Pregled nekih projekata digitalizacije u Srbiji
A survey of some digitization projects in Serbia in the last decade is presented. These projects were carried out mainly by the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts (SANU) and the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade. The projects concern standards for cultural and scientific heritage digitization, building of electronic archive bases, development of digitized heritage presentations, as well as research in the field of expert systems applied to archeology. The work on the foundation of the National Center for Digitization is described. The Center consists of the leading Serbian institutions involved in digitization. Some initiatives for collaboration with similar projects from abroad are presented
Museum information system – design methodology, implementation and perspectives
Approved methodologies used to develop complex information systems and supported by available new generation software packages and tools, have given us the opportunity to create the basis of the Museum Information System (MIS). Starting from a strategic study of MISS, we have developed two information subsystems: the Central Register and the Photo Documentation Subsystem. This paper presents applied methodologies, a review of the implemented subsystems and further perspectives. In addition, and having in mind that the national cultural heritage is unique, we propose ways to integrate and link together information about different kinds of cultural heritage
In honorem Zoran Parać
...Introductory word for the issue dedicated to prof. dr. sc. The state of the art of the research in mass customization implementation guidelines
Interest for mass customization (MC) is constantly growing in industry and academia. However, a number of failures in adopting MC has been reported. It seems that the academic knowledge accumulated on MC is transferred to practice to a limited extent. MC implementation guidelines is a type of academic research that is specifically designed to transfer this knowledge to practice. However, it is still unclear what MC implementation guidelines characteristics should be. This paper reviews relevant literature in order to identify characteristics of MC implementation guidelines currently available. It also defines directions for the future research on MC implementation guidelines development
