    Inovasi Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Android untuk Materi Operasi Hitung Bilangan Bulat di SD/MI (Studi Kasus SDN 45 Mataram)

    This research aimed to develop an Android-based learning media for teaching integer arithmetic operations to elementary and primary school (SD/MI) students. The study employed a research and development (R&D) approach, adopting the model proposed by Hoge, Tondora, and Marrelli, which consists of seven systematic stages: (1) Defining Objectives, including a thorough needs analysis and goal setting for the learning media; (2) Securing Technical Support, which involved selecting appropriate software, including Canva, iSpring Suite 10, and Website 2 APK, to convert the media into an Android-compatible format; (3) Developing and Implementing Communication and Education Plans, ensuring collaboration with media and subject matter experts to align content with educational standards; (4) Planning the Methodology, including storyboard creation, material selection, and interface design; (5) Identifying and Creating the Model, building and refining prototypes based on expert feedback; (6) Applying the Model, conducting small and large group trials to evaluate effectiveness and user experience; and (7) Evaluating and Refining the Model, improving the media based on user feedback and performance data. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 45 Mataram during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, involving first and fourth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, with both qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results indicated that the developed learning media received high ratings across multiple aspects: content quality (average score 4.6, categorized as 'Excellent'), media design (average score 4.5, 'Excellent'), and technical functionality (average score 4.7, 'Excellent'). Small group trials with 10 students yielded an average feasibility score of 89.5%, while large group trials with 20 students reached 91.75%, both categorized as 'Highly Feasible'. These findings suggest that the developed Android-based learning media is highly effective in enhancing student motivation, understanding, and engagement in mathematics learning, making it a valuable tool for elementary education

    IMPLEMENTASI PHONEMIC CHART DALAM PELATIHAN PRONUNCIATION BAHASA INGGRIS: PENGENALAN BUNYI KONSONAN BAGI MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEGURUAN UNIVERSITAS JABAL GHAFUR

    Abtrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan bunyi konsonan bahasa Inggris mahasiswa melalui penggunaan phonemic chart sebagai media bantu. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 32 mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi yang mengikuti Mata Kuliah Umum (MKU) Bahasa Inggris di universitas Jabal Ghafur. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, audio-visual, drilling, diskusi kelompok, serta refleksi terstruktur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam tiga sesi utama: pengenalan phonemic chart bunyi konsonan, latihan pelafalan secara individual dan berpasangan, serta simulasi pengucapan dengan panduan simbol fonetik. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan masih rendahnya ketepatan pelafalan bunyi konsonan seperti /θ/ pada kata think yang dibaca dengan tink, bunyi /ð/ yang terdapat pada kata this dibaca menjadi dis, /ʃ/ pada kata she terdengar seperti see, dan /ʒ/ pada measure juga terdengar seperti meser. Setelah pelatihan, post-test mencatat peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 35% dalam ketepatan dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam pengucapan. Peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap metode ini dan merasa terbantu dalam membedakan bunyi-bunyi yang selama ini sulit dipahami. Kendala yang dihadapi mencakup keterbatasan waktu dan kesulitan awal memahami simbol fonetik secara cepat.Abstract: This community service activity (Pengabdian kepada masyarakat) aims to improve students' English consonant sound pronunciation skills through the use of phonemic charts as a median teaching consonant sounds. The targets of the activity were 32 students from various study programs who attended the English General Course (MKU) at the Faculty of Teacher Training, Jabal Ghafur University. The implementation methods included interactive lectures, audio-visuals, drilling, group discussions, and structured reflections. The activities were divided into three main sessions: introduction of phonemic chart of consonant sounds, individual and paired pronunciation exercises, and pronunciation simulation with the guidance of phonetic symbols. The pre-test results showed the low accuracy of pronunciation of consonant sounds such as /θ/ in the word “think” become “tink” , /ð/ in the word this become as “ dis”, /ʃ/ in the word “she” sounds like “see”, and /ʒ/ in the word “measure” become as “meser”. After the training, the post-test recorded an average improvement of 35% in students' accuracy and confidence in pronunciation. Participants responded positively to the method and found it helpful in distinguishing sounds that had been difficult to understand.     STUDENT ENGAGEMENT IN PROMOTING ENGLISH AS AN INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE: A PARENTAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN THAI SCHOOLS

