Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. From the calculation of electrical load aeroponics system with cooling zone for seed potato production in lowland obtained that the cooling zone temperature of 10°C requires the greatest energy. The amount of electrical energy use on a daily average aeroponic chamber amounted to 0.132 kWh/m2 control, a temperature of 15°C for 0590 kWh/m2 and a temperature of 20°C for 0439 kWh/m
APLIKASI NOZEL PADA DUA VARIETAS KENTANG UNTUK PRODUKSI BENIH SECARA AEROPONIK
Seed is a major problem for potato growers in Indonesia. Therefore, the acceleration of seed potato production is needed to reduce dependence on imports. One of the important things in the aeroponic system is a good oxygenation of each grain fog nutrient solution to the plant roots. The purpose of this study is to get a good nozzle type on nutrition aeroponic system. Seed potatoes used are varieties of Granola and Atlantic. Factors tested: type of nozzle (N) : N1 (spray jet blue : 55 lt/ h, beam diameter (d): 2,4 m), N2 (green jet spray : 90 lt/h, d : 3,2 m), N3 (microsprays black yellow : 70 lt/h, d: 1 m). Research using a randomized block design with three replications. Analysis of the data using analysis of variance followed by Duncan\u27s multiple range test at level 5 %. The results showed that the use of a good nozzle on aeroponics system is the specification 55 l/h nozzle, d: 2,4 m and 90 lt/h, d: 3,2 m. Microsprayer with specification of 70 llt/h, d: 1 m is less suitable because it has less spread bursts specification. Simulasi Distribusi Suhu Udara pada Greenhouse dengan Aplikasi Air Conditioning (AC) Menggunakan Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Greenhouse merupakan bangunan yang dibuat untuk melakukan budidaya tanaman. Saat ini greenhouse mulai banyak digunakan oleh petani Indonesia dalam rangka produksi sayuran, buah, bunga dan tanaman komersial lainnya. Greenhouse dengan struktur yang tertutup menciptakan iklim mikro yang cenderung berbeda dengan iklim di luar greenhouse. Struktur bangunan greenhouse yang terutup menyebabkan suhu udara di dalam greenhouse lebih tinggi dibandingkan suhu di luar greenhouse, sehingga seringkali kurang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan tanaman. Upaya pengendalian suhu udara di dalam greenhouse telah banyak dilakukan, yaitu pengendalian secara alami maupun pengendalian mekanik. Pengendalian suhu udara secara mekanik diantaranya menggunakan pendingin ruangan atau Air conditioning (AC). Namun bagaimana distribusi suhu udara di dalam greenhouse dari penggunaan AC perlu diketahui untuk peningkatan presisi pengendalian suhu di dalam greenhouse. Distribusi suhu udara disimulasi dengan Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) karena memiliki kemampuan memprediksi perilaku aliran fluida. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendapatkan pola distribusi suhu udara pada greenhouse dengan aplikasi AC dengan CFD. Penelitian dilakukan di greenhouse, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jendral Soedirman, Purwokerto pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2020. Parameter iklik mikro yang diukur adalah suhu udara di dalam greenhouse dan kecepatan. Analisis data menggunakan bantuan Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) dengan software CFDSOF v1.6. Pendugaan distribusi suhu dan kecepatan aliran pada CFDSOF melalui beberapa tahap yaitu pembuatan geometri pada software SolidWorks 2014 x64 edition, meshing, initial condition, boundary condition, dan simulation model. Simulasi menggunakan CFDSOF dilakukan pada pukul 12:00 selama 15 menit. Hasil simulasi CFD menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AC pada greenhouse mampu menurunkan suhu udara pada daerah yang berada terdekat dengan AC. Namun, belum mampu menurunkun seluruh area greenhouse. Persentase rerata eror dari perhitungan validasi suhu sebesar 2,25 % dan validasi kecepatan aliran sebesar 0,73%
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Aplikasi Irigasi Tetes pada Uji Pertumbuhan Fase Vegetatif Benih Kentang Hasil Aeroponik Dataran Rendah dengan Variasi Ukuran Benih
Tujuan penelitian adalah mendapatkan hasil pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun) benih kentang hasil aeroponik. Benih yang diuji daya tumbuh berasal dari dataran rendah dengan ketinggingan 125 m dpl dan akan diuji daya tumbuh di dataran tinggi (1000 m dpl). Penelitian menggunakan RAK dengan 7 kali ulangan. Benih yang digunakan adalah varietas Granola. Analisis data menggunakan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan DMRT pada taraf α= 5%. Variasi benih yang digunakan adalah S, M, dan L. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan irigasi tetes mendukung uji daya tumbuh benih kentang hasil aeroponik. Debit nutrisi yang keluar dari emiter menggunakan tenaga pompa lebih besar (2,54 liter/jam) dibandingkan tenaga gravitasi (0,56 liter/jam). Keseragaman debit di emiter menggunakan pompa mencapai 78% sedangkan tenaga gravitasi 54%. Pertumbuhan tanaman menunjukkan bahwa ukuran benih berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan fase vegetatif.
