGAI UPAYA MENUJU STANDAR ISO 50001
Jumlah bangunan komersial khususnya swalayan di Indonesia sudah sangat banyak. Penggunaan energi yang tidak efisien secara terus menerus pada swalayan, selain menyebabkan tagihan yang tinggi, juga akan mengakibatkan krisis energi dimasa mendatang. Sebagai upaya menuju standar ISO 50001, maka dilakukan audit energi pada gedung swalayan dengan prosedur pelaksanaannya sesuai SNI. Mengembangkan sistem manajemen energi dengan mencapai pola kinerja energi yang efisien sesuai dengan standar ISO 50001:2018 yang dilakukan pada gedung swalayan X Magelang. Menetapkan sistem dan proses yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja energi secara berkelanjutan, termasuk efisiensi energi, pemanfaatan energi, dan konsumsi energi. Swalayan X Magelang berlangganan energi listrik PLN dengan kapasitas daya terpasang 23.000 VA dengan Total pemakaian energi listrik pada gedung swalayan X Magelang adalah 16.954 kWh dalam satu bulan. Nilai intensitas konsumsi energi gedung swalayan 178,188, untuk bangunan swalayan tergolong sangat efisien
Analisis Komparatif Sektor Unggulan di Priangan Timur
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, dan membandingkan sektor-sektor unggulan di wilayah Priangan Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) berupa Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Provinsi Jawa Barat dan PDRB enam Kabupaten/Kota di wilayah Priangan Timur (Kabupaten Garut, Kabupaten Ciamis, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Kabupaten Pangandaran, Kota Tasikmalaya, dan Kota Banjar) seri 2010 ADHK Menurut Lapangan Usaha tahun 2010 s.d 2023. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Location Quotient (LQ) dan Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) yang diolah dengan Microsoft Excel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis LQ, diperoleh bahwa sektor unggulan yang mendominasi di wilayah Priangan Timur meliputi sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan (Kabupaten Garut, Kabupaten Ciamis, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Kabupaten Pangandaran); sektor pengadaan air (Kota Tasikmalaya); serta sektor pertambangan dan penggalian (Kota Banjar). Sedangkan hasil analisis DLQ menunjukkan bahwa semua sektor berpotensi untuk menjadi sektor basis di masa depan. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa peningkatan pengeluaran pemerintah daerah pada sektor-sektor unggulan dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di Priangan Timur
Learning Experience on Digestive System: Does it Underlie Students\u27 Eating Habits?
This study aimed to explore how biology education, particularly the topic of the digestive system, can serve as a basis for students to regulate their eating habits. The approach used in this research is a mixed-method approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative methods. The participants in this study comprised 69 twelfth-grade high school students. Data were collected using a questionnaire that included tests on digestive system content and eating habits, along with an open-ended section that required students to explain the eating patterns they adopted in their lives after studying the digestive system. The data collected were analyzed using Concurrent Triangulation. Students\u27 understanding of the digestive system content remains relatively low, with an overall score percentage of 37.54%. Nevertheless, learning about the digestive system has positively impacted on the eating habits of most students, who have begun adopting healthier eating patterns. On the other hand, a small minority of students still neglect and have low awareness of maintaining healthy eating habits, indicating that further efforts are needed to enhance awareness and healthy habits among students. Support from parents, teachers, and the surrounding environment is crucial to ensure a balanced and nutritious diet for adolescents

The Empowering Limbangan Batik Makers Through Diversification of Biological Batik Products and Motifs Using Natural Dyes
Batik bertema biologi menggunakan motif dan corak yang representatif dalam bidang biologi. Pemanfaatan pewarna alam untuk pewarnaan kain batik dapat memanfaatkan bagian-bagian tumbuhan, total ada 8 pewarna alam yang digunakan, antara lain biji jalawe, kayu tingi, indigofera, kayu secang, kayu jambal, kayu tegeran, kayu mahoni, dan biji kesumba. Seni batik di Kabupaten Kendal mempunyai beberapa kelemahan, seperti terjadinya putus generasi sehingga ragam corak khas Kendal sulit dikenal dan minimnya peminat dan perajin. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain motif batik hayati dengan pewarna alam dan diversifikasi produk sebagai pemberdayaan pembatik Limbangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui kerja sama dengan Batik Linggo Limbangan dan masyarakat dengan jumlah peserta 20 orang. Pada tahap pertama, fasilitator memberikan penjelasan tentang proses pembuatan batik. Pada tahap kedua, mereka diajak untuk praktik langsung dengan proses yang telah dijelaskan. Hasilnya adalah enam motif batik bertema biologi, yaitu biofer (biologi pembuahan), bioba (biologi amuba), biovi (biologi virus), biona (biologi DNA), bioga (biologi alga), dan biongi (biologi jamur). Hasilnya, masyarakat semakin sadar akan pentingnya menjaga keberagaman motif batik dan dapat memanfaatkan pewarna alami yang berasal dari tanaman di sekitar mereka
Analisis Penerapan Strategi TOK (Tiru, Olah, Kembangkan) dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Kreatif Cerpen di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Besuk : Analysis of the Implementation of the TOK Strategy (Tiru, Olah, Kembangkan) in Creative Writing Learning for Short Stories in Class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Besuk
