Leisure Time Use and the Third Sector’s Role in Combating Educational Poverty of Minors with a Migratory Background.
On a class of quotients of Rees algebras: a survey
This paper is a survey about ring theory properties
of some quotients of Rees algebras Rf(i), where R is a unitary
commutative ring, f ∈ R[T] and i is an ideal of R. More precisely
Rf(i) := R[iT]/(fR[T] ∩ R[iT]). These rings can be studied using
pullback constructions (this is very useful to describe the prime
spectrum and to investigate some questions related to the structure
of the ideals). We start by discussing the case when the polynomial
f has degree 2 and in the last section we generalize to constructions
obtained with polynomials of any degre
Bedienungsanleitungen zum Forschen. Eine vergleichende Analyse von Hinweisen und Leitfäden zum wissenschaftlichen Schreiben an deutschen Universitäten
At German universities, guidelines on academic writing are very common and available to all students: they serve both as a guide for writing term papers and as a “guarantee” of standardization in academic writing. Based on models of functional variety linguistics, this article attempts to define these text forms in more detail. A corpus of publicly accessible documents from the homepages of German university faculties is analyzed comparatively with the aid of software. These texts are examined not only in terms of their functionality as tools for study, but also as metacommunicative examples of self-reflexive practice in academic life. The complexity of these objects of investigation is reflected in the intention to define and formulate stylistic, content-related, and ethical principles of academic work

Explorando los componentes del crecimiento demográfico reciente de los municipios del sur de Europa: España e Italia en perspectiva comparada
Spain and Italy are two countries characterized by significant territorial imbalances in demographic growth and its components. This article aims to identify the demographic factors influencing recent population growth at the local scale in both countries and to analyze the geographic patterns of these components using spatial econometrics techniques. The data used were drawn from the Padrón Continuo (Spain) and the Anagrafe della popolazione residente (Italy) for the years 2011 and 2021, along with vital statistics and migration flows (both internal and international) for the period 2011–2020. Local rates of real growth, natural increase, and net migration have been calculated to develop a typology of demographic growth that includes all possible growth patterns based on the combinations of these components. The findings reveal that: (i) both countries share similar demographic trends, with natural increase being the main driver of population decline, while positive growth depends entirely on net migration; (ii) Spain's demographic situation is more critical and heterogeneous compared to Italy's; and (iii) real growth rates, natural increase rates, and net migration rates exhibit clear spatial dependence in both countrie
This article proposes an analysis of color as a fundamental element of language in the work of Italian photographer Guido Guidi (1941), from his ‘experimental’ beginnings in the second half of the 1960s to his definitive adoption of a “documentary style” two decades later. Lacking sources, debates or theories on the progressive shift from black-andwhite to chromatic practices in Italian photographic culture of this period, the study proposes a close reading of key works and photographic sequences by the author, relating them to archival materials, aspects of the international photographic discourse and statements on the theme of color elaborated retrospectively by Guidi in recent publications
A Microwave Imaging System for Structural Diagnostics
A multistatic/multiview close-proximity microwave imaging system for detecting and localizing voids and inclusions in a non-planar medium is presented. The antennas are arranged around the background medium and imaging is achieved through an incoherent beamforming strategy, that does not require antenna characterization. A hybrid clutter rejection algorithm completes the inversion process. Experimental measurements on heterogeneous inclusions within a dielectric, non-planar background have been carried out to validate the system