    Abstrak: Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua dalam mendukung pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa internasional melalui keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam kegiatan kampanye edukatif. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program pertukaran pelajar yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Indonesia di Lukmanulhakeem School, Yaha, Provinsi Yala, Thailand Selatan. Pelaksanaan program berlangsung selama dua bulan, terhitung sejak 12 November 2024 hingga 7 Januari 2025, melalui empat tahapan strategis, yaitu: koordinasi awal dengan tenaga pendidik, penggalangan dukungan dari orang tua, pelaksanaan pembelajaran intensif di lingkungan sekolah, dan penguatan keterlibatan keluarga dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah, keluarga, dan siswa memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi berbahasa Inggris siswa. Meskipun sebagian orang tua memiliki keterbatasan dalam penguasaan bahasa Inggris, partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan kampanye seperti Family English Challenge dan English for Life Simulation memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam berkomunikasi. Dengan demikian, pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis sosial-edukatif terbukti efektif dalam membentuk kompetensi abad ke-21, khususnya keterampilan komunikasi lintas budaya di wilayah yang memiliki keterbatasan akses terhadap pendidikan bahasa asing.Abstract:  This community service initiative was carried out with the aim of raising parental awareness in supporting English language learning as an international language through the active involvement of students in educational campaign activities. The programme formed part of a student exchange initiative undertaken by Indonesian university students at Lukmanulhakeem School, Yaha, Yala Province, Southern Thailand. The service project was conducted over a two-month period, from 12 November 2024 to 7 January 2025, and was implemented through four strategic stages: initial coordination with teaching staff, mobilising parental support, conducting intensive language learning activities within the school environment, and reinforcing family engagement in the learning process. The outcomes of the programme revealed that collaboration among schools, families, and students played a significant role in enhancing pupils’ English language proficiency. Although some parents had limited proficiency in English, their participation in campaign activities such as the Family English Challenge and English for Life Simulation positively contributed to students' motivation and confidence in communication. Thus, a socially and educationally driven approach to language learning proved effective in fostering 21st-century competencies, particularly cross-cultural communication skills, in areas with limited access to foreign language education

    Abstrak Kemampuan menggambar teknik merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang perlu dikuasai oleh guru teknik pemesinan, dimana saat ini aplikasi Autodesk Inventor merupakan salah satu aplikasi yang digunakan oleh dunia Pendidikan, bahkan dalam lomba kompetensi siswa. SMK Negeri 10 Semarang saat ini dalam proses pembelajaran masih menggunakan aplikasi Autocad, hal ini menjadi perhatian dikarenakan perbedaan penggunaan aplikasi pada umumnya. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru teknik mesin dalam menggambar menggunakan aplikasi  dengan memberikan pelatihan sehingga dapat mengikuti perkembangan saat ini. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan participatory learning and action dimana proses pembelajaran yang memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang aplikasi Autodesk inventor yang kemudian praktik langsung menggunakannya, antara lain mulai dari persiapan, pelaksanaann, dan evaluasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 16 guru produktif teknik pemesinan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini guru dapat meningkatkan kompetensi menggambar berbasis komputer dan juga guru dapat memberikan pembelajaran kepada siswa, yang mana berdasarkan hasil dari rata-rata pre test sebelum pelatihan dilaksanakan mendapatkan 60,83 sedangkan ketika dilakukan postest setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan didapatkan skor rata-rata nilai 81,88, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman peserta meningkat 25,7%. Kata kunci: drafter enginering; CAD; inventor AbstractTechnical drawing skills are essential for machining engineering teachers, as