Understanding Ḥadīth, “Father of Prophet Muḥammad in Hell” In Shabir Ally's Perspective
Shabir Ally is a Canadian Islamic preacher and apologist. He was interviewed on a YouTube channel named ‘Let The Quran Speak’ about the prophet’s father in hell. However, his explanation is only a brief explanation. Meanwhile, understanding the Ḥadīth of the Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam. Must also use the methodology of Ḥadīth knowledge and the opinions of experts about the true meaning contained in the Ḥadīth. This article aims to provide a more complete explanation of what has been explained by Dr. Shabir Ally in his interview session. This research is a type of literature review research. The result of this article can be summarized as follows: Shabir Ally is in the middle position, neither saying the Prophet's father was in hell nor saying the Prophet's father was saved from the torment of hell. Moreover, the words of the prophet who said, 'My father is also in hell,' are just additions to the story by the people who told that event. However, the author(s) have not found the primary basis for Shabir Ally to say that so far

Public Feelings and Other Acts
In his debut, Ray Shabir shines a spotlight to the realm of his adolescence, before facing the inevitable truth of growing up. In Public Feelings & Other Acts, a collection of theatrical range of works, Ray raises his glass in his own tribute of youth. Public Feelings & Other Acts matures into a kaleidoscopic memoir. It opens up to the reader through a series of essays, poetries, proses, and other forms of writings. Completed with striking visuals that aids his storytelling, the author takes on his own personal accounts on growing up, from creativity to partying to loneliness to heartache. The book is a documentation of the author´s personal period of time, in order to reflect and acknowledge his own coming-of-age before moving forward. Written in a voice that is unapologetically personal yet critically distant at the same time, he makes his odyssey towards adulthood - unquestionably his own
Influence of Social Media in Promoting Radicalization, Extremism and Terrorism in Pakistan: Case Study of PTI and BYC
Social media can be subsumed in the pandemic metaphor that encompasses the proliferating environment for radicalization, extremism, and terrorism like parasites. The research problem examined in this study pertains to the ambiguous causal influence of social media in promoting extremist behaviors within particular social and political contexts, especially in Pakistan. Several studies have reported social media as a platform for the above-listed activities; however, a causative link between social media and the facilitation of indecent activities remains to be established. This study reports several factors that are facilitating digital spaces for terrorism, extremism, and radicalization by working on an investigative approach. It employs a mixed-methods approach, which combines both qualitative interviews with social media users and experts, as well as quantitative analysis of social media content and engagement metrics. Moreover, this paper examines case studies of PTI and BYC and the tactics they employ to achieve their desired results. Through a systematic review that incorporates both qualitative interviews and quantitative data analysis, the study examines the patterns of social media engagement, the correlation between social media and real-world practices of radicalization, and, foremost, the role of algorithmic magnification. The finding indicates that digital environment aids radicalization with diverse patterns observed across individuals depending on their locations and socio-political backgrounds. Namely, the behavior patterns of different individuals and groups, as well as their engagement with extremist content and the algorithmic propagation of such content, vary, manipulating the trajectory of radicalization in inimitable ways. This highlights the multifaceted nature of the digital front and its impact on extremist behaviors while necessitating tailored interventions and stringent policy response. The results underscore past studies that have been lacking and relate social media to a theatre of propaganda, as this carries a cofactor of digital radicalization, extremism, and terrorism, which has implications for societal stability. It also highlights the imperative for tailored policy actions to combat digital radicalization. The paper recommends that authorities prioritize algorithm accountability, regulate political digital campaigns, and invest in counter-narrative initiatives to maintain societal stability and prevent the misuse of internet platforms
Role of microstructural geometry in the deformation and failure of polycrystalline materials
A deeper understanding of the deformation and failure mechanisms in polycrystals is of utmost importance for their reliable use as engineering materials. These mechanisms are strongly influenced by the geometry of the granular arrangement. In this work, two-dimensional intergranular quasi-static crack propagation in brittle polycrystals and grain boundary sliding in creeping polycrystals have been numerically investigated with the aid of a Generalized Finite Element Method. The role of the parameters defining the cohesion of the grain boundaries in intergranular crack propagation has been investigated. It is shown that under certain circumstances crack paths are not affected by variations of cohesive law parameters. Moreover, beyond a certain brittleness threshold, the load-displacement curves can be mutually scaled and obtained from each other using simple linear elastic fracture mechanics relations. The insensitivity of crack paths to variations of cohesive law parameters and the mutual scaling of load-displacement curves can be exploited to avoid computationally expensive simulations. The uniqueness of the crack path with respect to cohesive law parameters has also enabled the study of the scaling properties of crack profiles in brittle polycrystals. The results of this study shed light on the roughening mechanism in 2D brittle solids. Finally, it has been shown that microstructural randomness has a strong influence on the response of creeping polycrystals with free grain boundary sliding. This study provides an understanding of the role of microstructural geometry in polycrystalline materials undergoing intergranular fracture and grain boundary sliding.Structural EngineeringCivil Engineering and Geoscience

Female and the outrageous Arab patriarchy: Analysing Nawal El Saadawi’s “Woman at point zero” as a novel of female derision and melancholia
All my life I have seen searching for something that would fill me with pride, make me feel superior to everyone else, including kings, princes and rules. (El Saadawi: 1983)
The paper purports to catechize the Egyptian born Nawal EL Saadawi’s “woman at point zero” in the mise-en-scene of the western feminist theories. The objective of this anatomizing and analysis is to corroborate and document a confabulation and outline the benefits of comparative feminist discourse with regard to patriarchal policies in the Middle East. The paper sternly but clearly adduces that El Saadawi strongly altercates the supremacy of a traditionally phallocentric society empowered by religion and masculinity. In “Woman at Point Zero” the author has impetuously reinterpreted disentangled culturally subdued dogmas and credos and deconstructed regressive traditions allied with patriarchal jurisdiction and sovereignty. Reckoning on her experience as a prison psychiatrist, El Saadawi grills a chauvinist culture that callously brutalizes women. She primarily aims to centralize the marginalized and give a voice as well as an agency to the voiceless. The author splendidly delineates the abuses, domestic aggression, rape, sexual frazzle and similar other social vices that the callous man eternalizes against women. To a very brobdingnagian extremity, the novel succeeds in consummating the culture of projecting the Arab women as defunct, moribund and obdurate object, yet the narration goes beyond the known liberal approach to conflict resolution in many similar great works of Afro-Arab writers. The writer industriously reinvestigates the face of feminism in the Arab world in a way that is antithetical to the cherished values of women as compassionate human beings. The author presents a resilient, defiant and evil minded protagonist whose audacious revolt against the excruciating and onerous patriarchal culture leaves every reader bemused
