Eklezjalny wymiar liturgii według Josefa Andreasa Jungmanna
Get PDFThe article presents J.A. Jungmann’s reflections on the ecclesial dimension of the liturgy. After presentation of how this author recognises the liturgy subject in the priestly Church community, his comments on the liturgy as an expression of the Church’s faith were discussed. Referring to history, Jungmann emphasises that from the very beginning, liturgical forms have usually had the community nature, and that the entire Church is activated in the liturgy celebration. The analysis of this author’s liturgical and ecclesial thought allows to put him among those who made a significant contribution to shaping the awareness that the liturgy is a celebration of the integrally understood Church community, as well as a specific expression and a standard of his faith, according to the bi-directionally understood old principle lex orandi – lex credendi.W artykule zaprezentowano refleksje J.A. Jungmanna, dotyczące eklezjalnego wymiaru liturgii. Po przedstawieniu myśli tego autora, odnoszących się do kapłańskiej wspólnoty Kościoła jako podmiotu liturgii, omówiono jego uwagi na temat liturgii jako wyrazu wiary Kościoła. Odwołując się do historii, Jungmann podkreśla, że od samego początku liturgiczne formy z reguły miały wspólnotowy charakter, i że w celebrowaniu liturgii uaktywnia się cały Kościół. Analiza liturgiczno-eklezjalnej refleksji Jungmanna pozwala uplasować go w gronie tych, którzy wnieśli istotny wkład w kształtowanie świadomości, że liturgia jest celebracją integralnie pojętej wspólnoty Kościoła, a także swoistym wyrażaniem i normą jego wiary, zgodnie z dwukierunkowo rozumianą starą zasadą lex orandi – lex credendi
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Get PDFAt the outset of the article, selected tendencies and phenomena encountered in the piety of the late Middle Ages – which directly or indirectly influenced the shaping of the liturgical life of the Reformation period – were briefly presented. Next, in the core part of the paper, two basic types of the Lord’s Supper liturgy, which were formed in the first years of the Reformation, were discussed: these are the so-called ‘Mass’ and ‘Upper German’ types. The genesis, the formation process and structure of the most significant prototypes of the Supper liturgy are presented without a detailed analysis of numerous rites modelled based on them. The final part of the article generally characterises the Reformation liturgies of the Lord’s Supper with an indication of their vital differences and similarities.W artykule najpierw zostały krótko ukazane wybrane tendencje i fenomeny, spotykane w pobożności późnego średniowiecza, które pośrednio lub bezpośrednio wpłynęły na kształtowanie się życia liturgicznego reformacji. Następnie w głównej części przedłożenia omówiono dwa zasadnicze typy liturgii Wieczerzy Pańskiej, które ukonstytuowały się w pierwszych latach reformacji: tzw. typ mszalny oraz tzw. typ górnoniemiecki. Przedstawiono genezę, proces kształtowania się i strukturę najważniejszych prototypów liturgii Wieczerzy bez szczegółowego analizowania licznych obrządków na nich wzorowanych.
