    Pemanfaatan Limbah Bulu Ayam Sebagai Kompos Dan NPK Grower Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Kubis (Brassica Oleracea Var. Capitata)

    The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of chicken feather waste compost and NPK Grower fertilizer on the growth and production of cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata). This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City. The study lasted for five months starting from March to July 2021. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design with two factors. The first factor is the dose of chicken feather waste compost, consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 150, 300, and 450 g/plant. The second factor is the dose of NPK Grower fertilizer, consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 7.5, 15, and 22.5 g/plant. There were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 of them were used as samples. If the calculated F is greater than the F table, the further test is continued with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age of shoot formation, age of harvest, plant fresh weight, crop weight, and crop circumference. The results showed that there was a significant interaction between the treatment of chicken feather waste compost and NPK Grower on observations of plant height, number of leaves, age of shoot formation, harvest age, crop weight, and crop circumference. The best treatment was chicken feather waste compost at a dose of 450 g/plant and NPK Grower 22.5 g/plant. The main effect of chicken feather waste compost was real on all observation parameters. The best treatment was chicken feather waste compost at a dose of 450 g/plant. The main effect of NPK Grower is real on all observation parameters. The best treatment for NPK Grower is at a dose of 15 g/plant

    The study aims to determine the performance of employees using three indicators which include teachers' perception of principal leadership, school organizational climate, and teacher certification benefits. Teachers' perception of the principal leadership was measured from the leader's capability to develop a sense of group togetherness, teamwork, group motivation, problem solving, decision making, and inter-member conflict resolution. The leader's ability to help improve efficiency for the purpose of role specialization, organizational activities, resource accumulation, and group preparedness to face the changes and crises, leader's ability to improve the quality of work life, to develop subordinates' confidence, to improve subordinates' skills, to help develop and prosper the subordinates' psychology. As for the variable of organizational climate, it was measured using the indicators of structure, responsibility, risk, reward and punishment, and warmth and support. Teacher certification benefit was measured from students' attitude toward and view on 10 assessments of teachers' professional experience. The variable of teachers' can be measured from their capability of planning and preparing instruction, their mastery of the subject matter to be delivered, mastery of instructional method and strategy, assignments distributed to the students, classroom management skills, and assessment and evaluation skills. The sample consisted of all teachers of SMP 3 Imogiri, Bantul. Quantitative data analysis was conducted using multiple regression technique and a qualitative analysis. The results demonstrated that teachers' perception of principal leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of SMP 3 Imogiri, Bantul Regency. Further, school organizational climate was also found to have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of SMP 3 Imogiri, Bantul. Teacher certification benefit was also found to have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of SMP 3 Imogiri, Bantul. The magnitude of influence of teachers' perception of the principal leadership, school organizational climate, teacher certification benefits amount to 0.861 or 86.1%. This means that teachers' performance was influenced by those three variables; teachers' perception of the principal leadership, school organizational climate, and teacher certification benefits by 86.1% while the remaining 13.9% was influenced or explained by variables other than those employed by the author. The variable with most positive influence on the teachers' performance was the teachers' perception of the principal leadership that amount to 4.926

    The Meaning Of True Happiness Of John Tyree Reflected In Nicholas Sparks “Dear John” (2006): An Individual Psychological Approach

    The major problem of this research is how John Tyree finds the meaning of true happiness in Dear John novel by Nicholas Sparks. The researcher uses an individual psychological approach by Alfred Adler. The objectives of the study are: 1) to describe how John Tyree find the meningof true happiness in Dear John novel, 2) to to describe the problems affecting the psychology of John Tyree in Dear John novel, and 3) to explain the definition of true happiness in Dear John novel. The researcher uses qualitative method. The researcher uses two data sources, namely: primary and secondary. The primary data source is Dear John novel by Nicholas Sparks. Then, the secondary data source is from websites, articles, biography of the author and some books that support the research. The technique of analyzing data is descriptive qualitative. Based on the analysis, the researcher found the meaning of true happiness by John Tyree in Dear John novel. The researcher concluded that the real happiness is giving priority to the happiness of those we love before our happiness, and willing to accept the risk of any kind has become our choices.     Pengaruh Kompos Limbah Bulu Ayam dan Pupuk Urea Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Kubis (Brassica oleracea L.)

    Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompos limbah bulu ayam dan pupuk urea terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kubis (Brassica oleracea L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Islam Riau, Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Agustus hingga Desember 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktorial dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis kompos limbah bulu ayam (K), terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu 0, 150, 300, dan 450 g/tanaman. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk urea (U), terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu 0, 3,75, 7,5, dan 11,25 g/tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi perlakuan perlakuan kompos limbah bulu ayam dan pupuk urea berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan lingkar krop. Perlakuan kombinasi kompos limbah bulu ayam dosis 450 g/tanaman dan pupuk urea dosis 7,5 g/tanaman (K3U2) memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik. Perlakuan utama kompos limbah bulu ayam nyata dosis 450 g/tanaman memberikan pertumbuhan dan produksi kubis tertinggi. Pengaruh utama urea dosis  7,5 g/tanaman menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan produksi yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan urea dosis 11,25 g/tanaman.
