    Abstract - PT. Bhagasasi Optimus is a supplier of prospective workers in the Lippo Cikarang area. In this case PT. Bhagasasi Optimus Sukses still experiences problems in data processing and recruitment of prospective workers who still use manual systems that are less accurate and safe so that data accumulation and data loss can occur. Based on this problem, it is necessary to design an application for recruitment of prospective workers at PT. Bhagasasi Optimus Sukses is website based. This design aims to provide solutions to companies in the process of recruiting prospective workers. Data collection methods such as interviews, observation and literature study, while the system development method using the Waterfall method includes software requirements analysis, design, programming, testing, support and maintenance. From the test results it can be concluded that the application design for the recruitment of prospective workers is in accordance with the needs of the company PT. Bhagasasi Optimus Sukses so that all activities that are carried out become better and produce optimal reports to meet the needs of the company. Berdasarkan maslah tersebut, maka diperlukan sebuah perancangan Aplikasi penerimaan calon tenaga kerja pada PT. Bhagasasi Optimus Sukses berbasis website. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi kepada perusahaan dalam hal proses penerimaan calon tenaga kerja. Metode pengumpulan data seperti wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka, sedangkan metode pengembangan sistem mengguanakan metode Waterfall meliputi analisis kebutuhan perangkat lunak, desain, pembuatan kode program, pengujian, pendukung dan pemeliharaan. Dari hasil pengujian dapat disimpilkan bahwa perancangan Aplikasi penerimaan calon tenaga kerja sesuai dengan kebutuhan pada perushaan PT. Bhagasasi Optimus Sukses sehingga semua kegiatan yang di jalani menjadi lebih baik dan menghasilkan report yang optimal untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Abstract - Switch systems have been widely used on switches found in every corner of the house as a control device. On and off switch systems that usually still use manual switches where the switch is a way of activation or deactivation is done by the user directly by pressing the on and off button on the switch. Some switches usually have switches that are located far from each other so that the house does not look like a factory where all the switches are put together in the control center to be more effective. In order for home lighting to be like a factory lighting system where there is only a control center but it is not visible, an on and off switch is needed using an application using an Android-based smartphone. Turning lights on and off uses electronic components called relays to turn on or control lights, not just electronic type lamps that have AC current or alternating current. Keywords: Lights, Remote control, Switch system, Smartphone Abstrak – Sistem sakelar telah banyak digunakan pada sakelar yang ditemukan di setiap sudut rumah sebagai alat kontrol. Sistem sakelar hidup dan mati yang biasanya masih menggunakan sakelar manual di mana sakelar adalah cara aktivasi atau penonaktifan dilakukan oleh pengguna secara langsung dengan menekan tombol on dan off pada sakelar. Beberapa sakelar biasanya memiliki sakelar yang terletak jauh dari satu sama lain sehingga rumah tidak terlihat seperti pabrik tempat semua sakelar disatukan di pusat kendali agar lebih efektif. Agar lampu rumah menjadi seperti sistem pencahayaan pabrik di mana hanya ada pusat kendali tetapi tidak terlihat, sakelar hidup dan mati diperlukan menggunakan aplikasi menggunakan smartphone berbasis Android. Menyalakan dan mematikan lampu menggunakan komponen elektronik yang disebut relai untuk menghidupkan atau mengendalikan lampu, bukan hanya lampu jenis elektronik yang memiliki arus AC atau arus bolak-balik. This study aims to be able to control warehouse security in real time remotely by utilizing SMS notification messages on mobile phones. Applying the prototyping research method, this research on warehouse monitoring systems with ultrasonic sensors based on the Arduino microcontroller is able to produce system security by providing hazard warning messages to warehouse supervisors. So that incidents of theft can be detected in a fast time.Semakin pesatnya kemajuan teknologi memberikan kemudahan bagi manusia. Hadirnya internet of thinks (IoT), mampu menyelesaikan masalah yang terkait dengan keamanan gudang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bisa mengontrol keamanan gudang secara real time dari jarak jauh dengan memanfaatkan pesan notifikasi sms pada telepon genggam. Menerapkan metode penelitian prototyping, penelitian sistem monitoring gudang dengan sensor ultrasonic berbasis microcontroller arduino ini mampu menghasilkan keamanan sistem dengan memberikan pesan peringatan bahaya kepada pengawas gudang.     “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
