The Study on Origin and Interpretation of “Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu”
No full text[[abstract]]劉義慶所編撰之《世說新語》一書，記載了秦末至劉宋初年間人物的遺聞軼事。其所涵蓋的內容旨趣甚為廣泛，因而向來被學人視為探索魏晉歷史、語言、文學、思想與文化的百科全書，於是形成學術界對《世說新語》的研究成果過於偏向原典文獻之探討，反而該書往前溯源與往後流播的研究成果相對而言是較被忽略。
職是之故，研究者試圖將視域轉換在「溯源與流播」的向度，在往前溯源部份，論述《世說新語》與《論語》的關係，這部分以《世說新語》中對《論語》之接受材料作為研究對象，透過全面的梳理與解析，試圖朗現《世說新語》中的《論語》身影，從中觀察《論語》對《世說新語》所產生的影響，探究《世說新語》如何接受《論語》，論證《世說新語》確為一部「新《論語》」之書，進而補強現行「世說學史」溯源之研究成果。
《世說新語》自從問世之後，後代無數箋釋批點的文獻如同涓涓細流，逐漸匯聚成「世說學」洪流，馳騁於文化的歷史長河之中，積累出的眾多接受文獻資料，值得深入探索。在往後流播部分，本文擇取劉辰翁、李卓吾、余嘉錫等人進行整理歸納，從而指出「會心」尚巧與「徵實」重真兩種不同詮解類型，期望這樣的研究視野，能對《世說》學史之拓深有所助益。[[abstract]]"Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu" written by Liu Yiqing records anecdotes of the characters from the Western Han Dynasty to the early years of Liu Song. Its content is very broad, so it has always been considered by scholars as an encyclopedia to explore the history, language, literature, thought, and culture in Wei and Jin Dynasties.Therefore,the research situation has been formed that the academic research on "Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu" tend to discuss the original documents. Instead, it is easier to overlook the forward traceability and backward spread of the book.
Therefore, the researchers try to transform the perspective to "traceability and spread" .In the part of forward traceability, the relation between "Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu" and "Analects of Confucius" has been discussed.This part takes the materials accepted from The "Analects of Confucius" in "Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu" as the research object.Through a comprehensive review and analysis, the researcher attempts to clarify the shadow of The "Analects of Confucius" of "Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu", observe the influence of the "Analects of Confucius" on the "Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu", discuss "Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu" how to accept the "Analects of Confucius",demonstrate that "Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu" is indeed a "new Analects of Confucius ", and then make up for the existing research results of the traceability of the history of " the Study of Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu ".
Since the advent of "Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu", countless commentaries of the offspring have become trickles, gradually converge into a torrent of "the Study of Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu " and gallop in the long river of culture and history.The accumulation of many documents are worth in-depth exploration. In the backward part of the spread, this article choose Liu Chenweng, Li Zhuowu, Yu Jiaxi and others to arrange and summarize, which point out that the "Knowing is Still Skillful" and "Consummation of Truth" two different types of interpretation. Expecting such a research perspective can help the expansion of the history of the "the Study of Shi-Shuo-Xin-Yu".[[note]]博

The Drafter of the Studies: Comments on Liu Qiang’s “An Introduction to the Studies on Shi Shuo Xin Yu”
No full text[[abstract]]本文為一書評性文章，旨在對劉強《世說學引論》一書進行介紹與評論。文章一開始先對劉強教授其人與著作略作紹述，隨後試圖闡發該書的殊勝之處。筆者認為該書的特點有二：（一）、「世說學」系譜的脈絡化（二）、「世說學」概念的顯題化。劉氏從宏觀的視角與多層面的進路擬構出《世說》學的研究藍圖，對於日後《世說》學的探索上提供了值得期待的研究願景。[[abstract]]This paper is a book review that purports to present and comment on Liu Qiang‘s―An Introduction to the studies on Shi Shuo Xin Yu.‖ It begins with a brief introduction of Professor Liu Qiang and his works, followed by expounding the intriguing aspects of the book. The author maintains that Liu‘s book has two distinctive features, i.e. contextualization and conceptual thematization. From macro and multi-dimensional perspectives, Liu Qiang outlines a research blueprint for studies on Shi Shuo Xin Yu, thus providing a grand vision for its future research

No full text본 논문은 2014년도 8월 21~22일에 열린 ' 동아시아 출판문화와 기록: 지식의 형성과 유통' 중 「전통시대 동아시아 서적의 출판과 향유 방식의 상관성」이라는 주제의 패널에서 발표된 것이다.In this study, I report on the circulation of Shi Shuo Xin Yu(世說新語) in East Asia from comparative perspectives. Shi Shuo Xin Yu was originally published in Wei-Jin and North-South dynasties and gained popularity in literary world, followed by publication in various forms through generations. during the Ming dynasty, Wang Shi Zhen(王世貞) published an augmented version, shi Shuo Xin Bu(世說新語補) which became even more popular than the original, reaching out to Joseon and Edo literary worlds. Since 17th century, it started to be published in Joseon and Edo, commonly based on Li Zhuo Wu Shi shuo Xin Yu Bu(李卓吾批點世說新語補). Between the two countries, the versions contrast in many aspects including the format, publisher, and reader group.
In Joseon, it was only published in metal types. There being almost no commercialization of books, it was accessible and circulated by limited class of writers. In Edo, two versions were published in late 17th century and many footnoted and commented versions bursted out from mid 18th century. Notably, they were all published in wood block for mass reproduction