they are expected to master industry-relevant tools. Currently, Autodesk Inventor is one of the widely adopted applications in education and is even used in student competency competitions. However, SMK Negeri 10 Semarang still uses AutoCAD in its learning process, which raises concerns due to the differing standards in software usage. This community service program aims to enhance the competency of machining teachers in technical drawing using Autodesk Inventor by providing targeted training to help them adapt to current developments. The implementation method follows a Participatory Learning and Action approach, in which participants gain theoretical knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and then engage in practical applications—including preparation, execution, and evaluation phases. The program involved 16 productive machining teachers. The results show that teachers improved their computer-aided drawing skills and were better equipped to deliver related instruction to students.     Abstrak Dalam pengabdian ini yang bertindak sebagai mitra adalah pemerintah Desa Jatisari dengan dosen Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) sebagai tim pengabdi. Terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang dikeluhkan oleh mitra diantaranya BUMDesnya sudah terbentuk namun tidak aktif, minimnya sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang memiliki pengetahuan terkait pengelolaan BUMDes. Permasalahan berikutnya adalah produk unggulan desa yaitu buah durian masih belum dipasarkan secara luas, masih terbatas pada masyarakat sekitar Desa. Dari beberapa permsalahan tersebut, tim pengabdi bersama mitra menyepakati untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tidak aktifnya BUMDes yang sudah terbentuk. Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian ini adalah melakukan revitasasi BUMDes Jatisari agar terbentuk manajemen tata kelola yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah FGD dan sosialisasi serta pendampingan revitalisasi BUMDes. Tahap pertama dilakukan proses Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan perwakilan dari pengelola BUMDes yang lama, perangkat desa, perwakilan anggota Badan Perwakilan Desa (BPD) dan perwakilan dari masyarakat. Setelah dilakukan FGD, tim pengabdi melakukan sosialisasi terkait revitalisasi dan manajemen tata kelola BUMDes yang dilakukan di Balai Desa Jatisari. Tidak berhenti pada proses sosialisasi saja, tim pengabdi terus melakukan pendampingan pada mitra dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PMM) UMM. Hasil pengabdian berupa pengaktifan kembali BUMDes Jatisari, penyusunan struktur organisasi pengelola baru BUMDes dan pemilihan jenis usaha BUMDes. Kata Kunci: BUMDes; BUMDes Jatisari; revitalisasi; tata kelola. Abstract In this community service, the partners are the Jatisari Village apparatus with lecturers from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) as the community service team. There are several problems complained by the partners, including the BUMDes having been established but being inactive, the lack of human resources (HR) who have knowledge related to BUMDes management. The next problem is that the village's superior product, namely durian, has not been widely marketed, still limited to the community around the village. From these several problems, the community service team and partners agreed to resolve the problem of the inactivity of the BUMDes that have been formed. The purpose of this community service is to revitalize the Jatisari BUMDes to form effective governance management. The methods used are FGD and socialization and mentoring for BUMDes revitalization. The first stage was a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) process with representatives from the old BUMDes management, village apparatus, representatives of Village Representative Body (BPD) members and representatives from the community. After the FGD, the community service team conducted socialization regarding the revitalization and management of BUMDes governance which was carried out at the Jatisari Village Hall. The community service team, which didn't stop at outreach, continued to mentor partners by involving students from UMM's Community Service Program (PMM).     Abstrak Penyuluhan hukum mengenai pembuatan akta otentik oleh Notaris di Kabupaten Sorong bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman hukum masyarakat, khususnya terkait dengan fungsi dan prosedur pembuatan akta otentik yang memiliki kekuatan hukum. Masyarakat yang menjadi sasaran kegiatan ini terdiri dari perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan pihak-pihak yang berpotensi melakukan tindakan hukum, seperti jual beli dan perjanjian waris. