    Problem Based Learning Model emphasize student to improve student problem solving skills so that student’ learning achievement can enchance. The objective of this research was to improve student’ learning achievement through problem based learning model. The method which was applied in this research is eksperiment research. It. The results were obtained several findings, namely: student’ mastery was 63,16% in class control and 85% in class eksperiment. Based on the results of this eksperient can be concluded that implementation of problem based learning model was good to improve student’s learning achievement

    Development of Case-Based Learning Device with Cognitive Conflict Strategies to Improve the Critical Thinking Ability of Prospective Teacher Students

    This study aimed to develop and evaluate a Case-Based Learning (CBL) device incorporating cognitive conflict strategies to enhance the critical thinking abilities of prospective teacher students, a response to the global competitiveness challenge faced by Indonesian education. Through a methodological lens of research and development, the study meticulously validated a suite of educational devices, including lesson plans, student worksheets, teaching materials, and instruments designed to test critical thinking abilities. Additionally, the research scrutinized the practicality of these devices in actual classroom settings, ensuring their applicability in real-world educational environments. The findings from this comprehensive analysis revealed that the CBL device not only met the criteria for validity and reliability but also demonstrated significant practicality, as evidenced by its seamless integration and consistent application in classroom scenarios. A pivotal aspect of the study was the quantifiable enhancement in the critical thinking capabilities of the students involved, which was rigorously assessed through pretest and posttest measures. These assessments, underpinned by substantial effect sizes obtained via paired t-test analyses, highlighted a marked improvement in the critical thinking skills of the prospective teachers. The empirical evidence garnered through this research underscores the transformative potential of the CBL device, advocating for its widespread adoption in teacher education programs. The study posits that such an innovative educational device is quintessential for equipping future educators with the necessary skills to navigate and contribute effectively to the 21st-century educational landscape, thereby responding adeptly to the evolving demands of global educational competitiveness

    The book This Is My Jihad is a book of life stories by the author Muhammad Zulfikar Rahmat, who tells his life story, the story of a person who was born with disabilities or disabilities. He tells the story of a dream fighter, a person with disabilities who tries to fight against obstacles and tests in order to realize his goals and dreams. The phenomenon of disabilities in general has many obstacles both individually and in groups, such as barriers to mobility, mentality, feeling inferior, lacking self-confidence, being isolated, experiencing awkwardness in carrying out social functions, not being able to get along normally, not being able to communicate well, not being able to participate in development activities. The purpose of this research is to describe the meaning of achievement motivation for people with disabilities in the book This Is My Jihad. The method used is a qualitative method with a hermeneutic type of research, and the data analysis uses the objectivist hermeneutics cycle of the partwhole line from Gadamer. The results of research on the meaning of motivation for people with disabilities in the book This Is My Jihad found three meanings of motivation: perseverance, positive thinking and patience

    In the development of a system, quality assurance is needed. A system can be said to be of good quality if it meets the needs of the user. Quality can be measured from various points of view. One point of view to measure software quality is to focus on service management systems. To determine the quality of a system, it is necessary to analyze the quality of the system. The school library system at MTs Muhammadiyah 8 Ujungpangkah has implemented a lot of service management systems to support the process of activities in the library. However, it is not yet known whether the system is in accordance with the assessment standards or not.The author uses the ISO 20000 standard to assess the requirements for obtaining a certificate in the library application by conducting various analyses. This study aims to analyze the application of the library system with ISO 20000. The analytical research methods used include determining clauses, checklists, Likert scale, maturity levels, and fishbone diagrams. The references that I take are based on the results of the analysis of the writing team that I have made including graphs, diagrams, clause scores, checklist scores, Likert scales, maturity levels, and fishbone diagrams. Based on the results of the author\u27s analysis, the school library application system at MTs Muhammadiyah 8 Ujungpangkah does not meet the ISO 20000 standard so that there is still much that needs to be improved in the library system. The Likert scale score is only 11%, while to meet the ISO 20000 standard the Likert scale score must reach at least 60%. The overall problem with this analytical assessment that results in the Library System application not passing the ISO 20000 quality standard is the lack of a Likert scale score and fishbone diagram. With fishbone diagram, the main root cause is found with organitation structure that is not clear to monitor the application working. The hypothesis in this study can be the basis for future research so that the application can meet the feasibility test of the ISO 20000 quality standard

