China's Personal Income Tax Reform and the Disparity
Get PDFBased on the grouped income data of urban residents, published by China's National Bureau of Statistics of China, this paper analyzes the impact of China's individual income tax reform on the income gap. This paper draws a surprising conclusion after analysis, that is, the role of the current personal income tax policy of China is only to increase the national tax. As a result, the redistribution processes, such as personal income tax and social security system, do not improve the income distribution of urban residents, but instead make the income gap even wider.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF本研究の目的は、平成26年度に入学した学生を対象に文部科学省が推奨する新体力テストを入学時、2年進級時に実施し、そこで得られた結果を①全国平均値との比較を行うこと、②本学学生における縦断的比較を行うことで、本学学生の体力特性や短期的推移を把握するとともに、今後の体育授業における健康・体力指導時の客観的基礎資料を得ることである。その結果、以下の２つの示唆を得ることができた。１）体格の推移について、男女に共通して、体重が全国平均値を有意に上回ったが、縦断的比較においては大きな変化はなかった。２）体力の推移について、男女ともに全国平均値及び縦断的比較において、進学時が低下傾向であった。この結果から、男女ともに基礎運動能力に劣る集団であることが明らかとなったとともに、短期間における全身持久力や下肢筋力などの体力低下が明らかとなった。departmental bulletin pape

An increased expression of oral Candida in patients with head and neck cancer during radiotherapy
Get PDF放射線治療を治療する頭頸部がんの患者は、口腔および咽頭における粘膜損傷や乾燥をもち、そのことがカンジダ症の危険因子となる。研究では、頭頸部がん患者の放射線療法における口腔健康状態および機能に対する口腔カンジダコロニーと臨床症状との間の関係を評価するものである。 2008年10月から2009年6月、福岡大学病院において頭頸部がん治療ため総放射線量10〜60 Gyを受けた患者25例を対象とした。菌学的検査のためのサンプルは、頬粘膜、硬口蓋、口腔底、舌領域および歯肉部位からスワブした。回収したサンプルはインキュベートし、カンジダ·コロニー数を48時間後に計測した。累積照射量によって引き起こされるカンジダ種の変化と臨床症状を検討した。OAGは、この研究における口腔健康状態および機能に臨床症状を評価するツールであった。カンジダコロニーの数、累積照射量との相関は、OAGとの合計スコアにより確認した。カンジダ性病変は、放射線療法の終了前にすべての患者で検出された。高頻度に検出された分離菌は、カンジダ·アルビカンスであった。混合感染率は放射線治療の前後では、それぞれ12％および40％であった（p = 0.03）。 OAG合計スコアは、カンジダコロニー数と累積照射で相関した。この研究は、カンジダ菌が直接臨床症状に影響を与えると結論付けることはできなかったが、頭頸部癌に対する放射線治療が、口腔内の臨床状態を変化させ、カンジダの成長に関与している可能性があることを示唆した。departmental bulletin pape
Modelling Grammar and the Description of Semantic System Network
Get PDFThe ‘privileged’ situation of English-speaking world (Halliday 1994: xxx) has made English the most studied language in the world. Indeed, it is no doubt that the existence of alternative versions of SFG for English demonstrates the development of Systemic Functional tradition in depth both qualitatively and quantitatively. In fact, on entering Phase 5 of the COMMUNAL Project in 2002, as developed by Fawcett and other scholars, Fawcett (2002) makes it clear that ‘this already very large generative lexicogrammar has the potential to be […] the largest fully integrated, operational model of any language in the world’. Along this line, it may be possible to say that researches on Japanese has the potential to be invaluable in its contributions to SFL in the global trend. The aim of this presentation is to make an attempt to show the way, in broad terms, to advancing step by step from one stage to the next in developing the Japanese version of Systemic Functional Grammar, which I refer to specifically as a ‘proper grammar’.
To do this, the present study will be to pinpoint the major problems that we currently face in describing Japanese grammar in terms of SFL. Some are derived from applying the method of ‘transfer comparison’ to the description of Japanese grammar, which may cause certain difficulties in developing a 'homegrown' framework for analyzing natural text (as Eggins and Slade 1997 does for English). Yet, more importantly, other problems reside in the lack of the integral model of human communication that handles the whole processes of meaning-making in a specific language.departmental bulletin pape
Initial Teacher Education for EFL:Accredited Higher Education Institutions Facing a New Phase
Get PDFAs of April 2014, more than 300 Japanese higher education institutions accredited by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology or MEXT provide the pre-service teacher education for English language. There has been a serious problem about student teachers having practicum trainings at school, particularly those acquiring a teacher’s license only or those lacking fundamental skills or aptitude. Presently MEXT requires each institution to maintain or improve its teacher training education, seeking the standardization of teaching credentials. This paper attempts to clarify the dilemmas of initial teacher education programs for EFL at colleges or universities under the MEXT reforms of standardization of teaching credentials, as well as the gap between the MEXT guidelines and the realities that initial teacher education providers and secondary schools are facing from the perspective of a person who has been in charge of English pedagogy at university for nearly 20 years.departmental bulletin pape
