Case Study : Mudim / Siti Zahidah Rashidi
Despite Shaarani’s efforts in positioning MUDIM as one of the successful Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia, his mind was not at peace. He visualized many business opportunities and risks involved in managing MUDIM, such as sluggish economic environment in Malaysia, turbulent market demand and technological changes and various competitive forces in the industry. For instant, competition from other firms, such as Habhal, Jalel and Adabi, and the increase in prices of raw materials used as the main ingredients for MUDIM’s products, such as dried soy bean and chilli, could also badly affect the company’s profitability. As the owner and Managing Director of MUDIM, Sharaani believed that business sustainability was very much dependent on the ability of the business strategy. To stay competitive, Shaarani had started to think to develop and penetrate to new market
Rawnaq al Warda / Zahidah Abdul Kadir
Expressing art in watercolor specifically makes me immersed and dissolved in the world that you create by yourself. You would never get the same result no matter how much you tried to paint it again, it’s a playful nature beyond your creativity. When I am stressing over something, and get my emotion into the deep dark, painting is the only thing I could focus on, making me distracted and focus on remaking a piece of art. A wise man said, “you must be the master of your emotions if you wish to live in peace, for he who can control himself, becomes free”. Remaking these blooming roses makes me achieve moments of peace and tranquility

Screening method for diabetic retinopathy: a review / Ani Zahidah Yahya
Screening for diabetic retinopathy can be successful with collaboration of all health care providers and government in supporting the screening programme. Screening can reduce and halt blindness and visual impairment resulted from late diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy. This paper systemically reviews the published literature on the screening methods for diabetic retinopathy itself. Searches were done through online database of UiTM library until May 2015. 13 studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria as these assessed the screening modalities used in all over the world. Mydriatic retinal photograph and slit lamp biomicroscopy is the promising approach in screening for the diabetic retinopathy. Nonetheless of the limitations of nonmydriatic retinal photograph, it is being accepted in few countries such as Scotland national screening programme. Implications of the study will expose Malaysia to various screening strategies being used in the world and specifically deliberates on screening battery that can be used in UiTM Optometry clinic in near future. Good screening strategy for diabetic retinopathy detection will lessen visual impairments resulting from late referrals to opthalmology departments to get treatment
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Green Team Consultant Sdn Bhd / Nur Fatin Zahidah Abdul Nasir
Green Team Consultant Sdn Bhd gave me an incredible and inspiring six months of practical training. During my six months as an accounting trainee at Green Team Consultant, I changed my view on the finance and accounting services sector. There is a high demand for financial professional services. Many people need professional assistance in accounting, auditing, taxes, and company secretarial work. We can obtain these four services at the Green Team Consultant. The firm is located at 2770-A, Jalan Changkat Permata, Taman Permata, 53300, Setapak, WP Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It operates from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. My practical training provided me with invaluable hands-on experience that I would not have had the chance to gain otherwise. In this report, I have explained the job scope of accounting. This training also broadened my awareness of job requirements. Workplace theory differs from classroom theory. Furthermore, my skills and attitude have improved through this practical training. Talking to individuals of all ages and professions improved my social skills. I spoke to my supervisor and coworkers daily throughout practical training. I also met with the firm's top executives. Working in a genuine firm helped me develop functional and soft skills. Studying new accounting software, such as QuickBooks Pro and UBS Accounting Windows Versions, has been an excellent experience. I believe my computer skills, interpersonal relationships, communication, and self-management skills would all gain immensely through this fieldwork. I will definitely utilize all the knowledge and experience from this practical training in the future. This report also contains the Green Team Consultant's SWOT analysis to identify the internal and external factors affecting this firm. The elaborations in the SWOT analysis will help us understand how to build on strengths, minimize weaknesses, seize opportunities, and counteract threats