    This thesis raised the title "Views of Students with Disabilities Netra UIN Sunan Kalijaga on Works of Art (Aesthetic Studies of Ibnu Sina and Ibnu Rusyd)". The discussion starts from the definition of disability, the variety of disabilities, and the history of UIN as a disability-friendly campus. Then it discusses the definition of aesthetics as a philosophy of art as well as aesthetics according to Ibn Sina and Ibn Rusyd. The purpose and underlying reason for this research is the lack of public trust in people with disabilities, as well as the lack of access for people with disabilities to art or works of art. This research focuses more on the blind at UIN Sunan Kalijaga because of the lack of access for authors to research disabilities in general. This research is a study sourced from field data with interviews and books related to this research. This research also draws its main source from the book Aesthetic History by Martin Suryajaya. This research uses data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. Then, this research is processed interpretively and descriptively, in order to make it easier for the author to convey it properly and correctly. This research has a focus of study, namely, what is the disability view of artwork? And what is the disability's view of Ibn Art's aesthetic theory and Ibn Rusyd's on a work of art? This research resulted in the fact that people with disabilities have certain factors to be interested in a work of art. The disability's understanding of the definition of art or artwork, beauty, and aesthetics is subjective. People with disabilities judge and enjoy a work of art with hearing. People with disabilities apply Ibn Sina's theory as the basis for judging and enjoying a work of art

    Development of the Test Instrument for Measuring Students' Critical Thinking Abilities on Fluid Material

    This study aimed to develop a test instrument to measure students' critical thinking skills on fluid material.  Characteristics of the instrument and its validity estimation are also described. This research and development study employed five stages of research, namely information collecting (literature review and preparation of the subject matter), planning (defining and formulating objectives), developing preliminary form of the test instrument, preliminary field testing (expert validation), and main product revision (in accordance with the recommendations in the preliminary field testing). The content and construct validity were estimated by expert validation. Results of the instrument validation showed average scores for each component (content validity index of 4.63 and construct validity of 4.75), both of which are in the very valid category. The final result of the instrument validation is 4.69 (very valid if: Va > 4.21), with 98.7% reliability. Description of the study result is presented further in this article

    Emphasizing reflective processes in scientific inquiry and its impact on preservice science teachers’ critical thinking skills

    Adequate pedagogical infrastructure is necessary to continue honing critical thinking skills in preservice science teachers (PSTs), given their central role in training future science students. In the classroom routine of science teaching, inquiry is embedded as a process of teaching how to think, but it is not robust enough to develop the critical thinking. This study investigate examines the reflective process in scientific inquiry and evaluate its impact on the critical thinking skills of PSTs. The study employed a mixed methods approach (quantitative and qualitative) by grouping participants into experimental and control. Quantitative data demonstrated that reflective process significantly enhanced the critical thinking skill performance, much better than the traditional teaching used as the control. The qualitative analysis based on interviews with the lecturers revealed that the reflective processes was highly effective in aligning with students’ situational interests in various academic environments. It captured their attention, making the learning process enjoyable and engaging, and was considered important and valuable by the PSTs. It ultimately enhanced the critical thinking skills and a deepened the understanding of the subject matter. These findings establish the importance of reflective practices in scientific inquiry, proving valuable in optimizing teaching and learning processes and fostering professional growth

