    MODIFYING ZIP-ZAP GAME TO LEFORI (LEFT OR RIGHT) GAME FOR TEACHING WRITING IN DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

    In learning writing a descriptive text, the students should be able to imagine the object then describe it into a sentence. However, they often face difficulties during writing process. They frequently do not know what they are going to write or how to start writing it. In this case, the teacher needs a supporting learning media to make the teaching learning process done more effectively. This research was proposed to modify a game as a medium for the teacher to teach a descriptive text. LEFORI game was a modified game from a Zip-zap game. This game was used by the teacher to help the students in learning writing descriptive text. The game was modified based on the students’ need. The design of this research was Design Based Research as proposed by Akker, et al. (2013). To collect the data, this research used an interview and questionnaire. In addition, the assessment of the game was done by giving questionnaire to get judgment from the teacher. The result showed that LEFORI game was very good and appropriate for overcoming students’ problem in learning writing of descriptive text

    Uji Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Etanol Tanaman Obat Suku Musi di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan

    Musi tribe community used medicinal plants generally based on cultural heritage. Unproper use of medicinal plants unproperly cause the drug does not work effectively. Ten medicinal plants were selected for antibacterial activity tested using disc diffusion method against two testb bacteria i.e Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus(S. aureus) at concentrations of 125, 250, 500, and 1000 μg/mL. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) were determined for the active extract which still gives antibacterial activity using well method. The result showed only three test extracts, i.e Coleus scutellarioides, Blumea balsamifera and Lantana camara gave inhibition zone diameter of 11-20 mm against E. coli. Meanwhile, four extracts i.e Coleus scutellarioides, Blumea balsamifera, Dillenia alata and Dimocarpus melayensis gave inhibition zone diameter of 11-20 mm against S. aureus. Determination of MIC values for Coleus scutellarioides and Blumea balsamifera extracts gave the same MIC value of 125 μg/mL for both test bacteria. Meanwhile, Lantana camara gave MIC value of 250 ug/mL for E. coli. Dillenia alata and Dimocarpus melayensis also provide MIC value of 125 ug/mL againts E. Coli. It was found that there were five active extracts among ten extracts tested. Two extracts which active against both test bacteria were Coleus scutellarioides and Blumea balsamifera. One extract, Lantana camara only active against E. coli and the two others Dillenia alata and Dimocarpus melayensis were active against S. auerus

    Abstract Developer PT Dewata Abdi Nusa (DAN) bankrupted thourgh decision No.. 16/PAILIT/2013/PN.SBY. This ruling resulted in consumers losing money because of not getting its due in accordance Sale and Purchase Agreement. Based on Consumer Protection Act No. 8/1999, losses suffered by consumers to be settled fairly and consumers are entitled to compensation. This paper used a normative legal research by case approach. Case is used by No.16/PAILIT/2013/SBY bankruptcy decision. In this paper the author wants to examine consumer protection Graha Dewata based decision No.16/PAILIT/2013/SBY and legal protection that can be provided to consumers as a result of bankrupted developer PT DAN. The results showed that the consumers have not received the legal protection due to the uncertainty of the law in which the consumers are not getting its due as the Sale and Purchase Agreement. Legal protection that can be given to the consumers can be carried out preventive consumer protection agencies to oversee all matters involving the consumer as well as being consultative mechanism. While the repressive can be seen in the provisions of Law No. 37/2004 on Bankruptcy and PKPU and Consumer Protection Act through litigation and non-litigation. It is also necessary to assess the Bankruptcy Act in the future in order to pay more attention to the interests of consumers and bankruptcy insolvency test as a condition of the debtor in order to avoid bad faith. Key words: legal protection, residential consumer, developer bankruptcy   Abstrak Pengembang PT Dewata Abdi Nusa (DAN) dipailitkan melalui putusan No. 16/PAILIT/2013/PN.SBY. Putusan ini mengakibatkan konsumen merugi karena belum mendapatkan haknya sesuai Perjanjian Pengikatan Jual Beli. Berdasarkan ketentuan pada Undang-Undang No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen, kerugian yang dialami konsumen wajib diselesaikan dengan adil dan konsumen berhak mendapat ganti rugi.  Tulisan ini menggunakan penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan kasus. Kasus yang digunakan berdasarkan putusan pailit No.16/PAILIT/2013/SBY. Penulis ingin mengkaji perlindungan konsumen perumahan Graha Dewata berdasarkan putusan No.16/PAILIT/2013/SBY dan  perlindungan hukum yang dapat diberikan kepada konsumen akibat dipailitkannya pengembang PT DAN. Hasil tulisan menunjukkan bahwa konsumen belum mendapatkan perlindungan hukum karena terjadi ketidakpastian hukum dimana konsumen belum mendapatkan haknya seperti pada Perjanjian Pengikatan Jual Beli. Perlindungan Hukum yang dapat diberikan kepada Konsumen dapat secara preventif yang dilakukan lembaga-lembaga perlindungan konsumen dengan mengawasi segala hal yang melibatkan konsumen serta menjadi wadah konsultasi. Sedangkan secara represif dapat dilihat pada ketentuan Undang-Undang No 37 Tahun 2004 tentang Kepailitan dan Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang (PKPU) serta Undang-Undang No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen melalui litigasi dan nonlitigasi. Diperlukan juga untuk mengkaji Undang-Undang Kepailitan di masa datang agar lebih memperhatikan kepentingan konsumen dan insolvency testsebagai syarat kepailitan agar menghindari debitor yang beritikad tidak baik.     Kondisi pandemic COVID-19 merubah perilaku masyarakat dalam berobat ke arah swamedikasi. Masyarakat Indonesia merasa lebih aman berobat sendiri dirumah dibandingkan harus bepergian keluar rumah sehingga masyarakat harus memiliki pemahaman terkait penggunaan obat. Edukasi DAGUSIBU (dapatkan, gunakan, simpan, dan buang obat dengan benar) dilakukan sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap obat. Program DAGUSIBU juga merupakan program Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia sebagai bentuk pengabdian apoteker kepada masyarakat. Edukasi ini diberikan kepada civitas akademisi SMAN 1 Cibinong, Kab. Bogor. Adapun bentuk kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa sosialisasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dari bulan Juli hingga Agustus 2022 secara daring. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta terkait cara mendapatkan obat, penggunaan obat, penyimpanan obat hingga pembuangan obat yang benar. Adapun metode yang diterapkan dibagi menjadi 3 tahap yaitu pretest untuk melihat pemahaman peserta sebelum kegiatan, pemberian materi sosialisasi dan evaluasi kegiatan melalui postest. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai obat dan peserta antusias untuk mempraktekkan ilmu yang didapat untuk lingkungan sekitarnya
