Minat mahasiswa program sarjana untuk melanjutkan studi pada program Magister Teknik Lingkungan Universitas Indonesia
Universitas Indonesia has a new master’s degree program in Environmental
Engineering which is under Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, so efforts
are needed to attract applicants. This master’s degree program is a development of the
Civil Engineering Master’s specializing in Environmental Engineering, which has been
established since 2010. However, there are still few environmental engineering master’s
students from undergraduate programs in the same department. The purpose of this study
is to analyze the factors that influence the intention of undergraduate students to continue
their studies at the Environmental Engineering Master’s program at Universitas Indonesia,
so that recommendations can be formulated in increasing the number of students in the
Environmental Engineering Master’s program at Universitas Indonesia.
The research was conducted from April to June 2021. Respondents consist of 110
final year undergraduate students and are still active in the Department of Civil and
Environmental Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. Technical data processing using
Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. This
research is based on Theory of Planned Behavior and Service Quality. In this study, the
endogenous variables are the intention in continuing study, while the exogenous variables
are attitudes, subjective norms, behavioral control and service quality. The results of this
study are also supported by in-depth interviews with eight civil engineering master students
specializing in environmental engineering.
Hypothesis testing with a significance level of 5% if the t-count > 1.96 then the
hypothesis is accepted. Attitudes and subjective norms are significant with t-count values
respectively 2,207 and 3,346. Meanwhile, behavioral control and service quality are not
significant with t-count values repesctively 1,466. and 0,326. These results indicate that
attitudes and subjective norms are factors that influence the intention of undergraduate
students to continue their studies at the Environmental Engineering Master’s program at
Universitas Indonesia. These two factors have a positive effect, which means that the higher
the subjective attitude and norm factor among undergraduate students, the more intention
in continuing their studies in Environmental Engineering Master’s program. The results of
the evaluation of the model resulted in an R-square value is 0,437, variance of intention in
continuing studies that could be explained by the model was 43,7% while 56,3% was
explained by other factors outside the model.
Civil and Environmental Engineering Department Universitas Indonesia need efforts
to increase the number of applicants for the Environmental Engineering Master’s program
from undergraduate programs, which is more attention to attitudes and subjective norms.
Efforts to increase positive attitudes are change beliefs and enchance attributes

through a digital marketing strategy, with promoting regulary about the advantages of the
Environmental Engineering Master’s program at Universitas Indonesia. The role of
subjective norms that is encourage the role of social reference groups, especially lecturers,
staff and friends in influencing the interest of undergraduate students to continue their
studies in the Environmental Engineering Masters program at the University of Indonesia
Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat mahasiswa sarjana untuk melanjutkan studi magister
Program Magister Teknik Lingkungan Universitas Indonesia merupakan program studi baru sehingga diperlukan upaya dalam menarik peminat. Program tersebut berada dibawah Departemen Teknik Sipil dan Lingkungan yang merupakan pengembangan dari program magister teknik sipil kekhususan teknik lingkungan. Semenjak berdirinya Magister teknik sipil dengan kekhususan teknik lingkungan pada tahun 2010, mahasiswa yang berasal dari lulusan program sarjana di departemen yang sama masih sedikit jumlahnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif, kontrol perilaku serta kualitas pelayanan terhadap minat mahasiswa program sarjana untuk melanjutkan studi pada Program Magister Teknik Lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan SEM-PLS yang didasarkan pada Theory of Planned Behavior dan Service Quality (SERVQUAL). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 110 mahasiswa program sarjana tingkat akhir dan masih aktif di Departemen Teknik Sipil dan Lingkungan Universitas Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap dan norma subjektif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa program sarjana untuk melanjutkan studi program Magister Teknik Lingkungan Universitas Indonesia
Policy Strategy to Stimulate Indonesia’s Palm Oil Downstream Industries
The Indonesian government has prioritized downstream industrial development to enhance the economic value of domestically produced palm oil. This initiative targets three strategic sectors: oleo-food, oleochemicals, and bioenergy. The advancement of these industries entails more than an expansion of upstream production; it requires a nuanced understanding of each sector’s absorption and production capacities. This study employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to assess investment characteristics and competitiveness within these downstream sectors. The findings identify six critical policy factors to stimulate investment: tax incentives, the establishment of special economic zones, improved plantation productivity, favorable pricing for fresh fruit bunches (FFB), enhanced access to agroindustrial financing, and the integration of upstream and downstream operations. These elements are essential for fostering a conducive investment climate and advancing the transformation of Indonesia’s palm oil sector to support broader national economic development goals

LAPORAN INDIVIDU PRAKTIK LAPANGAN TERBIMBING (PLT)
Magang III terintegrasi dengan mata kuliah Praktik Lapangan Terbimbing
(PLT) mempunyai kegiatan yang terkait dengan pembelajaran maupun kegiatan yang
mendukung berlangsungnya pembelajaran. Mata kuliah PLT diharapkan dapat
memberikan pengalaman belajar bagi mahasiswa, terutama dalam hal pengalaman
mengajar, memperluas wawasan, pelatihan dan pengembangan kompetensi yang
diperlukan dalam bidangnya, peningkatan keterampilan, kemandirian, tanggung
jawab, dan kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah.
Secara umum, pelaksanaan PLT meliputi empat tahapan yaitu tahap
persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan penyusunan laporan. Tahapan pelaksanaan PLT
meliputi tahap pembekalan, penerjunan, dan praktik mengajar. Pelaksanaan program
PLT dimulai dari tanggal 15 September 2017 sampai dengan 15 November 2017
yang diisi dengan observasi kelas dan lembaga, konsultasi, pembuatan Rencana
Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, pembuatan materi ajar dan media pembelajaran, praktik
mengajar, dan evaluasi. Dalam praktik mengajar, kelas yang diampu adalah kelas X
Teknik Pemesinan 1 dan X Teknik Pemesinan 2. Mata pelajaran yang diampu adalah
teknologi mekanik dan praktik kerja bangku.
Penyelenggaraan PLT untuk mendukung pengembangan kompetensi
mahasiswa sebagai calon guru atau tenaga pendidik. Melalui program ini, praktikan
diharapkan memiliki keterampilan dalam mengelola kelas sehingga kegiatan
pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dan menghasilkan lulusan yang
berkompeten. Pelaksanaan PLT di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul ini juga
diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu fungsi kehumasan mahasiswa sehingga sekolah
dapat menjadi mitra Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta untuk melaksanakan PLT tahun berikutnya