    Sufi tafsir is a form of interpretation of verses from the Qur'an carried out by Sufis, with a focus on the dimensions of Sufism both in the practice of 'amalî and aspects of nazharî. This research reveals the history of Sufi interpretation and the essential differences between two styles of Sufi interpretation, namely nazharî and 'amalî Sufi interpretation by exploring the epistemology of Sufism in the interpretation process because the author highlights the inaccuracy of general understanding in detailing the fundamental differences between these two styles of Sufi interpretation. The aim of the research is to contribute to a deeper understanding of Sufi interpretation styles and help to detail fundamental differences in the context of Sufism epistemology. By using library research methods and a qualitative approach, the research results show that based on Sufism epistemology, the explanation of levels of meaning in Sufi interpretation is based on extracting meaning (the context of discovery) and explaining meaning (the context of justification). The distinction between the Sufi nazharî and 'amalî interpretation styles lies in the context of justification and the presence of esoteric and exoteric meanings. As for the context of discovery, both are based on mukâsyafah/sufi spiritual experience

    AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk memberi gambaran bagaimana manajemen peserta didik di MIS At-Taqwa dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah perlu ditentukan keberhasilan pengelolaan manajemen peserta didik. Penelitian yang kami lakukan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, riset ini dilaksanakan dengan metode mengumpulkan informasi dengan melaksanakan pencatatan informasi serta data yang dikumpulkan, dikelompokkan, informasi yang diperoleh dari lapangan serta hasil pengamatan, wawancara serta pemakaian dokumen pada proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penerapan, pengawasan, serta penilaian. Penulis melakukan analisis data dengan cara mengorganisasikan data tersebut, menjabarkan ke dalam poin poin, melakukan sintesa, mengkonstruk ke dalam pola, memilih bagian mana yang akan dipelajari dan penting lalu membuat kesimpulan agar dapat informasikan kepada masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di MIS At-Taqwa Arcamanik Bandung peneliti dapat mengetahui bagaimana manajemen peserta didik dalam meningkatkan kualitas madrasah dan prestasi peserta didik yaitu terletak pada pembinaan peserta didik yang dilakukan di dalam jam pelajaran maupun di luar jam pelajaran. Terdapat beberapa kegiatan dalam pembinaan peserta didik pertama masa pengenalan peserta didik baru, kedua pengaturan absensi peserta didik, ketiga pencatatan kegiatan peserta didik di kelas, keempat pembimbingan kedisiplinan pesrta didik, kelima peserta didik menaati tata tertib sekolah, keenam promosi dan mutasi. Sehingga dari kegiatan manajemen peserta didik ini sekolah mendapatkan dua keuntungan yaitu yang pertama di bidang prestasi akademik dan prestasi non akademik yang diantaranya: juara Tahfidz Nasional, juara umum KSM (Kompetisi Sains Madrasah), juara Karate tingkat Asia, dan juara Futsal. Kata Kunci: Manajemen, pembinaan, peserta didikAbstractThe purpose of this study is to provide an overview of how student management at MIS At-Taqwa in improving the quality of education in schools needs to determine the success of student management. The research we conducted used qualitative research methods, this research was carried out using the method of collecting information by recording information and data collected, data grouped, information obtained from the field as well as results of observations, interviews and use of documents in the process of planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, as well as ratings. The author conducts data analysis by organizing the data, describing it into points, synthesizing, constructing into patterns, choosing which parts will be studied and which are important and then making conclusions so that they can inform the public. Based on the results of research that has been conducted at MIS At-Taqwa Arcamanik Bandung, researchers can find out how student management improves the quality of madrasah and student achievement, which in coaching students who are carried out during class hours and outside class hours. There are several activities in the development of students: the first is the introduction of new students, the second is setting student attendance, the third is recording student activities in class, the fourth is guiding student discipline, the fifth is students obeying school rules, the sixth is promotion and mutation. So that from this student management activity the school gets two advantages, namely the first in the field of academic achievement and non-academic achievements which include: National Tahfidz champion, overall champion of KSM (Madrasa Science Competition), Asian level Karate champion, and Futsal champion.Keywords: Management, coaching, student
