Bu nedenle fethedilen bölgelerde hakimiyet kurulamadan Ruscuk'a gidilmiştir. In 1 768, The Ottoman-Russian wars started and ended with the Treaty of Jassy in 1 792. The work by the name of "Sefer-nâme-i Serdâr-ı Ekrem Yusuf Pasa ", too, deals with the expedition, which was undertaken during the last years of Abdulhamid and headed by Grand- Vizier Koca Yusuf Pasha in 1788 against the Austrians who were in alliance with the Russians. Unknown author of this work furnished detailed information about expedition, which took approximately nine months. From the very beginning of the expedition, starting with the march of the army under the command of Yusuf Pasha from their barracks located in Oavutpasha, until the basement of its headquarters at Rusçuk including the places, which were used by the army during the expedition, and various events, which took place within the army, were explained by the author. In the book, the author mostly recorded the events from the viewpoint of Yusuf Pasha. According to work, the Ottoman army throughout this expedition conquered several Austrian towns and castles such as Mehadiye, Fethü'1-îslâm (Belgrad), trsova, Şebes and tnlik. Again, according to book, the battles against Austirans resulted in heavy damage for the Austrians and Ottomans got more than 50.000 prisioners and many spoils of war. However, the ongoing war against the Russians forced Ottoman army to leave for Rusçuk and, Ottomans, therefore, had to retreat from those territories without establishing a sustainable domination on them

Comparison of Franz Kafka?s and Yusuf Atılgan?s novels on the base of existentialism
