    No full text
Aesthetic sensitivity is an important aspect of a child's development, encompassing the ability to appreciate beauty, artistic expression, and to understand and feel aesthetics in art. This study aims to describe how extracurricular dance activities can enhance the aesthetic sensitivity of early childhood students at TK Sekar Nagari UNNES. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study include all children in TK A and B groups, teachers, and the principal. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the implementation of extracurricular dance activities is carried out through the stages of planning, execution, and evaluation, where children actively explore movement, rhythm comprehension, and social interaction during the dance learning process. There is an increase in aesthetic sensitivity reflected in three main aspects: movement, rhythm, and expression. Children are able to coordinate movements harmoniously, respond to rhythm more effectively, and express emotions and imagination expressively through dance. Extracurricular dance activities play an important role in stimulating artistic appreciation in early childhood. The study recommends the development of more varied and interactive dance teaching methods to enhance learning effectiveness and optimally support children's aesthetic developmen

The Implementation of the Aceh Special Autonomy Policy towards Poverty Alleviation in Aceh

    No full text
The outcome of the Helsinki MoU peace agreement between the Central Government and the Free Aceh Movement on August 15, 2005, was the granting of special autonomy funds to Aceh Province. This funding aims to improve Aceh’s welfare and development. However, in reality, the allocated special autonomy funds have not been able to resolve various issues in Aceh, particularly in reducing poverty levels. The present study aimed to analyze the factors contributing to the limited impact of special autonomy funds on poverty alleviation in Aceh. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved the collection of primary and secondary data. The asymmetric decentralization theory guided the analysis of this phenomenon. The findings reveal that the special autonomy funds allocated to Aceh Province by the central government have demonstrated a limited impact on poverty alleviation within the region. This can be attributed to several key factors: the absence of a grand design master plan, formalized through a Qanun, for the general allocation fund by the Aceh government; the lack of prioritization of poverty alleviation within the special autonomy budget allocation; and the issue of misappropriation of special autonomy funds in Aceh (corruption)

The Applicability of Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) Through the Tafriqus Sufqah Al-Khatib Al-Sharbini Theory: An Approach to Sharia Compliance and Financial Innovation

    No full text
This research article delves into the examination of Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) within the framework of Islamic jurisprudence, particularly through the lens of Al-Khatib Al-Sharbini's Tafriqus Sufqah theory. Utilizing the guidance provided by the Fatwa DSN-MUI No. 131/DSN-MUI/X/2019, this study aims to scrutinize the Shariah compliance of CWLS, a contemporary Islamic financial instrument that amalgamates the concept of waqf (Islamic endowment) with sukuk (Islamic bonds), to foster economic and social development projects. The primary objective is to understand how CWLS adheres to Shariah principles by dissecting its structure and operations into separate contracts or agreements, in alignment with Tafriqus Sufqah theory, which advocates for clarity and segregation in financial dealings to avoid ambiguity (gharar), gambling (maysir), and interest (riba). Through qualitative analysis of the fatwa and relevant Islamic financial literature, the study explores the theoretical underpinnings of CWLS, evaluates its compliance with Islamic law, and assesses its innovative approach to integrating charitable giving with financial investments. The findings aim to contribute to the Islamic finance literature by offering insights on the application of Tafriqus Sufqah theory to modern financial instruments like CWLS, highlighting its potential for ethical investment and the challenges of ensuring Shariah compliance. This analysis not only enriches the understanding of Islamic financial products but also provides a model for developing future Shariah-compliant instruments that can meet the needs of contemporary Muslim societies

