No full textIl saggio è costituito da due parti, la prima delle quali, dedicata alla fondazione della Federazione italiana delle biblioteche circolanti cattoliche, è stata pubblicata nel precedente numero dei «Nuovi Annali», XXVII (2013), pp. 137-163. In questa seconda parte viene delineata la figura intellettuale di Giovanni Casati, che diresse la «Rivista di letture» dal 1912 al 1944, trasformando il periodico della Federazione in una rivista impegnata nella divulgazione della cultura cattolica. A questo impegno militante Casati fece corrispondere un intenso programma editoriale, che trovò espressione nella pubblicazione di saggi letterari, di manuali e opere repertoriali.The study consists of two parts; the first is dedicated to the history of the Federazione italiana delle biblioteche circolanti cattoliche since its foundation (1904) up to 1912 and was published in the previous volume of the «Nuovi Annali », XXVII (2013), pp. 137-163. In this second part, the author outlines the intellectual figure of Giovanni Casati, who directed the «Rivista di letture» from 1912 to 1944, transforming the magazine of the Federation in a journal engaged in the spreading of Catholic culture. To this militant engagement Casati matched an intense publishing program, which found its expression in the publication of literary essays, manuals and reference works

Il novelliere di Giovanni Sercambi da Lucca non fa eccezione, anche se l’autore non ha una cultura giuridica né s’interessa in modo specifico al diritto. Il presente saggio vuole analizzare sotto tale profilo queste novelle per verificare quale concezione del diritto emerge da esse e come la narrazione ne risulti arricchita.In the late medieval and humanistic novellas, owing to their very realistic character, the right is an important central and inevitable element in community life. Our result implies a non-scatteredness result for certain high degree scattered binomials, and the asymptotic classification of a family of rank metric codes

No full textIl volume presenta una trattazione degli aspetti etico-filosofici e socio-giuridici delle biotecnologie. Il primo capitolo intende porre l’attenzione sugli aspetti scientifici che fanno riferimento alla teoria evolutiva, ai concetti di mutazione, diversità e norma, per arrivare a interpretare e comprendere l’attuale scenario degli effetti prodotti dalle innovazioni biotecnologiche in un’ottica sia scientifica che storica. Il secondo capitolo è centrato sulla illustrazione dei principali strumenti caratterizzanti il ragionamento bioetico e biogiuridico: si parte dalle teorie, i valori, le regole e le norme fondamentali che contraddistinguono l’evoluzione e l’applicazione della riflessione bioetica, per arrivare ai dilemmi e ai problemi emergenti dallo sviluppo scientifico, biomedico e biotecnologico. A seguire tre capitoli di taglio specifico, rispettivamente centrati sulle biotecnologie in ambito biomedico, animale e ambientale, dove la trattazione scientifica e la riflessione bioetico-giuridica, presentate nei primi due capitoli, sono riprese e applicate con la finalità di comprendere e interpretare le potenzialità, opportunità, criticità e gli interrogativi emergenti a livello di dibattito bioetico
Linear maximum rank distance codes of exceptional type
No full textScattered polynomials of a given index over finite fields are intriguing rare objects with many connections within mathematics. Of particular interest are the exceptional ones, as defined in 2018 by the first author and Zhou, for which partial classification results are known. In this paper we propose a unified algebraic description of Fqn-linear maximum rank distance codes, introducing the notion of exceptional linear maximum rank distance codes of a given index. Such a connection naturally extends the notion of exceptionality for a scattered polynomial in the rank metric framework and provides a generalization of Moore sets in the monomial MRD context. We move towards the classification of exceptional linear MRD codes, by showing that the ones of index zero are generalized Gabidulin codes and proving that in the positive index case the code contains an exceptional scattered polynomial of the same index
