    Integrating Theory and Practice: Analyzing Murabahah Sharia Financing Contracts for Aceh’s Village-Owned Enterprises

    The effective application and development of Sharia financing contracts necessitate a harmonious integration of theoretical and practical elements. This article examines the Sharia financing contract model for village-owned enterprises, known as Badan Usaha Milik Desa/Badan Usaha Milik Gampong (BUM Desa), in Aceh Province, Indonesia. Utilizing doctrinal legal research, the study employs legislative, comparative, and conceptual approaches, supplemented by empirical data gathered from interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that a significant number of BUM Desa utilize murabahah contracts, while a smaller proportion engage in qard contracts and conventional lending options. Notably, some murabahah contracts incorporate wakalah components. Most Sharia contracts are formalized as written agreements, typically in the form of private deeds, although a few remain unwritten. To better serve the micro and small-scale nature of BUM Desa/BUMG in Aceh, it is recommended that Transactional Clauses and Standard Legal Clauses be included. Each clause should be documented in separate Sharia agreements to enhance practicality and cost-effectiveness. This approach aims to increase public benefit, improve quality of life, and ensure legal certainty and justice. Ultimately, this article provides valuable insights into the quality of contracts (aqad) for Sharia compliance, striving to maximize community benefits

    PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POP UP BOOK PADA MATERI SHALAT UNTUK SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 70 PALEMBANG

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengembangan media pembelajaran  pop up book serta untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan juga keefektifan media pembelajaran pop up book pada materi shalat untuk siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 70 Palembang. Penelitian ini termasuk penelian pengembangan dan menggunakan model penelitian Borg and Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi 7 tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan, validasi produk, revisi, uji coba produk kelompok kecil dan besar, terkahir tahap penyempurnaan produk akhir. Dengan melibatkan 39 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 70 Palembang. Dalam kegiatan uji coba kelompok kecil melibatkan 9 orang siswa dan untuk uji coba lapangan melibatkan 30 orang siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket validasi ahli, dan juga Tes, Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase sederhana dan juga menggunakan uji Paired t-test dengan berbantuan SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan, sudah dikembangkan secara baik sesuai dengan tahap-tahapnya, dan dinyatakan layak oleh validator dengan kriteria rata-rata “ sangat layak”, media juga dinyatakan praktis oleh praktisi dengan skor 94 % dengan kriteria “ sangat layak. Dan dinyatakan efektif dengan Nilai signifikasi (2-tailed) yaitu sebesar 0,000 yang berarti kurang dari 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwanya media pembelajaran pop up book efektif untuk meningkatkan  hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada materi shalat. Keyword: Pengembangan media, Pop Up Book, Shalat This study aims to determine how to develop pop up book learning media and to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of pop up book learning media on prayer material for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 70 Palembang. This study includes development research and uses the Borg and Gall research model which is simplified into 7 stages, namely data collection, planning, development, product validation, revision, small and large group product trials, and finally the final product refinement stage. Involving 39 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 70 Palembang. In the small group trial activity involving 9 students and for the field trial involving 30 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and also tests, data analysis using a simple percentage formula and also using the Paired t-test assisted by SPSS. The results of the analysis show that the media that was developed has been developed well according to the stages, and was declared feasible by the validator with an average criterion of  very feasible, the media was also declared practical by practitioners with a score of 94% with the criterion of  very feasible. And it is stated as effective with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 which means less than 0.05. So it can be concluded that the pop up book learning media is effective in improving the learning outcomes of fourth grade students on prayer material

    PENERAPAN METODE BLENDED LEARNING PADA PERKULIAHAN DI PRODI PAI PTKIN

    Blended Learning is a learning model that combines face-to-face (offline) and online learning as an effort to improve the quality of higher education. This method strongly supports the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aligns with the concept of Independent Learning, Independent Campus (MBKM), and is relevant to the characteristics of the technology-savvy millennial generation. However, its application is still limited to specific situations, and has not been well-planned and optimized for improving the quality of higher education. This study aims to describe the application of the blended learning method in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at PTKIN. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, which aims to describe a phenomenon as it is. The results show that the implementation of the blended learning method in PTKIN, specifically at IAIN Takengon and UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh as the objects of this study, has not been systematic and sustainable, because it is still situational and not yet part of academic policy. The main challenges in implementation include technological aspects, such as limited network and learning facilities; pedagogical, such as low student interaction and participation; and psychological, such as boredom and decreased motivation to learn. To address these issues, various efforts have been implemented, including optimizing online resources, digital training, using platforms like Zoom and Google Classroom, implementing interactive learning methods, and improving student communication and motivation.     The Effect of an Ethnoscience-Based Guided Inquiry Learning Model on Students’ Critical Thinking Skills

