Lu Xun zaoqi wenyan lunwen li suo tansuo de xin wenhua (The 'New Culture' formulated in Lu Xun's early classical-style essays)
This article links a number of the main themes expressed in Lu Xun's early wenyan essays, written in Japan in 1906-1908, with the concerns of the New Culture Movement, which emerged later (circa 1919) in China. The author argues that these book-length theses written in dense classical language were in fact intellectual precursors to the New Culture Movement and its aftermath. It delineates a partial outcome of the author's Australian Research Council (ARC) project on the early Lu Xun and his formative period in Japan
Kata kunci: Lu Xun; bangsa; revitalisasi Chinese literary works in the time of New Cultural Movement are interrelated with the reality of Chinese society at that time. The Effect of Interatomic Potentials on Nanometric Abrasive Machining
One of the major tasks in a Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulation is the selection of adequate potential functions, and if the potentials don’t model the behaviour of the atoms correctly, the results produced from the simulation would be useless. Three popular potentials namely; Embedded- Atom Potential (EAM), Morse and the Lennand-Jones, were employed to model copper workpiece and diamond tool in nanometric abrasive machining. From the simulation results and further analysis, the EAM potential was found to be the most reliable because it best describes the metallic bonding of the copper atoms and it demonstrated the lowest cutting force variation. More pile of atoms is observed during the phenomenon of ploughing and the potential and total energies are more stable with the EAM

Daoism in the Twentieth Century: Between Eternity and Modernity
In Daoism in the Twentieth Century, an interdisciplinary group of scholars explores the social history and anthropology of Daoism from the late nineteenth century to the present, focusing on the evolution of traditional forms of practice and community, as well as modern reforms and reinventions both within China and on the global stage. Essays investigate ritual specialists, body cultivation and meditation traditions, monasticism, new religious movements, state-sponsored institutionalization, and transnational networks.“This pioneering work not only explores the ways in which Daoism was able to adapt and reinvent itself during China’s modern era, but sheds new light on how Daoism helped structure the development of Chinese religious culture. The authors also demonstrate Daoism’s role as a world religion, particularly in terms of emigration and identity. The book’s sophisticated approach transcends previous debates over how to define the term ‘Daoism,’ and should help inspire a new wave of research on Chinese religious movements.” Paul R. Lu Xun, Mao Zedong, Perhaps a Badger
Urbanatomy has been running a series called “Why I Write” for the past several months, and we’ve noticed that when asked for their favorite Chinese author, many interviewees name Lu Xun (though Ian Johnson is a vocal dissenter). It’s likely that Lu Xun’s work will be known to even more non-Chinese speakers in the future, since Julia Lovell’s new translation of his complete fiction has hit bookshelves — read an excerpt from her introduction here, and see Jeff Wasserstrom’s review of the book here. So many decades after his death, why does Lu Xun remain one of China’s best-known authors, both at home and abroad? The answer, suggests Sean Macdonald, lies not only in Lu Xun’s talents as a writer, but also in the construction of “Lu Xun” as a cultural and political figure during the Mao era

This thesis tries to induce that Xun-Zi points out the "Sinful Nature" and "Etiquette" objectively.
Theveful "Sinful Nature" and "Etiquette" mutually exist on the base of an objective point of view
