Pengembangan pembelajaran Alogritma pemograman dengan mengunakan Aplikasi scratch untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pada siswa kelas VII SMP 8 Salatiga
Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana penggunaan aplikasi Scracth dalam pembelajaran algoritma pemrograman dan menjawab bahwa penggunaan penggunaan aplikasi,Scratch sebagai sarana pengembangan pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa,terhadap materi algoritma pemrograman. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan, subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negri 8 Salatiga yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian.diawali dengan mengidentifikasi masalah yang terjadi di dalam kelas. Kemudian dirancang suatu tindakan untuk mengatasinya dalam sebuah siklus tindakan. Pada penelitian ini pemberian tindakan berlangsung. dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.Pembelajaran juga dilangsungkan dengan memakai media powerpoint selain pemanfaatan Scracth. Teknik. pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui post-test dan observasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil test itulah yang. menunjukkan pemahaman siswa. Observasi untuk melihat keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Analisa terhadap data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif dan membandingkan hasil siklus. 1 dan siklus 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan aplikasi Scratch dapat meningkatkan,hasil pemahaman siswa terhadap materi algoritma pemrograman yang diukur melalui hasil belajar siswa,Hasil belajar siklus 1 menunjukkan persentase hasil belajar siswa sebesar 81.5% siswa ada pada kategori,tinggi dan 9,3% siswa ada pada kategori sedang dan rendah. Pada siklus 2 menunjukkan hasil bahwa,sebanyak 84,3% siswa ada di kategori tinggi. Sedangkan pada kategori sedang dan rendah ada 6,2% siswa,Hasil ini memperlihatkan bahwa jumlah siswa pada kategori tinggi meningkat, sedangkan jumlah siswa pada kategori rendah menurun. Pemakaian scratch sebagai bagian dari pengembangan pembelajaran berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi pelajaran algoritma pemrograman.This study aims to explain the use of Scratch application in learning programming algorithms and, answer that the use of Scratch application as a means of learning development can improve, students' understanding of programming algorithm material. This research is a Classroom Action, Research, with the subject of the research is class VII students of SMP Negri 8 Salatiga, totaling, 32 students. The research begins with identifying problems that occur in the classroom. Then an, action is designed to overcome it in an action cycle. In this study, the action took place in two, cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Learning, also took place using powerpoint media in addition to the use of Scracth. Data collection, techniques were carried out through post-test and observation of learning activities. The test, results showed students' understanding. Observation to see student activeness in the learning, process. The results showed that the utilization of Scratch application can improve students', understanding of programming algorithm material as measured through student learning, outcomes. Cycle 1 learning results showed the percentage of student learning outcomes of 81.5%. 10, of students in the high category and 9.3% of students in the medium and low categories. In cycle, 2, the results showed that 84.3% of students were in the high category. While in the medium and, low categories there were 6.2% of students. This result shows that the number of students in the, high category increased, while the number of students in the low category decreased. Strategik Kepala Sekolah dalam Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan Berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka
Lembaga pendidikan berupaya melakukan inovasi dengan berbagai strategik untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sehingga mampu mencetak output (lulusan) sumber daya yang berkualitas dan mampu bersaing dalam menjawab tantangan zaman yang selalu berubah. Kurikulum merdeka saat ini merupakan salah satu opsi pilihan bagi lembaga pendidikan untuk memulihkan krisis pembelajaran dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Kepala sekolah perlu melakukan strategik dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka agar tujuan yang diinginkan dalam kebijakan kurikulum merdeka dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategik kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan penelitian, yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategik kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan berbasis kurikulum merdeka dilakukan dengan cara penguatan sumber daya manusia, strategik pembelajaran intrakurikuler dan kokurikuler, strategik membangun komunikasi dan kolaborasi, serta mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keadaan sekolah. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Thinking Prevents Grave Evil: An Analysis of Thinking According to Hannah Arendt
Hannah Arendt identifies that, in most cases, human evil is banal. People who committed grave evil did not think profoundly about what they were doing, and it did not come from what we consider their “optio Fundamentalis”. This study endeavours to critically explore Hannah Arendt’s account of “Thinking” as a fundamental capacity of human existence. This study aims to investigate Hannah Arendt’s thoughts on Thinking and its relation to other human capacities and actions. We will utilize a critical analysis of Arendt’s works as the method of this study. We will critically analyze her important works, such as Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil, The Life of the Mind, and Essays in Understanding: 1930-1954, while her other works will also be considered. After this study, we find that the activity of Thinking is an essential capacity of the human being as a moral being. Only if human beings think profoundly, he/she can they produce meaningful actions that can hinder them from banal actions, which could even lead them to commit grave evils. The moral capacity of human beings remains in their act of Thinking. The need for exercising the activity of profound Thinking is, therefore, implied
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TIPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS 4
Abstrak: Penelitian dilatarbelakangi kondisi pembelajaran Matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Nyemoh Kecamatan Bringin bermetode konvensional dan berimplikasi kepada hasil belajar 58,82 % di bawah KKM. Penulis berangkat dari pertanyaan apakah melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa? Penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif ini, diterapkan pada siswa sejumlah 17 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kondisi awal minat siswa 70,59% (Rendah), 58,82% (Tinggi) di siklus I dan siklus II 88,24% (Tinggi) serta 11,76% (Sangat Tinggi). Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa menunjukan nilai rata-rata 57,35 (58,82%< KKM) pada awalnya. Siklus I (23,53%< KKM) dan siklus II ( 0 %<KKM). Pelibatan siswa yang dominan disertai dengan tuntutan pemahaman dan penguasaan materi merupakan faktor utama pencapaian tersebut.Abstract: Research background of learning condition of Grade 4 students of State Elementary School of Nyemoh District Bringin conventional method and have implication to learning result 58,82% under KKM. The result showed that the initial condition of student interest was 70,59% (Low), 58,82% (High) in cycle I and cycle II 88,24% (High) and 11,76% (Very High). While the result of student learning showed average value 57,35 (58,82% <KKM) at first. Cycle I (23.53% <KKM) and cycle II (0% <KKM). The dominant student involvement accompanied by the demands of understanding and mastery of the material is the main factor of achievement
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