Complete Family Construction for Working Wives in Indonesia and Australia

    No full text
Traditional norms in households often assign domestic roles to wives. However, as more wives enter the workforce, these traditional norms must be restructured to foster family resilience. This article presents field research involving 100 working wives in Indonesia and Australia, supplemented with in-depth interviews and Focused Group Discussions (FGD) with 20 working wives and husbands. The collected data were analyzed descriptively using structural-functional theory. The study reveals contrasting dynamics in family responsibilities and the treatment of working wives in Indonesia and Australia. In Indonesia, traditional norms often confine wives to domestic roles, resulting in double burdens and systemic inequality, including domestic violence. In contrast, Australia promotes a more egalitarian approach, supported by strong legal frameworks and a social culture that encourages cooperation in balancing domestic and professional obligations. The study emphasizes that for family balance and stability, both working husbands and wives must respect and collaborate in fulfilling all family roles and functions. These roles should be carried out flexibly, free from rigid gender stereotypes, which is a key to the success of families with working wives. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of legal reforms and cultural shifts in promoting family equality and preventing domestic violence

Ecological Legal Politics in Indonesia: The Critique within Muhammadiyah’s Fiqh during the Reformation Era

    No full text
The reform era witnessed a shift in the Tarjih Muhammadiyah Council’s legal outputs from monodisciplinary to multidisciplinary, resulting in a product known as responsive fiqh. Ecological political issues in Indonesia became a primary focus of this new approach. This research aims to analyze the Tarjih Muhammadiyah Council’s conceptual shift from monodisciplinary to multidisciplinary fiqh, and to explore how its critical fiqh responds to the ecological legal-political constellation in Indonesia during the reform era. This research employed normative legal research methods, utilizing a political approach to law. Data were gathered through literature review. The findings reveal that Muhammadiyah’s fiqh represents a new paradigm of responsive fiqh, aligned with the principles of tajdid and ijtihad. The shift in the Tarjih Council’s legal outputs is largely attributed to the leadership of its chairman. From the Tarjih Council’s diverse fiqh outputs, this research selected and highlighted Muhammadiyah’s fiqh products pertaining to ecology. First, the Fiqh of Water addresses the alarming, global water crisis, serving as the legal basis for Muhammadiyah’s judicial review of Law No. 7/2004 concerning Water Resources, which the Constitutional Court upheld, signifying the incorporation of this fiqh into Indonesia’s ecological political landscape. Second, the Fiqh of Disaster Management, addressing socio-community issues linked with ecological problems in disaster contexts, has not resulted in contestation or accommodation within ecological politics. Third, Agrarian Fiqh addresses varied agrarian challenges in Indonesia, including food self-sufficiency, environmental degradation, agrarian conflicts, indigenous community rights, and housing and public space access, thereby engaging in contestation with state policies within the realm of ecological politics. In this way, Muhammadiyah’s fiqh seeks to actively contribute to establishing a democratic political configuration by ensuring comprehensive and egalitarian influence on government policies

Re-read Hadith of Prophet Muhammad in the Context of LGBT: Intertextual Study on Dynamics of Islamic Law and Human Right

    No full text
The study aims to understand the interpretation of relevant Hadith texts in modern contexts, in light of the growing debate over LGBT rights and social acceptance among Muslim communities. The study uses qualitative research methods with the analysis of Hadit texts related to sexual behavior and morality, as well as interviews with scholars. The results of research show that the practice of LGBT people in the Hadith of the Prophet is called a fahisyah because, out of the human fitrah, their respective identities have been embedded. According to fiqh scholars, LGBT practices are unlawful, and the perpetrators must be given strict penalties in accordance with the gravity of the acts committed. In a social and cultural approach, LGBT practices can be accepted on the one hand by considering the human rights aspects and the principles of tolerance and the preservation of peace and well-being, but on the cultural side, people are alien to such practices because they have never been found in the tradition of traditional Muslim society or Indonesian society in general. In Islamic psychology, LGBT practices are mental illnesses caused by the domination of angry impulses, so that the tendency to make mistakes becomes greater and to deny things of a good nature. In health science, LGBT practices are becoming one of the biggest infectious causes of deadly diseases such as HIV/AIDS, gender diseases, and other contagious diseases. Thus, LGBT practices are still becoming a barrier to practice in Indonesian society, which is still traditional and adheres firmly to Islamic principles
