EVALUATION AND ANALYSIS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS OF THE USE OF RAIL TRANSPORT IN MILITARY TRANSPORT USING FLEXSIM SOFTWARE

    Get PDF
In the realities of modern battlefield, training of soldiers is crucial, therefore it is so important to develop an optimal concept of moving troops by rail transport, for exercises and training in peacetime. Using the simulation of the implementation of rail and road transport, it is possible to analyse and meet the needs of the selected relationship of individual stages of the process studied. Simulation model allows to state that it serves as an illustrative, training element and an element showing some results with changeable situations, therefore it can be a solution for training and making critical decisions for competent commanders

LOGISTIC ORGANIZATION PERSONNEL - GENERAL ISSUES

    Get PDF
The article contains a presentation of the results of analyses of studies relating to investing in the personnel of modern organizations. Conclusions from these analyses were related to the need to improve competences by the personnel of logistics companies. The conditions of their functioning and the resulting need to improve or acquire new knowledge and qualifications by employees were emphasized. The role of managers in the process of influencing personnel was highlighted, mainly in the context of creating work teams and striving for their high efficiency

Supports Used in Makeshift Reconstruction of Railway Bridges

    Get PDF
The topic of the article concerns supports (abutments and pillars) used in makeshift reconstruction of railway bridges. The causes determining difficulties in the construction of supports for makeshift bridges are listed. The following supports are discussed in terms of construction and assembly technology: wooden supports (from the so-called cages, piles, frame and frame-pile, flat and flat and frame as well as wooden splines), steel (pile, frame), as well as concrete and reinforced concrete. Attention was drawn to the necessity of making attempts to use the remaining supports, or fragments of permanent supports to the greatest possible extent

The Quality of unmanned aerial vehicles: ergodesign aspect. Part 2

    Get PDF
In the modern world, scientific and practical ergodesign activity on the development and use of drones, the concept of "human factor" is becoming more and more important. It is one of the main studies in improving the safety, efficiency and comfort of the "man - unmanned aerial vehicle" system operation. The most promising research is aimed at the application and development of new approaches to the evaluation of algorithms for unmanned aircraft maintenance and the organization of their operators` activities.              The system of unmanned aerial vehicles ergodesign quality indicators developed and presented in a tabular form reflects practically all design and ergonomic properties of modern unmanned aerial systems. It is based on the existing normative documentation inUkrainedeveloped by the authors, harmonized with international and European standards. It allows the analysis  and evaluation of unmanned aerial vehicles in order to take into account consumer interests at the beginning of their design reducing the assimilation time of products and preventing irrational production costs.            The results of such an analysis underlie the development of technical documentation, standards, and specifications. They should be taken into account when putting products into production

The article deals with some phenomena of internationalization of economic and social processes, especially in the context of more and more complex supply processes. They got even more complicated during the pandemic. It was emphasized that a very serious situation forces the use of even unconventional solutions or the search for alternative ways to replace what has been strained by the emerging crisis. In a fairly extensive ending, the prospects for a supply chain strategy have been presented

Effectiveness of road embankment reinforcement in the light of model tests on a laboratory scale

    Get PDF
The subject of the article concerns road embankments made of reinforced soil. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the reinforcement of these structures as a function of selected variable factors concerning the soil medium and the parameters of reinforcement inserts are given. The efficiency analysis was carried out on the basis of measurements of the horizontal unit pressure made on a physical model of a soil massif with a vertical wall of reinforced soil. The large-scale model was constructed on a laboratory scale. The article ends with a summary containing conclusions of a cognitive and practical nature