    This study aims to examine the effect of an ethnoscience-based guided inquiry learning model on students’ critical thinking skills in physics learning, particularly on sound wave topics. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and purposive sampling technique. The participants consisted of two Grade XI classes at SMAN 1 Dewantara with a total of 44 students, including 22 students in the experimental group and 22 students in the control group. Data were collected through critical thinking skills tests administered as pretests and posttests, as well as student response questionnaires. The results showed a significant difference in posttest scores, indicating that the ethnoscience-based guided inquiry learning model had a positive effect on students’ critical thinking skills. Students’ responses were also very positive, with an average score of 86.79%, suggesting that the model is interesting and feasible to be implemented in physics learning. The main contribution of this study is providing empirical evidence that the integration of ethnoscience in physics learning strengthens the connection between scientific concepts and local cultural contexts, making learning more meaningful, contextual, and relevant to students’ characteristics

    Analysis of New Students' Science Process Skills Readiness and Its Impact on Basic Physics Learning Outcomes 1

    Mastery of science process skills (SPS) is a key foundation in physics education at the university level for building conceptual understanding and scientific thinking skills. Although crucial, first-year students generally have very heterogeneous practical skills due to their diverse educational backgrounds. This study aims to investigate the correlation between SPS and the learning outcomes of the 2024 cohort of students in the Basic Physics 1 course in the Physics Education Study Program at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. This study used a quantitative correlational design with purposive sampling techniques on 20 students. Data were collected through the SPS test instrument and documentation of final course grades. Data analysis was performed using Spearman's Rho correlation test, considering that the data were not normally distributed based on the Shapiro Wilk test results. The results showed a significant relationship between KPS and learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.431 (ρ=0.029) which is classified as moderately strong. An interesting finding in this study highlights the very high gap in SPS mastery among new students, which is inversely proportional to their relatively homogeneous academic achievements. This phenomenon indicates an imbalance between psychomotor competencies in practical work and students' cognitive achievements. Based on these findings, standardizing and strengthening practice-based learning at the beginning of the lecture period is a strategic step needed to minimize the gap in student abilities and improve the quality of physics education comprehensively.

    MUI Fatwas and Sharia-Based Policy Governance in Islamic Education Management in Indonesia

    This study examines the influence of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) fatwas on Islamic education management in Indonesia, particularly in aligning sharia principles with contemporary educational practices. The purpose of this research is to explore the role of MUI fatwas in policy formation, curriculum adjustment, and governance frameworks to address the challenges posed by globalization and digitalization in Islamic education. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews and document analysis of policies implemented in various Islamic education institutions in Indonesia. The study focused on three key fatwas discussed in Ijtima Ulama forums: the third in 2009, the sixth in 2018, and the seventh in 2021. The findings reveal that MUI fatwas contribute significantly to three areas: the establishment of sharia-compliant educational policies, the adaptation of curricula to contemporary needs, and the promotion of equitable governance in Islamic education institutions. However, challenges such as varying interpretations and resistance from stakeholders hinder effective implementation. This research is original in its comprehensive analysis of the direct and indirect impacts of MUI fatwas on Islamic education management, providing new insights into the intersection of sharia principles and modern educational demands. The study has significant implications for policymakers, educators, and religious scholars. It highlights the need for harmonization between sharia-based fatwas and modern management practices to ensure the sustainability and relevance of Islamic education in Indonesia's evolving sociocultural landscape

    Negotiating The Authority of Female Ulama in the Reinterpretation of the Qur'an in Islamic Family Law in East Kalimantan

    The debate over authority in contemporary Quranic interpretation surrounding Islamic family law remains a frequent issue, particularly for female ulama. This article examines how female ulama in East Kalimantan negotiate religious authority through Quranic reinterpretation to transform the understanding and practice of Islamic family law. Using a convergent mixed-methods design, this study combines quantitative analysis of 30 purposively selected female ulama in five districts/cities. Then, qualitative methods derived from in-depth interviews with experts in Islamic interpretation and family law are analyzed using the theory of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah. The research findings reveal that 86.7% of participants actively engage in progressive reinterpretation of Quranic texts related to crucial issues of family law, including dowry, divorce (khulʿ), child custody (ḥaḍānah), and joint property. Statistical analysis shows a significant correlation (p < 0.05) between a hybrid educational background integrating Islamic boarding school education with modern Islamic higher education and a stronger tendency to challenge conventional interpretive paradigms. Quranic interpretation functions not merely as a theological practice but also as a process of negotiating religious authority through contextual reasoning, maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, and intertextual hermeneutics. This article contributes to the body of scholarship on Islamic feminism, religious authority, and legal pluralism in Indonesia, while also highlighting grassroots dynamics in Islamic family law reform

    Strategic Utilization of Arabic Language Competencies of BSA Students for The Development of Tourism in Central Aceh

