Vitalization of D. P. R. Korea's Fisheries sector
Get PDFIn recent years, the fisheries sector of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) has
been active. This paper analyzes the factors behind the vitalization of the fisheries sector.
DPRK frequently use the phrase “Golden Sea” with regard to fishing. This phrase means
that the fisheries sector has become more important. Currently, the Korean People's Army
(KPA) plays a key role in the DPRK’s fisheries sector. Originally, the main purpose of KPA’s
fisheries sector was to solve the KPA’s food problem. Now, DPRK recognizes that the fisheries
sector has the potential to solve general food problems, beyond just the KPA. At the same
time, DPRK recognizes as the achievement of Kim Jong Un, and this is represented by the
phrase "Golden Sea."
Therefore, the attitude of emphasizing the fisheries sector will not change in the near
future. This can be seen from the fact that DPRK has begun to focus on shipbuilding. In fact,
some new ships are named "Golden Sea." In addition, D. P. R. Korea has begun to assert the
legitimacy of international law regarding fishing in Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone.北朝鮮は近年、水産部門と関連して「黄金の海」との表現を使用している。これは水産部門の重要性が高まっていることを意味している。北朝鮮の水産部門では朝鮮人民軍が中心的な役割を担っているが、その目的はそもそも朝鮮人民軍の食糧問題にあった。しかし今では目的が人民生活全体の食糧問題解決に格上げされており、同時にそれが金正恩の功績としても評価されている。また北朝鮮では造船が重要視され始め、国際法上の権利の主張もされるようになっている。そのため、今後も北朝鮮が水産部門を重視する姿勢は変わらないだろう。departmental bulletin pape

An Issue in Urinary Sediment Examination from the Perspective of Quality Control of Samples － The Effect of Relative Centrifugal Force in Sample Preparing －
Get PDFQuality control in the process of preparation for urinary sediment samples is
important for accurate diagnosis. In Japan, hematuria is defined as the presence of
occult blood and five or more red blood cells per high power field in urinary sediment
examination. The Japanese guidelines on urinary sediment examination procedures
state that a urine sample should be centrifuged for 5 minutes at 500×g in the
preparation process. Consequently, remaining components in the supernatant after
centrifugation, especially suspended red blood cells, have been reported. However,
changes in remaining red blood cells have not been investigated under different
centrifugal conditions. We have investigated the percentage of remaining red blood cells
in the supernatant, an issue in the guidelines on urinary sediment examination
procedures, using artificial hematuria.
Experiment 1: To investigate the percentage of remaining red blood cells with
different centrifugal forces, we prepared two types of artificial hematuria with pseudo -
urine made of saline and that made of 5% dextrose in acetated Ringer’s solution and
examined the percentage of remaining red blood cells in the supernatant after
centrifugation at 400 to 900×g. Although 3%-5% of the red blood cells remained at 500
×g specified by the standard guideline, the percentage decreased to 2.0% or less at 700
×g or higher.
xperiment 2: Regarding the percentage of remaining red blood cells at different
hours, the percentage was 6.87% for 5 minutes, 0.38% for 10 minutes, and 0.23% for 15
minutes at 500×g in artificial hematuria with pseudo-urine made of saline.
This study suggests that a certain percentage of red blood cells is suspended in the
supernatant by following the current Japanese guidelines on urinary sediment
examination procedures, which could affect the number of red blood cells in urinary

Japanese EFL Students’ Willingness to Communicate in the L2 － Causes and Solutions －
Get PDFPrevious research has shown that WTC in the target language is predicted by
examining ELL’s levels of anxiety, motivation, and self-confidence (MacIntyre,
1994; Yashima, 2002); however Japanese EFL learner and teacher interactions
have not been closely examined. To better understand JEFLs’ willingness to
communicate in the L2, and how teachers affect students’ WTC, a revised version
of Matsuoka’s (2004) WTC survey was administered to 69 Japanese EFL university
students. Participants ranked willingness to perform tasks in the L2 with their
English faculty’s language teachers, revealing relatively low levels of WTC in the
L2 across both native and non-native teachers. After examining mean scores,
outliers, and previous WTC research, probable causes for lack of WTC included
demotivation, teachers’ behaviors and teaching styles, and student-teacher
interactions. Based on these findings, communicative pedagogical strategies and

Relationship between a new subject "kokyo" and moral education in high school － approach from perspective of “seken theory” －
Get PDFFrom 2022, a new subject “kokyo” will be implemented in high school. It is expected
to play a part in moral education in high school.
In this paper, I will take up books and articles on “seken” that have been published
one after another in recent years, and by considering the relationship with “kokyo”,
students who graduate from high school will be able to form a better society as a
member of society. I would like to use this as one of the clues to provide learning to
participate independently toward the goal of participating in the formation of.
In conclusion, I argued that we should learn the difference between the Japanese
society and “seken”, and then think about what we should do to form a better society.
As a result, it is believed that this will lead to the enhancement of moral education in
