    This newsletter takes a look at several challenges of mission command, opening with a view from the NATO perspective. Also included is a comparative study of the various methodologies used for the military decisionmaking process and the importance of seeking to understand the lowest common denominator between these processes. Likewise, it is important for leaders to understand the differences between unit capacities versus capabilities. The newsletter offers several techniques for bridging multinational fires interoperability and illustrates how the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has influenced and shaped the DATE training conducted at JMRC.     African Horizons is U.S. Army Africa’s (USARAF) innovative approach to synchronizing Army activities over time to achieve strategic objectives.     Several of our newly released products are highlighted in this issue of the CALL Insider. In particular, I want to draw your attention to the Joint Air Ground Integration Center (JAGIC) and Mission Command Training in Unified Land Operations. The JAGIC Handbook is a must read for anyone headed to or serving on division staff because of the JAGIC’s value as a tool for the division commander. The Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) completed its fiscal year (FY) 16 trends analysis product to help commands and staffs prepare for exercises and operational missions. You may also be interested in our News From the Front article featuring observations from the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine. Here you will learn how Ukrainian soldiers are adapting to the enemy tactics they are facing on the frontline.
