Get PDFUna de las principales tareas de la universidad, según J.H. Newman, consiste en la formación integral de los alumnos; formar personas sabias, con capacidad integradora de la realidad, buscadores del sentido de la vida, resilientes y comprometidos en trabajar por el bien común. La dedicación a la formación del carácter del joven constituye hoy una necesidad emergente en las instituciones de Educación Superior. Este artículo pretende mostrar cómo ello es posible a través de la lectura y análisis de una buena selección de textos literarios, antiguos y modernos, reflexionando sobre las situaciones y actitudes de los personajes, para formar en virtudes intelectuales, cívicas y morales, y dotar al joven estudiante de una sabiduría práctica.One of the main tasks of the university, according to J.H. Newman, consists of the integral formation of the students; to educate wise people, with the capacity to integrate reality, seekers of the meaning of life, resilient and committed to working for the common good. Dedication to the formation of the character of the young person is today an emerging need in institutions of Higher Education. This article aims to show how that is possible to accomplish through the reading and analysis of a good selection of literary texts, ancient and modern, reflecting on the situations and attitudes of the characters, to form in intellectual, civic and moral virtues, providing the young student with a practical wisdom.Humanidade

TRV en área no endémica, en base a los últimos estudios sobre el valor predictivo
de algunos signos clínicos observados y en las actuales recomendaciones y
consensos de los grupos SUN (Standardization in Uveitis Nomenclature) y COTS
(Collaborative Ocular Tuberculosis Study).The aim is to analyze, based on a systematic bibliographic review on tuberculous
retinal vasculitis (TRV), the diagnostic approach and therapeutic management of
four clinical cases of TRV in a non-endemic area, based on the latest studies on the
predictive value of some signs observed in TRV and in the current recommendations
and consensus of the SUN (Standardization in Uveitis Nomenclature) and COTS
(Collaborative Ocular Tuberculosis Study) groups. Method: A bibliographic search
was carried out, mainly from the PubMed/Medline server of scientific articles
published in high-impact journals on epidemiological, pathogenic and clinical
aspects of TRV, as well as the latest findings regarding its diagnosis and treatment.
Subsequently, and based on the results obtained, a review of the clinical evolution
and images of four clinical cases of retinal vasculitis with TRV stigmata that were

puntos de corte propuestos para las variables ETCO2 y AVDSf, evaluar el valor

In particular, the key trait of gnosticism is identified with the belief in the equation of finitude and evil, i.e. with the definition of evil as "absence of good" (rather than "privation of good"). The essay also intends to show how this conception of evil underlies a number of contemporary philosophical and political stances, focusing in particular on the gnostic essence of transhumanism. In conclusion, an attempt is made to expose the contradictory nature of this "modern" gnosticism, as opposed to the metaethical coherence of classical Christian eschatologyEste artículo pretende ilustrar la esencia metaética del gnos-ticismo.
