    Influencing Factors on Household Electricity Saving Behavior (Naing Win, 2022)

    This study mainly pay attention to find out the influencing factors on intention to save electricity, and check the effect of intention to save electricity on electricity saving behavior. In addition, it tests the moderating effect of espoused individualism and faith in other on the relationship between intention to save electricity and electricity saving behavior. Both primary data and secondary data are referred in this study. Among the 33 townships in Yangon, 6 townships are selected by using simple random sampling method of first stage. 397 electric users are selected as the sample population out of 72,542 residents in selected 6 townships in Yangon by simple random sampling. Primary data are collected by using structured questionnaire with 5-point Likert scale. Among three influencing factors (attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behaviour control), the results show that subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have significant positive effect on intention to save electricity of the residents. Intention to save electricity has a significant effect on electricity saving behaviour. Espoused individualism does not have moderation effect on the relationship between intention to save electricity and electric saving behavior. Similarly, faith in others does not have moderation effect on the relationship between intention to save electricity and electric saving behavior. Residents should replace their old electrical devices with energy saving devices. They need to accept the advice of service technicians and install energy efficient devices if they want to switch to energy saving devices from tradition ones

    The advent of digital platforms has transformed consumer behavior in the jewelry market, presenting new dynamics and considerations for both consumers and retailers. This study examines the key factors influencing jewelry buying behavior on digital platforms. Through a review of existing literature and analysis of contemporary market trends, we identify crucial variables, including convenience, accessibility, product information, and trust-building elements such as customer reviews, product transparency, and secure payment methods. Customization options and price comparison tools empower consumers to make personalized and informed choices, while social media exposure and influencer endorsements create additional avenues for engagement. Furthermore, the growing importance of sustainability and ethical practices, as well as post-purchase services like resizing and repair, impacts customer loyalty and trust in the digital space. By exploring these factors, this study provides insights into how digital platforms shape consumer perceptions, preferences, and behaviors, offering valuable implications for both jewelry retailers and ecommerce platforms aiming to enhance customer experience and retentio

    INFLUENCING FACTORS ON CUSTOMER PERCEPTION OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE FINANCE SERVICES OF YOMA BANK (Win Naing Htay, 2019)

    This aim of the study intends to identify trade finance services provided by Yoma Bank in Myanmar and to explore the factors influencing on trade finance services of Yoma Bank. This study is based on primary data from respondents who are active customers of Yoma Bank, using random sampling. Among about 100 exporters and importers, 50 are asked by delivering paper questionnaires directly to them. The questionnaires are prepared by using five-point Likert scale to measure the five influencing factors namely; reliability, assurance, responsiveness, variety of products and tangibility of trade finance services available at Yoma Bank in Myanmar. The secondary data were gathered from various sources of previously printed research papers, text books and internet. All the data have been analyzed by using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). According to the survey data all of the findings regarding the customers’ perception on International Trade Services of Yoma Bank have the positive mean score. Among them, customers’ perceptions on Reliability factor get the highest mean score when the customers perception on Responsiveness factor get the lowest mean score. It can be concluded that most customers have positive perceptions on to International Trade Services of Yoma Bank. This finding is very useful for Yoma bank as it will assist with their innovative strategy in making effective decision on their trade finance services

    A Study on Chellenges of Oilseed Crops Production in Rural Area of Yenangyaung Township ( Ye Win Naing, 2024)

    This study analyzes the profitability of oilseed crops, the sources of technologies and market information, access to improved technologies and market, and the sales pattern of oilseed, and examines the constraints in cultivation in oilseed crops, and ways forwards to improving production and productivity of oilseeds of oilseed in the study area. A total of 152 oilseed crops farmers are interviewed and selected by using purposive random sampling method with structured questionnaires in Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region in 2024. Descriptive method is used in this study. It is found that oilseed crops farmers can earn more profit by getting information access, sufficient labor in cultivating, enough information access, getting market access, low transportation cost. The respondents also perceive that they have technological constraints, and constraints about agro-climate factors, economic factors, post-harvest, marketing and value-addition. It is suggested that the ways forwards to improving HYV seeds, applying chemical fertilizer after testing the soil quality, using modern farm related equipment like combined harvester, and arranging the workshop on oilseeds by the Agricultural Departmen

    The Effect of Human Resource Management Practices on Turnover Intention in Ayeyar Hinthar Trading Co., Ltd. (Myint Naing Win, 2022)

    The main objectives of the study are to examine the effect of HRM practices on turnover intention of employees and analyze the moderating effect of job satisfaction on relationship between HRM practices and turnover intention of employees in Ayeyar Hinthar Trading Co., Ltd. Both primary data and secondary data are used. Analytical research method is applied. Based on Yamane formula, 144 employees are chosen as sample out of 224 employees from Ayeyar Hinthar Trading Co., Ltd. Structured questionnaire with 5-point Likert scale is used to collect primary data. The study reveals that all HRM practices have the significant negative effect on turnover intention. It is found that compensation is the most effective factor on turnover intention. Regression result indicates that negative effect on the relationship between HRM practices and turnover intention when job satisfaction plays as moderating factor. By monitoring the talents and skills of employees, department heads or managers should give career advices and job rotations that are more suitable for the employees. Ayeyar Hinthar Trading Co., Ltd. should assign relevant tasks and responsibilities to employees according to their positions and skills. Finally, it should encourage employees to take some time off so that it will help to keep a healthy work life balance and avoid work related stress and burnout

    Land laws and procedures are a key factor in applying for land ownership and by understanding the land laws and procedures will one be able to transfer, divide and rename land. The objectives of the study are to identify land management system and land use administration in Myanmar and to examine challenges of application for land ownership in YCDC. In this study applied descriptive method and based on primary data and secondary data. This study found that most of the applicant of the land ownership does not know about the types of land. Most of the applicant has knowledge about the landlord's rights and land registered. The numbers of respondents were known about the legal and evidential about land application. It also found that there are many weaknesses in matters related to land laws. Therefore, it is suggested that the government or related organizations should create easier and faster ways to apply for land ownership and provide training on land laws
