KARAKTERISASI SOSIAL EKONOMI DAN RESPON MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN KARET DI HUTAN PRODUKSI JAWA BARAT
Get PDFIndonesia berpeluang menjadi produsen karet terbesar dunia karena masih tersedianya lahan dan tenaga kerja yang mendukung pembangunan kebun karet. Salah satu peluang tersedianya lahan adalah hutan produksi yang dikelola oleh negara. Dalam perencanaan pembangunan kebun karet sangat penting dilakukan analisis dari sisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat sekitar, sehingga keberlangsungan pembangunan kebun karet dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan meminimalisir konflik kepentingan masyarakat dengan lembaga masyarakat sekitar hutan produksi. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah menyajikan informasi mengenai kondisi sosial masyarakat sekitar hutan produksi yang akan dikembangkan menjadi kebun karet. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode survei dan memilih sampel secara purposive yang dilakukan di empat kabupaten yang berbatasan dengan hutan produksi yang dikelola oleh Perusahaan A yang akan dikembangkan menjadi kebun karet di Provinsi Jawa Barat, yaitu Kabupaten Sumedang, Majalengka, Purwakarta dan Indramayu. Di tingkat desa, pengambilan data menggunakan metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang melibatkan masyarakat sekitar hutan, pengurus Lembaga Masyarakat Desa Hutan (LMDH), dan perangkat desa. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode diskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada umumnya infrastruktur dan kelembagaan di keempat kabupaten sudah memadai. Adapun land use dan vegetasi di hutan produksi berupa tanaman Jati, Kayu Putih, Mahoni dan Gmelina, tanaman tumpangsari serta ternak sapi dan kerbau. Sejumlah 90%-95% penduduk merupakan penduduk lokal, dengan mata pencaharian 47%-90% di bidang pertanian sebagai petani-buruh tani dan belum memahami teknik budidaya tanaman karet. Analisis resepsi khalayak pada pemberitaan kasus kekerasan Novia Widyasari di kumparan.com
Get PDFAbstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui resepsi atau pemaknaan dalam diri khalayak terhadap kasus kekerasan seksual Novia Widyasari di Kumparan.com dan untuk mengidentifikasi posisi pemaknaan khalayak terhadap kasus kekerasan seksual Novia Widyasari di Kumparan.com. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis reseptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi partisipasi untuk pengumpulan datanya dan dilakukan terhadap khalayak pembaca kasus kekerasan seksual Novia Widyasari di Kumparan.com. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah enam orang yang merupakan mahasiswa yang tersebar di universitas di Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Untuk menguji keabsahan datanya, penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Resepsi khalayak terhadap berita akan diklasifikasikan dengan menggunakan teori resepsi milik Stuart Hall yang terbagi atas khalayak posisi dominan, negosiasi, dan oposisi. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa latar belakang pengetahuan (frame of knowledge) dan kebiasaan dalam bermedia memengaruhi bagaimana khalayak dalam meresepsi pesan. Sehingga interpretasi khalayak terhadap ke-3 topik terkait berita kasus kekerasan seksual Novia Widyasari, yaitu keputusan Novia Widyasari dalam mengakhiri hidupnya, labelisasi korban terhadap Novia, dan putusan hukum Bripda Randy menjadi bervariasi. Interpretasi tersebut pada akhirnya diklasifikasi menggunakan 3 posisi penonton menurut teori resepsi Hall, yaitu dominant, negotiated, and opposition position. Meskipun khalayak berada di posisi yang sama dari klasifikasi Hall, tetapi perspektif yang dijadikan acuan dapat berbeda. Hal tersebut bergantung pada latar belakang pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan latar belakang sosial.Kata kunci : Analisis Resepsi, Kekerasan, Novia Widyasari Abstract This study aims to determine the reception or meaning in the audience towards the Novia Widyasari sexual violence case in Kumparan.com and to identify the position of audience meaning towards the Novia Widyasari sexual violence case in Kumparan.com. The approach taken in this study is a qualitative approach with receptive analysis methods. This study used the method of observation and participation observation for data collection and was conducted on the audience of readers of the Novia Widyasari sexual violence case in Kumparan.com. The informants in this study amounted to six people who were students spread across universities in Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. To test the validity of the data, this study used source triangulation. Audience reception to news will be classified using Stuart Hall's reception theory which is divided into audiences of dominant positions, negotiation, and opposition. This research proves that background knowledge (frame of knowledge) and media habits affect how audiences perceive messages. So that the audience's interpretation of the 3 topics related to the news of the Novia Widyasari sexual violence case, namely Novia Widyasari's decision to end her life, the labeling of the victim against Novia, and Bripda Randy's legal verdict varies. The interpretation is ultimately classified using 3 audience positions according to Hal l reception theory, namely dominant, negotiated, and opposition position. Although audiences are in the same position of Hall's classification, the perspectives used as references can differ. Finally, she suicide at her father’s grave by drinking poison. The case eventually spread throughout the media, the online media Radarmojokerto.id and Beritajatim.com are no exception. Finally, the researcher is interested in researching How is the Framing Analysis of the Suicide Case of Novia Widyasari in Radarmojokerto.id and Beritajatim.com Online Media December 2021 Edition.
This study is qualitative research with Robert N. Entman’s framing analysis approach. The object of this research is news about the suicide case of Novia Widyasari in Radarmojokerto.id and Beritajatim.com online media December 2021 edition. To collect data, researchers used the documentation method, that is by copying the news that became the object into one file.
The study indicates that the framing analysis of Radarmojokerto.id and Beritajatim.com is different. Starting from Problem Identification, Radarmojokerto.id identified Novia Widyasari’s suicide case as a moral issue, while for Beritajatim.com it was a law issue. Causal Interpretation, according to Radarmojokerto.id, Randy is the perpetrator and Novia is the victim who has suffered a lot, so Novia is highlighted. Meanwhile, according to Beritajatim.com, Randy is the actor causing the problems. Moral Evaluation, Radarmojokerto.id’s moral assessment is focused on Randy as a police officer who is very unfortunate for his actions and also on the community’s sense of empathy for Novia. Meanwhile, according to Beritajatim.com Randy is considered to have embarrassed the institution and his family. The Treatment Recommendation by Radarmojokerto.id is a social movement to express the case of Novia WIdyasari. Meanwhile, Beritajatim.com recommends that Randy as the perpetrator be severely punished

Bunuh diri adalah sebuah perilaku yang menyimpang karena menyakiti diri sendiri hingga berujung kematian. Di Indonesia kasus ini termasuk sangat menghawatirkan, karena dari tahun ketahun jumlah orang yang melakkan bunuh diri semakin meningkat. Pihak kepolisian sudah pernah mencoba melakukan sosialisasi namun tidak efektif karna kurang minatnya masyarakat terhadap sosialisasi yang hanya berbicara didepan umum. Maka dari itu perlu dibikin sebuah film pendek yang dijadikan media informasi kepada masyarakat.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

perdebatan di tengah masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat bagaimana
konstruksi realitas perpolitikan di DPR terkait isu kenaikan harga BBM pada
pemberitaan harian Kompas dan Tempo.
Penelitan ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivis dengan pendekatan
kualitattif. Ada sepuluh artikel yang menjadi unit analisis. Analisis data dilakukan
dengan metode framing Zhondang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki.
Berdasarkan penelitan ini, terlihat perbedaan kosntruksi permberitaan
perpolitikan di DPR oleh harian Kompas dan Tempo. Kompas melihat kebijakan
politik yang dilakukan di DPR terkait naik tidaknya BBM berjalan lamban,
disebabkan oleh permasalah BBM yang memang bukanlah hal yang mudah

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