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan pendekatan partisipatif, yang melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap, termasuk persiapan, sosialisasi, penyuluhan, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman masyarakat mengenai akta otentik setelah dilakukan penyuluhan. Sebelum kegiatan, sebagian besar peserta berada dalam kategori pemahaman "Cukup" dan "Kurang", namun setelah penyuluhan, mayoritas peserta berada dalam kategori "Baik" dan "Sangat Baik". Dengan demikian, kegiatan penyuluhan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran hukum masyarakat dan memperkenalkan peran Notaris dalam menjaga kepastian hukum. Penyuluhan hukum ini diharapkan dapat dilanjutkan secara berkelanjutan untuk menciptakan budaya hukum yang taat asas dan menjamin perlindungan hukum bagi masyarakat. Kata kunci: penyuluhan hukum; akta otentik; notaris; participatory action research; Kabupaten Sorong. Abstract Legal counseling on the preparation of authentic deeds by notaries in Sorong Regency aims to improve the community's understanding of the law, particularly regarding the functions and procedures for preparing authentic deeds that have legal force. The target audience for this activity consists of village officials, community leaders, and parties who are likely to engage in legal transactions, such as sales and inheritance agreements. This outreach program employs the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with a participatory approach, actively involving the community through pre-tests and post-tests to measure improvements in understanding. The program is implemented in several stages, including preparation, socialization, outreach, and evaluation. The results achieved demonstrate a significant improvement in the community's understanding of authentic deeds following the outreach program. Before the activity, most participants were categorized as having “Adequate” and “Inadequate” understanding, but after the education, the majority of participants were categorized as having ‘Good’ and “Very Good” understanding. Thus, this legal education activity successfully increased public legal awareness and introduced the role of Notaries in maintaining legal certainty.     AbstrakPelatihan pembuatan desain batik motif Melayu ini diselenggarakan sebagai salah satu upaya pelestarian budaya lokal sekaligus pengembangan keterampilan seni bagi guru dan siswa di SMPS Adhyaksa Medan. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan guru terhadap nilai-nilai budaya Melayu melalui eksplorasi motif tradisional serta memperkenalkan teknik dasar dalam mendesain batik baik secara kreatif maupun aplikatif. Metode pelatihan yang diterapkan meliputi penyampaian materi secara teoritis mengenai sejarah dan filosofi motif Melayu, teknik refleksi desain batik, serta praktik langsung yang melibatkan peserta secara aktif. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terhadap motif batik tradisional serta kemampuan mereka dalam menghasilkan desain batik yang asli dan diabadikan pada identitas budaya lokal, hal itu ditandai dengan 32 karya batik motif Melayu hasil dari peserta pelatihan yang akan dipamerkan di sekolah SMPS Adhyaksa Medan.     Be buddy not a bully: Peningkatan pengetahuan non violence siswa SDN Meles dalam pencapaian SDG 4

    Abstrak Tingkat violence (kekerasan) di lingkungan pendidikan di Indonesia semakin memprihatinkan. Salah satu sekolah yang pro non violence (anti kekerasan) adalah SDN Meles. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan non violence siswa SDN Meles. Metode pengabdian ini yaitu persiapan (identifikasi isu, analisis isu mitra, solusi yang akan ditawarkan, komunikasi dengan mitra sebelum pelaksanaan, serta persiapan alat dan bahan), pelaksanaan (metode ceramah, tanya jawab demonstrasi, dan praktik mandiri), dan evaluasi pengabdian (pretest dan posttest). Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 Mei 2025 di kelas IV SDN Meles dengan jumlah siswa 18 orang. Hasil penilaian peningktan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa meningkat dengan adanya pelatihan dengan urutan pengetahuan anti perundungan, kekerasan seksual, diskriminasi, kekerasan fisik, kekerasan psikis. Kata kunci: non violence; pengetahuan; SDG 4; SDN Meles; siswa Abstract The level of violence in educational environments in Indonesia is increasingly concerning. One of the schools that is pro-non-violence is SDN Meles. This community service aims to improve the knowledge of SDN Meles students about non-violence. The methods of this community service are preparation (identification of issues, analysis of partner issues, solutions to be offered, communication with partners before implementation, and preparation of tools and materials), implementation (lecture method, Q&A demonstration, and independent practice), and community service evaluation (pretest and posttest). The community service activity was carried out on May 14, 2025, in grade 4th of SDN Meles with 18 students.     Edukasi pengelolaan sampah dan pemberdayaan lansia melalui peresmian bank sampah di sekolah lansia Dahlia Senja

