Logistic system of a company and its spatial structure
In this publication there are the description of logistic product and its system's elements presented. There are also logistic subsystems and their elements separated which are presented in the table. On the basis of the conception of logistic product and logistic elements there is the definition of the logistic system created. Relating to the definitions presented there is shown, that the logistic system operates on three levels (in three structures): spatial, organisational and informational, and there is the sparial structure described

The competitiveness of companies and regional development in the context of quality management
In this article the influence of a company's quality management on competitiveness and regional development are discussed. In the era of globalisation competitiveness is crucial. Classic management theories may not meet the challenges and threaten the firm's existence. For this reason the authors do not present the history and assumptions of modern quality management, but rather focus on its influence on the comapany's competitiveness. Nowadays complex quality management and quality management systems in accordance with ISO are requirements for ensuring a a strong market position for companies and as a consequence the development of regions in which they are located
Traditional purchising and purchasing strategy
The reason for considering the above mentioned contepts was experience gained by the author during internships in one of the polish firms engaded in professional consulting in the field of purchising process optimalisation. In the article an attempt was made to define the traditional way of purchising in average polish company and to show the reasons for such a situation. On the basis of such defined and simplified purchasing activities it was shown that it is complex and hard process requiring well-thought-of and planned strategy.There was also the importance of quality of human resources in the realisation of this strategy discussed. The author showed the meaning of interdisciplinarity of purchasing organisations responsibility. There was signallised, what is the importance of modern information tools for discessed processes. The author tried to give arguments, how to build relations between buyer and supplier. Should they be based on profit maximalisations or on relations between partners? The growth of awarness of the firms connected to the necessarity of process based approach to company management was shown

This article includes the discussion on chosen technologies of fast construction and re-construction of engeneering objects, damaged or totally destroyed as a result of natural disasters, catastrophes, hostilities, terrorist actions ect. Among examples of solutions there are light resistance construction from reinforced ground and other special solutions
The role and place of state reserves in Poland's national economy
In every country the national economy is exposed to different disturbances, even when disregarding the level of economic development, economic system, geographical location or political system that is in force. State reserves, which are the basic element of state security, are of crucial importance in the fast changing economic reality. Material reserves created by state not only make it possible to maintain market equilibrum, but they are also the main element of country's security in economic and military field
An assessment of services offered by PKP regional transport according to students
In this paper the results of a questionnaire among students of private and public institutions of higher education in Opole and Wrocław on an assessment of the services of Polish State Railways (PKP) is presented. As almost 79% of the sample has a driver's license and almost 52% possess a car, while 65% of the students who do not possess a car would like to buy one as soon as possible, it can be expected that the demand for railway services by this group is likely to decline in the future. In general, car use is assessed more positively than train use. Interesting is the assessment of cost of useing car and train, which according to the respondents do not differ. Some factors that can be changed in order to keep the demand for PKP services at least at the same level are indicated. In some cases change can be (initially) expensive, e.g. increasing the number of connections. However, improvement of cleanliness is not always accompanied by an increase in costs

This is a software product intended for evacuations of persons by using road transport while keeping to all the binding conditions. This software displays all the points important for the evacuation and its process by means of digital maps; it puts out routes in dependence on extraordinary event. It is possible to manually control inputs, parameters, and the process of the solution