    This study aims to identify and analyze strategies for utilizing the Arabic language skills of students from the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program (BSA) in supporting the development of tourism in Central Aceh. The background of this research is rooted in the need to strengthen the competitiveness of the regional tourism sector based on Islamic values and local culture, while at the same time optimizing the linguistic potential of BSA students as a strategic human resource asset. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and content analysis of digital publications produced by students and shared on the social media platforms of the BSA Department at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The findings indicate that Arabic language skills can be utilized in two main areas: digital marketing to attract tourists from Middle Eastern countries, and the development of educational tourism through the “Language Village” concept. Institutional collaboration between the BSA Study Program and the Central Aceh Tourism Office has also proven to create opportunities for sustainable synergy in training programs, cultural promotion, and applied research. This study concludes that Arabic is not only an academic tool, but also holds significant economic and cultural value for the development of local tourism. Abstrak Penelitian ini menganalisis model strategis pemanfaatan kompetensi bahasa Arab mahasiswa Program Studi Bahasa dan Sastra Arab (BSA) untuk mendukung pengembangan pariwisata di Aceh Tengah. Dengan menggunakan desain kualitatif deskriptif dan pendekatan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, serta analisis konten terhadap publikasi digital mahasiswa yang disebarluaskan melalui platform media sosial resmi Jurusan BSA UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua domain strategis utama, yaitu: (1) pemasaran digital yang menyasar wisatawan dari negara-negara Timur Tengah dan (2) pengembangan wisata edukasi melalui model “Kampung Bahasa”. Selain itu, kolaborasi kelembagaan antara Program Studi BSA dan Dinas Pariwisata Aceh Tengah terbukti mendorong terciptanya sinergi berkelanjutan dalam program pelatihan, promosi budaya, dan penelitian terapan. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini berkontribusi dengan memperluas kajian pendidikan bahasa Arab ke dalam kerangka pengembangan sosial-ekonomi dan budaya, serta secara praktis menawarkan model strategis yang aplikatif bagi perumusan kebijakan pariwisata daerah.     ABSTRAK Pola asuh religius merupakan salah satu dari beragam pendekatan pola asuh, metode ini dapat menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang sangat efektif dalam membentuk identitas gender pada anak laki-laki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode, faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat, serta evaluasi dari pola asuh religius dalam membentuk identitas gender pada anak laki-laki di Panti Asuhan Islam Media Kasih Putra Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif model deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis data yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pola asuh religius ini menggunakan 5 metode dalam membentuk identitas gender pada anak laki-laki di panti asuhannya, yaitu: metode keteladanan, metode pembiasaan, metode perhatian, metode nasihat dan metode hukuman; 2) Faktor pendukung terdiri dari keteladanan pengasuh dan guru mengaji, pengaruh lingkungan dalam panti asuhan, dan rekan sebaya. Kemudian faktor penghambatnya terdiri dari pengaruh budaya luar (media sosial), pengaruh lingkungan luar panti asuhan, dan tabiat bawaan; 3) Evaluasi dari pola asuh religius memberikan dampak yang positif dalam pembentukan identitas gender pada anak laki-laki karena semua ajarannya berlandaskan kepada Al-Qur’an dan hadis. Sehingga dapat menjadi pilihan yang tepat dalam mendidik anak di era digital saat ini.   Kata kunci: Pola asuh religius, identitas gender, dan anak laki-laki.Religious parenting is one of the various parenting approaches, this method can be a very effective approach in shaping gender identity in boys. This study aims to determine the methods, supporting factors and inhibiting factors, as well as the evaluation of religious parenting in shaping gender identity in boys at the Media Kasih Putra Islamic Orphanage in Banda Aceh. This type of research is field research with a qualitative descriptive qualitative approach. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods were in-depth interviews, observation, documentation with data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: 1) this religious parenting pattern uses 5 methods in shaping gender identity in boys at the orphanage, namely: the exemplary method, the habituation method, the attention method, the advice method and the punishment method; 2). Supporting factors include the role models of caregivers and Quran teachers, environmental influences within the orphanage, and peers. Inhibiting factors include external cultural influences (social media), the influence of the environment outside the orphanage, and innate traits. 3) Evaluation of religious parenting has a positive impact on the formation of gender identity in boys because all teachings are based on the Quran and Hadith. Therefore, it can be the right choice in educating children in today's digital era.

    MODEL INTEGRATIF PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM MULTIKULTURAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI SOSIAL MAHASISWA

    This study aims to analyze the implementation of an integrative learning model based on multicultural values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and its contribution to enhancing the social competence of students at Andi Djemma University. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, involving one PAI lecturer and ten students from Bugis, Toraja, and Luwu ethnic backgrounds as informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s thematic analysis technique with source triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings reveal that the application of the multicultural integrative learning model through interactive lectures, cross-ethnic discussions, and socio-religious reflections successfully created an inclusive and dialogical learning atmosphere. The integration of values such as tolerance, empathy, equality, and social justice into the learning process strengthened students’ communication skills, collaboration, and social sensitivity. Furthermore, the model contributed to reinforcing religious moderation, fostering more open-minded attitudes among students, and promoting respect for diversity. The study also identified several challenges, including limited instructional time, learning materials that were not yet fully contextual, and hierarchical cultural patterns that restricted the active participation of some students. This research concludes that the multicultural integrative PAI model is an effective approach for developing students’ social competence while simultaneously strengthening moderate and contextually grounded Islamic character. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for developing multicultural-based PAI curricula in public universities.
