Delft Meet Regen: Onderzoek naar de dagelijkse neerslagspreiding in Delft op basis van de neerslagdata van Delft Meet Regen
No full textIn dit rapport zal er onderzocht worden wat de dagelijkse ruimtelijke spreiding van regen in Delft is op basis van de neerslagdata van het Delft Meet Regen project. In totaal hebben er 90 vrijwilligers meegedaan aan dit project en zijn er dus ook 90 meetpunten. De neerslagdata die gebruikt is voor dit onderzoek is de neerslagdata in de periode van 1 augustus 2021 tot en met 17 september 2021. De neerslagdata is vervolgens vergeleken met de data van KNMI station 449, door de dagelijkse gemiddelden normaal en cumulatief met elkaar te vergelijken. De KNMI data heeft een goede overeenkomst met de neerslagdata van het Delft Meet Regen project.Hierna is het onderzoeksgebied ingedeeld in de volgende vier gebieden: noordwest, noordoost, zuidwest en zuidoost. Van deze gebieden zijn de dagelijkse gemiddelden, aantal metingen, standaard afwijkingen en de dagelijkse gemiddelden cumulatief met elkaar vergeleken. Dit is gedaan doormiddel van grafieken, staafdiagrammen en ruimtelijke plots. Hieruit is geconcludeerd dat er sprake is van gemiddelde dagelijkse neerslagverschillen tussen de gebieden, maar dat er geen sprake is van een patroon. Het aantal metingen per gebied verschilt per dag en dit heeft invloed op de nauwkeurigheid van de resultaten. No full textSinds 1916 wordt in het centrum van Delft grondwater onttrokken. In de loop van de jaren is de hoeveelheid gestaag toegenomen. In 1966 is aan DSM Gist vergunning verleend om 13,5 m3 per jaar te ontrekken. De situatie is echter veranderd, DSM Gist heeft aangegeven het grondwater niet meer nodig te hebben. Delft de omliggende gemeenten en andere belanghebbenden zullen daarop moeten anticiperen. De Provincie Zuid-Holland, het Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland en de Gemeente Delft hebben Initiatief genomen. Door middel van quickscan in 2005 is kwalitatief inzicht verkregen in de mogelijke effecten van reductie van de winning onderverdeeld naar Thema's: Grondwaterstijging, Geotechniek en grond- en opervlaktewaterkwalitei

No full textDeze rapportage bevat de beschrijving van de afzonderlijke modellen en is om die reden opgebouwd uit 5 delen. Deel I beschrijft de totstandkoming van de geo(hydro)logie van de ondergrond. Daarbij wordt onderscheid gemaakt tussen Pleistoceen en Holoceen waarbij het Holoceen zowel regionaal als ook in meer detail lokaal is gemodelleerd. Het kwantiteitsmodel voor grondwater wordt beschreven in Deel II. Daarin komen alle gemodelleerde processen (modules) aan de orde als ook de ijking en een beschrijving van de modelschil iMOD. Gebaseerd op het kwantitatieve grondwatermodel is het stoftransportmodel ontwikkeld. Deel III gaat uitgebreid in op de totstandkoming daarvan met aandacht voor de uitwisseling van grondwaterflux en –concentratie naar het oppervlaktewater. De beschrijving van het Kwaliteitsmodel Oppervlaktewater komt in Deel IV aan de orde. Het beschrijft de uitbreiding van het bestaande Sobek model en gaat uitgebreid in op de uitkomsten. Het laatste deel is gereserveerd voor een toelichting op het Geotechnische Model. Het geeft niet alleen een beschrijving van de modelontwikkeling en de resultaten maar gaat ook uitgebreid in op de gevolgen van bodembeweging op panden in het invloedsgebied. Ten noordwesten van het centrum van Delft ligt het terrein van DSM Gist. In 1916 zijn de voorgangers van DSM Gist begonnen met grondwateronttrekkingen ten behoeve van koeling van hun industriële processen. In de loop van de tijd zijn de activiteiten uitgebreid en daarmee de onttrokken hoeveelheid grondwater. In 1997 heeft DSM Gist een vergunning verkregen voor het onttrekken van 13,5 miljoen m3 grondwater per jaar. DSM heeft eind 2004 aangekondigd een groot deel van de onttrekking niet meer nodig te hebben voor bedrijfsprocessen, en dat zij op termijn de grondwateronttrekking volledig willen beëindigen. Delft en omgeving zal daarom in de komende jaren moeten anticiperen op de mogelijke veranderingen in het onttrekkingsregime van de winning. Eerder onderzoek toonde aan dat reductie of sluiting van de winning veranderingen teweeg kan brengen op de thema’s Grondwaterstijging, Geotechniek en Waterkwaliteit. In het kader van het onderzoeksprogramma Delft Cluster is onderzoek ingezet naar de effecten van de reductie en/of sluiting op het (grond)watersysteem en de ondergrond. Het onderzoek is uitgevoerd door de TNO (Business unit Bodem en Grondwater), WL Delft Hydraulics en GeoDelft in directe samenwerking met de provincie Zuid Holland, het Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland en de gemeente Delft. Vanaf januari 2008 zijn de drie organisaties achter de uitvoerende partijen door een fusie samengekomen in het nieuwe onderzoeksinstituut Deltares
