Elizabeth Moody Burney Wright (1938-2001) was born in Lumberton, NC. She was a member of the New Hanover High School Class of 1956, and graduated from Meredith College in 1960. She taught school in New Hanover County for over 20 years and is buried in Oakdale Cemetery