    AbstrakPermasalahan pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Limo, Kota Depok, semakin kompleks akibat rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dan keterbatasan fasilitas pengolahan. Sekolah Lansia Dahlia Senja menghadapi permasalahan berupa kurangnya pengetahuan lansia tentang jenis sampah, teknik pengelolaan yang benar, serta dampak lingkungan dari sampah yang tidak terkelola. Padahal, lansia memiliki potensi besar untuk berperan aktif sebagai agen perubahan lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan memberdayakan lansia melalui edukasi pengelolaan sampah dan peresmian bank sampah berbasis komunitas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor pengetahuan peserta dari rata-rata 3,68 menjadi 4,84 dari total 6 soal, atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 19,3%. Kegiatan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan lansia dalam pengelolaan sampah. Rekomendasi untuk kegiatan selanjutnya adalah pendampingan berkelanjutan dalam implementasi bank sampah yang dikelola oleh lansia, pelatihan praktis terkait daur ulang sampah, serta pembentukan komunitas sebagai penggerak di lingkungan sekitar. Kata kunci: pengabdian masyarakat; lansia; pengelolaan sampah; peningkatan pengetahuan; bank sampah AbstractWaste management issues in Limo District, Depok City, are becoming increasingly complex due to low community participation and limited processing facilities. The Dahlia Senja Elderly School faces challenges such as a lack of knowledge among the elderly about waste types, proper management techniques, and the environmental impact of unmanaged waste. However, the elderly have significant potential to play an active role as agents of environmental change. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and empower the elderly through waste management education and the inauguration of a community-based waste bank. The methods used included outreach, interactive discussions, and evaluation using pre- and post-tests. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge scores from an average of 3.68 to 4.84 out of a total of 6 questions, representing a 19.3% increase. This activity has been proven to increase the understanding and involvement of the elderly in waste management. Recommendations for further activities include ongoing mentoring in the implementation of a waste bank managed by the elderly, practical training on waste recycling, and the formation of a community as a driving force in the surrounding environment. Keywords: community service; elderly; waste management; knowledge improvement; waste ban

    Abstrak                                                                                 Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi, masih dibutuhkan penyegaran terutama pendalaman materi Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, hal ini mengingat bahwa materi Penelitian Tindakan kelas sangat dibutuhkan bagi guru dalam rangka berinovasi membenahi proses pembelajaran agar proses pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik. Mengingat pentingnya materi tersebut bagi guru-guru di SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi, maka harus dilakukan pelatihan agar guru-guru memiliki keterampilan dan handal dalam memahami pelaksanaan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan baik. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan kepada para guru agar guru-guru mampu melaksakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, guru-guru dapat melakukan penelitian dalam rangka memperbaiki proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah workshop, tanya jawab dan pelatihan. Adapun tahap pengabdian adalah observasi menidentifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan, pelaksaan kegiatan berupa workshop, tanya jawab dan pelatihan tentang penelitian tindakan kelas, dari hasil pengabdian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru-guru di SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi sangat membutuhkan pendalaman materi penelitian Tindakan kelas, hal ini terlihat dari hasil workshop, diskusi dan pelatihan, mereka sangat perperan aktif selama kegiatan tersebut.  Kata kunci: penelitian tindakan kelas; SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi. AbstractCommunity service has been carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi with the title "Deepening of Classroom Action Research Material for Teachers at State Junior High School 1 Muaro Jambi". Based on observations that have been carried out at State Junior High School 1 Muaro Jambi, there is still a need for refreshment, especially deepening of Classroom Action Research material, this is considering that Classroom Action Research material is very much needed for teachers in order to innovate to improve the learning process so that the learning process is carried out properly. Given the importance of this material for teachers at State Junior High School 1 Muaro Jambi, training must be carried out so that teachers have the skills and are reliable in understanding the implementation of Classroom Action Research properly.
