    The development of industry in the field of electronics is increasingly developing along with the development of technology. The negative impact of these developments is Cd waste (Cadmium). This study aims to measure the absorption capacity of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles in absorption of Cadmium metal which is usually present in electrolytic industrial waste. The absorption of Cd metal is carried out through the technique of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles. The absorption of Cadmium metal is carried out by heating 75oC and carried out by precipitation technique of hydroxyaptite Nanoparticles. Atomic absorption spectrophotometry instrument tools are required in this study. The absorption results show an absorption of 66.36% of the cadmium solution or has a Quantity of 6.77 to the hydroxyapatite nanoparticles

    Hidroksiapatit (HAP) nano-powder disintesis dengan metode presipitasi, dimana kalsium nitrat 4-hidrat [Ca(NO3)2.4H2O] dan diamonium hidrogen fosfat [(NH4)2HPO4] digunakan sebagai prekursor dan amonia digunakan sebagai agen untuk penyesuaian pH. Serbuk hidroksiapatit telah dipelajari pada suhu pencampuran yang berbeda, suhu optimum ditemukan suhu 90oC. Hidroksiapatit juga telah dipelajari pada suhu pembakaran yang berbeda yaitu 600, 700, 800, dan 900oC untuk mencapai tingkat kristalinitas dan kemurnian yang tinggi. Hidroksiaptit yang telah disintesis digunakan untuk penyerap beberapa logam Cd, Pb dan Cu. Sampel yang disintesis dikarakterisasi dengan Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX) and Atomic Absorption Spektrophometry (AAS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Ukuran partikel serbuk hidroksiapatit pada suhu 90oC ditemukan berkisaran 145-218 nm, berbentuk bulat. Kemurnian tinggi bubuk nano-hidroksiapatit dapat diperoleh pada suhu 600oC, dan kristalinitas dan Pembesaran menunjukkan berbentuk batang berukuran nano 90-272 nm dan Ca/P, 1,62.     PT. Ecogreen Oleochemicals is a company engaged in the field of oleochemicals. The problem faced by the company is related to the products produced by the company, which in reality is always there is a difference with the standard specifications that have been established and damaged that tend to be high. The purpose of this study to analyze the factors causing and types of product damage that occur the better the quality of raw materials used, the better the quality of fatty alcohol produced. The method used in this study using statistical tools contained in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and Fishbone diagram to determine the causal factors. Collecting data by collecting reports relating to production activities in the field. Based on the pareto chart that has been made obtained the highest level of damage is the type of damage due to tearing to the amount of damage 968 bag, then the second highest is the type of damage due to fall 542 bag. Other types of damage is product damage due to overheating as much as 436 bags and other types of damage as much as 99 bags

    The background of this research is based on the growing growth of business competition in the electronic sector that requires quality control to be able to survive in competition, encouraging researchers to examine whether PT Sat Nusapersada Tbk has carried out the quality control process well. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of quality control, types of damage, and factors that cause damage in the process of handphone assembly at PT Sat Nusapersada, Tbk. Data collection techniques carried out by interview, observation and documentation. In processing the data this research uses Statistical Quality Control (SQC) methods, namely checking sheets, histograms, control charts p, pareto diagrams, and causal diagrams. The results of data analysis and discussion show that the process of assembling mobile phones in a state of uncontrolled or still experiencing irregularities. Based on the histogram diagram, it can be concluded that the type of damage that occurred at PT Sat Nusapersada, Tbk in Batam City was damage to the camera with 992 pcs or 40.46%, damage to the microphone with 847 pcs or 34.54% and damage to the battery with 613 pcs or 25% . Factors that cause damage to the mobile assembly are workers who are less focused and inaccurate, wrong assembly methods, raw materials that are easily dirty and equipment settings that do not fit properly

    Batam sebagai kota metropolitan, memiliki beberapa kampung tua yang masih memegang teguh kearifan lokal Melayu. Kampung tua Nongsa adalah salah satu kampung tua yang masih memegang teguh kearifan lokal Melayu. Komunitas Capung di Nongsa bertujuan mempromosikan kampung tua Nongsa sebagai destinasi pariwisata Pulau Batam kepada wisatawan mancanegara karena letak strategis Pulau Batam yang dekat dengan Singapura, Malaysia, ataupun Brunai Darussalam. Anggota komunitas Capung yang berasal dari masyarakat tempatan memiliki latar belakang pendidikan menengah sehingga tidak memiliki kemampuan yang baik berbahasa Inggris lisan maupun tulisan dan menjadi kendala mempromosikan kearifan lokal Melayu kepada dunia. Pembinaan pelatihan bahasa Inggris untuk  mengasah kemampuan lisan dan tulisan anggota komunitas dan pelatihan pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai strategi manajemen promosi wisata kampung tua adalah solusi dalam memecahkan masalah tersebut.  Metode pengabdian berupa wawancara, pemberian pretest, pelatihan percakapan dan menulis, dan praktik percakapan langsung (posttest). Hasil dari enam pertemuan adalah peserta mulai mampu mendeskripsikan tempat wisata di Nongsa dan budaya Melayu walaupun masih banyak kesalahan dan peserta dapat memanfaatkan media sosial untuk mempromosikan keindahan dan kearifan budaya Melayu berbahasa Inggris. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mensukseskan rencana kegiatan komunitas capung ‘Heritage Culture Of Kampung Tua Nongsa 2019 dan mempromosikan kearifan lokal Melayu kampung tua sebagai landmark Pulau Batam

