THE STUDY OF ADVERB PHRASE IN THE ARTICLES OF FORBES INDONESIA MAGAZINE EDITION MARCH 2014 VOLUME 5 ISSUE 3
Get PDFThe main purpose of this final report is to identify adverb phrases in the articles of Forbes Indonesia Magazine. The writer wants to know the types of adverb phrase and the dominant type of adverb phrase in the articles of Forbes Indonesia Magazine Edition March 2014 Volume 5 Issue 3. The writer used descriptive method and documentation method for collecting the data. The data were collected by doing some steps. They are as follows: reading the articles in Forbes Indonesia Magazine, identifying the adverb phrases, classifying the kinds of adverb phrase, interpreting the data, calculating the frequency of each type of adverb phrases, determining the dominant adverb phrase in the article. The result shows that there are five types of adverb phrase namely adverb phrase of place, adverb place of time, adverb phrase of manner, adverb phrase with by plus a present participle and adverb phrase with a subordinating conjunction. The dominant type of adverb phrase is adverb phrase of place.

Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis as an approach in this study is to examine the meaning of a language with the process of meaning production and reproduction. The da'wah message contained in Ebiet G. Ade's song entitled "For Us to Think About" is a message about morals, namely remembering and inviting people to improve themselves and repent because all the bad things caused by human behavior will have a bad impact on both the man himself and himself. environment. Prediksi Nilai Kuat Lentur Kayu Tropis Berdasarkan Nilai Modulus Elastis
Get PDFDalam SNI 7973:2013, nilai modulus elastisitas statik kayu (MoEs) digunakan sebagai dasar pengelompokan mutu kayu. Nilai MoEs juga dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi sifat mekanika kayu yang lain. Penelitian ini melakukan kajian untuk mendapatkan persamaan yang dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi nilai berdasarkan nilai rata rata modulus elastisitas dan persamaan untuk mendapatkan nilai kekuatan lentur (MoR) berdasarkan nilai MoEsnya dari kayu tropis yang ada di Indonesia. Uji lentur statik dilakukan berdasarkan EN 408, sementara itu uji lentur dinamik dilakukan menggunakan metode stress wave velocity. Selain itu, data sekunder hasil pengujian lentur dari para peneliti terdahulu juga digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil analisis, nilai adalah sebesar 0,754 dari . Analisis regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa nilai MoR dapat didekati dengan persamaan = −1,359 + 0,0061, dimana dari persamaan ini dapat diketahui bahwa nilai desain acuan yang ada pada Tabel 4.2.1 SNI 7973:2013 cenderung memberikan faktor keamanan yang memadai. Pengujian lentur dinamik kayu menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara modulus elastisitas dinamik (MoEd) dan MoEsdapat didekati melalui persamaan = −1330,1 + 1,254 dengan koefisien determinasi () sebesar 0,69.

Structural Evaluation of Timber-Concrete Composite Floor Constructed Using Open Web Truss Joist Made of LVL Paraserianthes falcataria
Get PDFThe adoption of LVL (laminated veneer lumber) technology is significantly improving the potential application of Sengon wood species as structural components in buildings. Therefore, this study aimed to construct two timber-concrete composite floors using open web truss joist (OWTJ) made from LVL Sengon and a 60-mm thick of concrete slab, along with a timber floor without concrete for comparison. All floors shared a common dimension, measuring 6460 mm length, and 1000 mm in width. The non-composite (floor A) had a depth of 600 mm, while floors B and C had 660 mm, including 60-mm thick of concrete slab. In floor B, slab above OWTJ was constructed with cast-in-situ concrete, whille C was prefabricated and connected through 5/16 inch-diameter screws. All floors were subjected to a distributed water loading to 300 mm height, while floor A passed through creep test for a duration of 14 days. The results showed that floor deflection of all specimens was less than the allowable limits required by the design standards (1/360 of the floor length). Floor B yielded the smallest deflection at 3.82 mm, which was slightly higher compared to the predictid value by the numerical model (3.67 mm). Actual strain measurement through strain-gauge at some locations of floor B verified by the numerical model showed that both concrete slab and members of OWTJ were stressed below the maximum stresses. The results positively supported the new application area of LVL made from Sengon wood species in structural components, particularly as open web truss joist of TCC floor syste

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

According to the study's findings, DeFi has five maslahah: 1) Maintain religion (hifzu al-din); 2) Preserve the soul (hifzu an-nafs); 3) Preserve offspring (hifzu al-nasl); 4) Preserve the intellect (hifzu al-'aql); and 5) Preserve property (hifzu al-maal). These principles align with technology and the development aspects of the era of Society 5.0.