No full text系統編號: PE10007-0494計畫編號: NSC100-2410-H343-011執行機構: 南華大學文學系研究期間: 10008~10107[[abstract]]本計畫以「《世說新語補》對《世說新語》的接受、傳播與衍異研究」 為題，以王世貞（1526-1590）於嘉靖三十五年（1556）刪定的《世說新語 補》為研究對象，置放於中晚明的文化場域中，採取文體學的研究視野，分 別從接受、傳播與衍異的角度入手，探討《世說補》在接受與傳播的歷時性 進程中，對再現《世說新語》經典過程中所產生的變異。 本計畫的論述要點有四：一是《世說新語補》的版本考述，留心《世說 補》版本的流傳系統，以版本為研究計畫的起點，涉及《世說補》刊行的時 代、版式，以及各刊本間形式與內容的校雔。二是釐析《世說新語補》刪定 《世說》與《語林》的法則，突出王世貞特重文學語體的「世說體」意識。 探討《世說新語補》如何接受《世說》與《語林》的文體特性，關注題材內 容的選取原則、.類目之設定以及文體性質之釐定。三是結構《世說新語補》 的傳播網絡，審視《世說新語補》傳播的功能、作用和影響，以《世說補》 的傳播，推動「世說體」範式化的過程，在明中晚期引起《世說》的熱潮與 續仿《世說》的巨潮，形成晚明時代特有的文化現象為論述的焦點。四是借 徑文學詮釋學，尋繹《世說新語補》對《世說》與《語林》在文體學上的衍 異。以王世貞刪定《世說新語補》的《世說》闡釋意識為主軸，在《世說補》 組合與聚合《世說》與《語林》的原則下，對《世說》文體的接受與重構， 變異《世說新語》特具的風姿加以探討，進而擴大明代「世說體」撰述的自 主性，開啟「世說體」撰述的創造性。[[abstract]]A Study on the Reception, Dissemination and Derivation in Shi Shuo (Xin Yu) Bu toward Shi Shuo (Xin Yu) This project, entitled “A Study on the Reception, Dissemination and Derivation in Shi Shuo (Xin Yu) Bu toward Shi Shuo (Xin Yu) ”, aims on the subject matter of Shi Shuo Bu, compiled and revised in Year of 35, Jia-Jing (1556) by Wang Shi-zhen (1506-1573). Placed within the cultural Field in the Mid and Late Ming Dynasty, this study, from the view of reception, dissemination and derivation through the research approach of stylistics respectively, attempts to probe into the diachronic process of the reception and dissemination in Shi Shuo Bu on the variation which was generated in the diachronic process of the representation of classics of Shi Shuo. There are four main arguments discussed in this study as follows: First, it aims on the topic of editions spread and textual research of Shi Shuo Bu to start with the research on its publishing age, issuing format and the variation of printing layouts and textual revisions of respective edition. Second, it attempts to clearly expound the rules of the deletion and revision in Shi Shuo Bu toward Shi Shuo and (He’s)Yu Lin, to highlight the awareness of literary genre of Shi Shuo Styles in Wang Shi-zhen’s, and to probe into the variance of the response-inviting on Shi Shuo Bu toward Shi Shuo from the view of reception aesthetics, concerning the formation of stylistic features, the selection of subject matters, and its classification of categories. Third, it is about to construct the spreading network of Shi Shuo Bu to examine the function, role, and impact of the dissemination in Shi Shuo Bu. Also, with its spread, it gives impetus to the process of paradigm-modeling in Shi Shuo Styles to cause a frantic enthusiasm of Shi Shuo and its sequel books in the Mid and Late Ming Dynasty, concerning much on the issues of the formation of the unique cultural phenomenon in the contemporary trend of thought in the Late Ming Dynasty. Fourth, it attempts to trace the derivation of stylistics on Shi Shuo Bu toward Shi Shuo and Yu Lin by means of the approach of hermeneutics. Therefore, in the end, it aims to give prominence to the interpretation consciousness of Shi Shuo Bu toward Shi Shuo, to survey the reception and the representation of stylistics of Shi Shuo Bu with the combination of Shi Shuo and Yu Lin, to explore the derivation of its unique stylistic features, and then to spread out the liberation of Shi Shuo Styles writing in the Ming Dynasty to enlighten the creativity of Shi Shuo Styles from then on
