THE PERCEPTION OF BINUS UNIVERSITY CHINESE SPEAKING TEACHERS TOWARDS THE SPEAKING TEST QUESTIONS
In relation to teaching and learning language, speaking always becomes an important skill. Speaking
lesson has been designed as the main course in foreign language teaching and teachers have to master the
teaching method in class, and he must be able to design a standard speaking test to assess student capability in
speaking. In this article, the writer uses the theory of standard speaking test design, and combines it with the
result of interview with three speaking teachers of the Chinese Department, BINUS University. This is to analyze
the speaking test design and content. The result of the analysis shows that the important parts in speaking test
design are reading, questions and answers, and the narration. It is used to assess student’s expression,
communication, and the level of phonetic abilities For the test content, the three teachers think that the material
must be studied before and it is also possible to use small part from other materials outside the textbook
PENGARUH SURPLUS FREE CASH FLOW TERHADAP EARNINGS PREDICTABILITY DENGAN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI (Studi pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2016-2018)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris tentang pengaruh surplus arus kas bebas terhadap prediktabilitas laba dengan tata kelola sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2016-2018. Desain penelitian yang digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung dari variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen dengan variabel moderasi ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode purposive sampling dan dihasilkan sebanyak 100 perusahaan. Selanjutnya, untuk pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan model regresi data panel. Penelitian ini melakukan pengolahan data dengan menggunakan aplikasi EViews 11. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa surplus arus kas bebas tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prediktabilitas laba dan variabel moderasi proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran komisaris, ketua komisaris independen, kepemilikan institusional, dan kepemilikan manajerial tidak mampu memberikan pengaruh moderasi dalam hubungan surplus arus kas bebas dengan prediktabilitas laba.

Zhang Ailing is a heterogeneous novel writer in China literature’s history. Almost of her life, she already wrote so many literature’s works. One of her famous novel is (Red Rose and White Rose). The story is describe the image of main figure’s character and his emotional. Writer wants use the characterization, complexity of personality and story plot these three aspect to analysis the novel’s figure looks, figure character and the story. This novel story is a complication relationship between the man and two women, red roses as her lover and white rose as her wife. About a man that in his standard life and emotional condition occur some contradiction. Writer use reference material and theory of novel writing to analysis Zhang Ailing (Red Rose and White Rose)‘s novel. The result of this analisys are the most important part in novel’s story is not only about the story plot but also the describtion of figure looks and characterization. Zhang Ailing in (Red rose and white rose) descbribtion is very spesific, the story become so interesting because of the Complementary of the figure looks, figure characterization and story plot, embraced each other, fully reflects the fictional reality of compromise and frustratio
PELATIHAN KESANTUNAN DAN ETIKA BERBAHASA BAGI GURU DAN SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI SMPN 4 TERNATE
Dalam pembelajaran di sekolah, berkomunikasi dengan bahasa santun dan beretika sangat penting untuk digunakan oleh guru dan siswa. Namun pada kenyataannya, masih terdapat banyak guru dan siswa belum melakukan praktek sebuah komunikasi dengan tuturan yang santun dan tidak memperhatikan etika berbahasa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan kesantunan dan etika berbahasa bagi guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran di SMPN 4 Ternate ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman perihal kesantunan dan etika berbahasa dalam pembelajaran formal dan informal di sekolah. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 4 Ternate yang diikuti oleh 10 orang guru dan 10 orang siswa. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan yang dilakukan dapat dilihat dengan kemampuan guru maupun siswa dalam membedakan tuturan yang santun dan kurang santun dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru maupun siswa mampu menuliskan serta mempraktekkan secara langsung bagaimana cara bertutur santun dan etika dalam berbahasa seperti anak-dalam kalimat “anak-anakku sayang apakah kalian masih semangat belajar?” Atau tolong ambilkan tasku. Oleh karena itu, secara umum pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan wawasan guru dan siswa terkait dengan kesantunan dan etika berbahasa dalam proses pembelajara
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.
