This appraisal of archives left by Sony Labou Tansi consists of two parts. The first one appears as a history of maintenance and of promotion of Tansi’s writings, which are an immense and unknown land. Their eventful history starts, where the literary production ends: upon the death of Sony Labou Tansi in 1995. Physically, the writings are put down in schoolchild notebooks, thrown as they came at the bottom of a little library at the author’s house of Makélékélé in Brazzaville. With no date, sometimes with no title on them, these notebooks appear as a real challenge for genetic critic, who is trying to class them, to make up their stocklist, to scan and to publish them. Reconstructing their history through multiple versions and successive transformations ends up with tracing a map of a textual labyrinth consisting not only of literary production of Sony Labou Tansi, broken up between France and the Congo, but also on notebooks and letters given by the author to the crowd of his friend readers and his publishers. In the second part of the article, we set out to retrace the creative process, to reconstruct the vitalist and hypertextual logic of Tansi’s writing. If Sony Labou Tansi used to write as you breath, his writing with its improvised aspect, described by the genetic criticism as « à processus », comes, from anthropological point of view, close to the scriptural prediction: a speech-writing in continuous progression – against the progress; never turning back towards reading
Semiotic dynamics for embodied agents
Artificial intelligence explores the many different aspects of intelligence like a meandering stream carving out rivers, lakes, and deltas in an endless magnificent landscape. Each time new vistas on intelligence open up, we build new technologies to explore them and find new types of applications. In this article, the author briefly illustrate the current study of semiotic dynamics, the resulting technologies, and the field's impact on current and future intelligent systems applications. The ECAgents project—funded by the Future and Emerging Technologies program

Performance Analysis of Leaky Buckets Integrated in ATM Networks
Performance Analysis of Leaky Buckets Integrated in ATM NetworksThis paper is an analysis of the performance of leaky buckets, which are integrated within ATM networks combined with adaptive control, marking and prioritizing. Also discussed is the performance of leaky bucket dimensioning. This performance is evaluated through network cell loss probabilities and network throughput. The arrival process is a 2-phase MMBP. Similar research has been done by Wu [10,11] using incoming traffic model batch traffic with a Poisson arrival process and a geometrically distributed batch length. The result of the simulation shows that the network cell loss probability is reduced as the token pool size K becomes smaller and smaller, the decrease of the token generation rate causes an increase in the network throughput; the network cell loss probability is higher in the case of a larger mean burst length; and the performance of the leaky bucket can be increased by incorporating other control mechanisms such as adaptive control, marking and prioritizing. For the leaky bucket dimensioning, the results of the simulation show, among other things, that if the incoming cell rate is conforming (appropriate to traffic contract) and the token pool is reduced, then the probability of network cell loss is also reduced. If (M + K) are the same, the buffered leaky bucket results in a network cell loss probability is smaller than for an unbuffered leaky bucket. The leaky bucket with big buffer M and big token generation N result in the smallest network cell loss probability. If the incoming cell rate is far from conforming, the leaky bucket with big N results in a bigger network throughput.
A French-speaking author is not a simple translator of his culture into French: his positioning of the writer in a language which is not his mother tongue, blurs the outline of translator’s craft. The article presents this particular dynamics using the semantic field of the belly, which is central in the literary production of Tchicaya U Tam’si and Sony Labou Tansi. Both authors devoted to this theme their homonymous writings: Le Ventre (The Belly, 1978) and Sa Majesté le ventre (His Majesty, the Belly, 1972)

The analysis focuses mainly on three points: the writing of the pieces, their military characters and the way the authors characterize war.
Queue based Vehicular Ad Hoc Network Prognostic Offloading Approach
Vehicular Ad hoc NETworking (VANET) enables a vehicle to connect with other vehicles and the surrounding devices such as Road Side Units (RSUs) and base-stations through a wireless network. There are challenging issues within VANET environment caused by the high demand of Internet access. These issues include an increase in the vehicle traffic and the necessity of dynamic topologies. Nowadays, the high usage of Internet in vehicles is also increasing the load on the cellular network base-stations. To alleviate the load from the base-stations, vehicles should be able to switch the communication between the cellular network and RSUs to offload the data. When a vehicle is not within the RSU signal range, it is still possible for the vehicle to exchange information using Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication. The main aim of this paper is to predict the vehicles topology, identify multiple offloading paths and compute the costs of the identified paths. Towards this end, knowledge defined network is utilized. To deal with connection interruptions in V2V, we develop algorithms for predicting an efficient V2V offloading path using queues. These algorithms make it possible to reduce the response time, improve the resource management of the network and helps in efficient service connectivity. (C) 2020 The Authors.
