Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Materi Aritmetika Sosial Dengan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik dan Model Belajar Kooperatif Tipe STAD
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika materi aritmetika social dengan pendekatan matematika realistic dan model belajar kooperatif tipe STAD di kelas VII, yang ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, kefektipan dan mengetahui efek pontensial yang timbul dari pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut, (2) mendiskripsi kan karakteristi perangkat pembelajaran materi aritmetika social dengan pendekatan matematika realistic dan model belajarkooperatif tipe STAD di kelas VII. Metode peneltian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (development reserch) dengan model pengembangan 4-D menurut Thiagarajan dan Semmel. Adapun tahap – tahap pengembangan adalah define, design, develope dan disseminate atau diadaptasikan menjadi model 4-P yaitu pendefenisian, perangcangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.1dan VII.2 SMP Negeri 1 Pitumpanua semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017 / 2018 yang berjumlah 61 orangyang terdiri dari 29 siswa kelas VII.1 dan 32 siswa kelas VII.2. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, lembar observasi, hasil tes dan respon siswa. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kwantitatif. Hasil analisis data diketahui menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika materi aritmetika social dengan pendekatan realistic dan model belajar kooperatif tipe STAD yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran telah valid secara isi, konstruk, dan bahasa hasil dari validasi pakar apada tahap expert review dan uji prototipe pada tahap small group, sedangkan perangkat pembelajaran praktis dari hasil uji coba 1 sampai uji coba ke 4, efek potensial dari perangkat pembelajaran ini diketahui dari hasil pre-tes dan post-tes siswa. Hasil post-tes siswa pada kelas eksprimen 1 menunjukkan kategori nilai 17,24% baik sekali, 75,86% baik dan 3,45% cukup. Dari observasi yang sudah dilakukan, diperoleh persentase rata – rata aktivitas siswa diatas 92,6 % yang termasuk kategori baik, sedangkan rata – rata kemampuan guru dalam mengelolah pembelajaran 4,48 sangat tinggi dan respon siswa 92.19% sangat positif dan hasil post-tes siswa pada kelas eksprimen 2 menunjukkan kategori nilai 100 % baik . Dari observasi yang sudah dilakukan, diperoleh persentase rata – rata aktivitas siswa diatas 89,4 % yang termasuk kategori baik, sedangkan rata – rata kemampuan guru dalam mengelolah pembelajaran 4,45 sangat tinggi dan respon siswa 84.81% sangat positif
PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MATERI ARITMETIKA SOSIAL DENGAN PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK DAN MODEL BELAJAR KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD
The purpose of this study was to (1) produce a mathematical learning device for social arithmetic materials with realistic mathematical approaches and cooperative learning models type STAD in class VII, in terms of validity, practicality, effectiveness and knowing the potential effects arising from the development of these learning tools. (2) describe the characteristics of the learning tools of social arithmetic materials with realistic mathematical approaches and STAD type learning models in class VII. This research method is a development research with a 4-D development model according to Thiagarajan and Semmel. The development stages are define, design, develope and disseminate or adapt to the 4-P model, namely definition, conflict, development and dissemination. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.1 and VII.2 of State Junior High School 1 Pitumpanua in the even semester of 2017/2018 academic year which consisted of 61 students consisting of 29 students of class VII.1 and 32 students of class VII.2. Data collection techniques used are documentation, observation sheets, test results and student responses. The data of this study were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of data analysis are known to produce a mathematical learning device for social arithmetic materials with a realistic approach and a valid, practical and effective type STAD cooperative learning model. The learning device is valid in content, construct, and language as a result of expert validation in the expert review stage and tests the prototype at the small group stage, while practical learning tools from the results of trial 1 to the 4th trial, the potential effects of this learning device are known from student pre-test and post-test results. The post-test results of students in the first experimental class showed a good value of 17.24%, 75.86% good and enough 3.45%. From the observations that have been made, obtained the average percentage of student activity above 92.6% which belongs to the good category, while the average teacher's ability to manage learning is 4.48 is very high and 92.19% student response is very positive and the results of post-test students in experiment class 2 shows 100% good value category. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