    The research inted to analyze whether the implementation of a quality control system in this company has been controlled based on determined quality targets or not. As well as looking for factors that cause product defects in the production process of RV frames in PT X. This research uses statistical process control method. The results showed that the quality control of the Rv frame production process at PT X had not been controlled as evidenced in the control chart with 6 out of 51 data outside the control limit and in the Pareto diagram table, the percentage of defects was flahes/extra material 32.25%. , product defects due to short mold amounting to 29.64% and product defects due to discoloration of 27.67% then product defects due to overcut 8.92% and product defects due to bending at 1.45% and because it was broken by 0.08%. The factors that cause this damage are machine, human, material, and method factors, but of these four factors there are two factors that cause the most dominant damage affecting quality, namely machine factors and human factors

    Caring Behavior and Emotional Intelligence Among Nurses at Dr. M. Djamil General Hospital: A Cross-Sectional Study

    Background: In carrying out their duties, nurses require social awareness and specific abilities that include intellectual, technical, and interpersonal skills, which are reflected in caring behavior. Caring behavior is essential in nursing practice, grounded in values of kindness, attention, and respect for patients' spiritual beliefs. Some patients at Dr. M. Djamil Padang General Hospital have reported that nurses do not fully address their complaints, feelings, and feedback, and are not responsive to patient calls. Emotional intelligence is considered important because of its role in providing attentive nursing care. Methods: This study used a quantitative design with an observational analytic and cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of nurses at Dr. M. Djamil Padang General Hospital. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires measuring emotional intelligence and caring behavior. The emotional intelligence questionnaire used The Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale and the caring behavior questionnaire used the Caring Behaviors Inventory (CBI). Results: The majority of nurses (56.3%) at Dr. M. Djamil Padang General Hospital exhibited high emotional intelligence. Most nurses (95.8%) demonstrated good caring behavior. The analysis showed a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and nurses' caring behavior, but with a weak and negative correlation (r = -0.216, p = 0.019). This means that the higher the nurses' emotional intelligence, the lower the caring behavior tends to be, even though the contribution of emotional intelligence to caring behavior was only 4.7%. Conclusion: Nurses at Dr. M. Djamil Padang General Hospital are mostly between 30-40 years old, female, and Ners graduates. The nurses possess high emotional intelligence and demonstrate good caring behavior. There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and nurses' caring behavior, but with a weak and negative correlation. This research suggests that other factors may have a more dominant influence on nurses' caring behavior at Dr. M. Djamil Padang General Hospital

    The joining of ASTM A36 carbon steel plates using the Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) technique is influenced by the tensile strength and hardness of the joint. To improve the quality of ASTM A36 carbon steel plate joints in the future, prediction methods are used. The prediction results play a significant role in determining the quality of the material connection.The method used in this research was descriptive quantitative, by predicting linear regression and non-linear (quadratic) regression models. The purpose of the discussion in this article was to determine the best prediction model for current variations on the tensile strength of future material connections. The analysis of the correlation coefficient showed a strong relationship in both models discussed. This indicates that the current strength variable had a strong relationship with tensile strength. Meanwhile, the highest R-square score was obtained in the non-linear regression model. The determination of the best prediction method was found in the non-linear regression model on tensile strength, with a MAPE value of 3.57%.     Rekayasa Mesin Pembuat Pelet Pakan Ikan untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Produksi

    Sektor perikanan budidaya memainkan peran penting dalam ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi nasional Indonesia. Peningkatan produksi ikan menuntut ketersediaan pakan yang efisien, namun biaya pakan komersial yang tinggi menjadi kendala besar, terutama bagi pembudidaya kecil dan menengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang mesin pelet pakan ikan yang harganya terjangkau, bertenaga bensin, dengan kapasitas produksi 20-50 kg/jam, untuk mendukung produksi pakan mandiri. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan dan perakitan mesin dengan komponen utama berupa screw extruder, roda penggerak, dan cetakan (die). Prototipe mesin memiliki dimensi 60 x 40 x 70 cm, menggunakan motor penggerak 4 tak (3600 rpm, 196 cc, bensin), tipe pencetakan screw extruder dengan diameter die 3 mm, tabung penggiling berukuran panjang 23 cm dan diameter 7 cm. Prototipe mesin diuji dengan bahan baku seberat 10 kg sebanyak lima kali. Hasil menunjukkan mesin dapat menghasilkan daya maksimum 3,46 kW, dengan putaran 720 rpm (maksimum) dan 200 rpm (minimum). Rata-rata kapasitas produksi mencapai 49,49 kg/jam, lebih tinggi dibandingkan mesin motor listrik 1 Hp pada penelitian sebelumnya yang menghasilkan 39,83 kg/jam. Selain itu, analisis scatterplot menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak pelet yang dihasilkan, semakin lama waktu yang diperlukan, menandakan hubungan linier antara jumlah dan waktu produksi. Beberapa perbaikan diperlukan, seperti penambahan pengunci roda untuk kestabilan. Penelitian lanjutan perlu dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan konsumsi bahan bakar dan mengevaluasi interval pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan alternatif solusi mesin pelet yang efisien bagi pembudidaya skala kecil dan menengah
