    本研究以大雪山林區之大安溪及八仙山兩事業區以紅檜人工幼齡林(5∼2○年生) 為研究範圍,設置臨時樣區及疏伐固定樣區,調查未疏伐及疏伐林分之生長狀況。研 究方法以統計學之理論基礎,並應用森林測計學之方法,以自行編寫之電腦程式,建 立單木及林分生長模式,並探討疏伐對直徑分布之影響,供為大雪山地區紅檜人工幼 齡林經營之參考。茲將主要之結果分述如下: (一)單木之胸徑、樹高總生長可由Mitscherlich生長曲線式配適,而材積總生長則 可由Gompertz生長曲線式配適之(Fitting )。由單木生長之分析結果顯示,大雪山 地區紅檜人工幼齡林,1○∼14年生時,胸徑、樹高生長有減緩之勢,而材積生長 則於2○年生時達最高頂點。 (二)將自變數(predictor variable)及因變數(response variable )之資料以 Box-Cox 轉換(Box-Cox transformation)處理後,再利用最小平方法建立立木材積 推測式,改善立木材積變異數之非均質性,以增加推測之精確度。 (三)未疏伐林分,其直徑分布以兩個介量之weibull 分布(2-parameter weibu- ll distribution )進行配適,經K -S 適合度測驗(Kolmogorov-Smirrow test for goodness of fit ),結果顯示配適效果良好。 (四)Weibull 直徑分布之介量b 、c 可由林分構成因子(stand structure factor )(林齡、現存株數、地位指數)推計之,其推測式配合立木材積式,林分樹高曲線 式及林分密度變化曲線式,可供推計林分每一直徑階之材積變化。 (五)三個介量之weibull 分布(3-parameter distribution)對大雷山地區疏伐 試驗樣區之直徑分布,具有良好之配適效果,且由其介量之變化,可瞭解疏伐對直徑 分布之影響。 (六)利用weibull 直徑分布及E .D .C .疏伐法(Thinning method based on the thinning percent age gor each diameter class)可提供為定量疏伐(quant- itative thinning)之參考

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