This study aims to explore the application of the TOK (Imitate, Process, and Develop) method in improving short story writing skills among grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Besuk. The issues raised are the low writing skills among students and the lack of interesting and effective learning methods. This study applies a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and analysis of student writing. The TOK method is carried out in three phases: the Imitate phase (imitating existing short story texts), the Process phase (changing some story elements), and the Develop phase (creating short stories independently). The findings of the study indicate that this method can help students understand the structure of short stories, develop ideas creatively, and produce writing with a more varied style. At the end of the process, students showed progress in terms of originality of ideas, story integration, richness of word choice, and the ability to convey moral messages through writing. These results indicate that the TOK method is effective for use in learning to write short stories at the high school level and can be an innovative choice in teaching Indonesian
Analisis Struktur Naratif dalam Antologi Puisi “Cica 96 Puisi” Karya Cyntha Hariadi: Analysis of Narrative Structure in the Poetry Anthology "Cica 96 Puisi" by Cyntha Hariadi
This study aims to analyze the narrative structure in Cyntha Hariadi\u27s anthology, "Cica 96 Puisi," focusing on the poet\u27s method of constructing narratives through elements of plot, characters, setting, theme, and message. The approach used was qualitative descriptive, using reading and note-taking techniques on 27 poems with dominant narrative elements. The analysis emphasized the relationship between story and discourse within the poetic texts. The results show that "Cica 96 Puisi" presents a complex and reflective narrative structure. The narratives in her poems form a historical mosaic that records the journey of identity, trauma, and social experiences of ethnic Chinese in Indonesia. The plot is structured chronologically and reflectively, moving between the past and the present. The setting and time depict social realities, while the message emphasizes the importance of accepting identity and historical memory as a form of resistance against discrimination. Overall, Cyntha Hariadi successfully constructs poetry as a narrative medium that represents identity, racism, and social criticism through simple yet meaningful poetic language
Bibliometric Analysis: Problem-Based Learning, Problem-Solving Skills, Self-Regulated Learning Assisted by Geogebra in Vocational High School
This study aims to analyze the bibliometric mapping of vocational high school mathematics research from 2020 to 2024 to address the research gap on problem-solving skills in the problem-based learning model assisted by GeoGebra, with a focus on students’ self-regulated learning in vocational high school. The data collected focuses on the keywords "mathematics, problem-solving, self-regulated learning, GeoGebra" to identify journals published between 2020 and 2024, using Google Scholar as the data source through Publish or Perish to gather data and Harzing\u27s VOSviewer for bibliometric mapping. This study identified seven articles related to the keywords. The research follows the PRISMA systematic review method. The findings indicate that publications on problem-solving skills within the problem-based learning model assisted by GeoGebra, viewed from students\u27 self-regulated learning in vocational high school, still have the potential to grow in the coming years. Moreover, problem-based learning positively impacts students\u27 self-regulated learning and problem-solving skills in vocational high school
Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Berbasis Budaya Lokal Bali Menyama Braya Terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Ditinjau Dari Motivasi Berprestasi Siswa Kelas V Di Sekolah Dasar
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis budaya lokal Bali Menyama Braya dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari motivasi beprestasi siswa kelas V di SD Gugus 2 Tampaksiring, Kecamatan Tampaksiring tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan rancangan Non Equivalent posttest only control group design dengan rancangan faktorial 2 × 2. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas V di Gugus 2 Tampaksiring Kecamatan Tampaksiring tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 176 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner untuk mengukur motivasi berprestasi dan tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh: 1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis budaya lokal Bali Menyama Braya dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai (sign = 0,030, p<0,05). 2) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai (sign = 0,000, p < 0,05). 3) Pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis budaya lokal Bali Menyama Braya dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai (sign = 0,000, p < 0,05). 4) Pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi rendah, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis budaya lokal Bali Menyama Braya dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran konvensional, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai (sign = 0,031, p < 0,05)
