รายงานวิจัย -- มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร, 2554The objectives of this survey research were to study the information use and information use's problems for Students' study of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The 230 Samples which were taken simple random sampling by dividing into programs, were students that had been studying at Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The data were collected by questionnaires "The Information Use for Education of Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon's Students." The results were analyzed by percentage, average value, and standard deviation.
The results were as follows:
1.Students had middle level in information use for education. For consideration of each aspect, students used information for education in every aspect at middle level. The most important aspect were information's up-to-date, the next was branch of knowledge, form of information, and information resources.
2.Students had middle level in information use's problems for education. For consideration of each aspect, students had information use's problems in every aspect at middle level. The most important aspect were information's up-to-date, the next was branch of knowledge, and information resources.

รายงานวิจัย -- มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร, 2560This research aims to study and to promote labor right awareness in career preparation for Liberal Arts Students, University Technology of Phra Nakhon. Interview and group discussion were used in this qualitative research. The sample was 12 of senior students from Faculty of Liberal Arts, University of Technology Phra Nakhon in second semester of academic year 2016. The research instrument was a structured interview.
The results were as follows: 1. All students were aware of labor right awareness in working time 8 hours a day and 1 hour of breaking time on weekdays. 2. Most students were aware of a weekly holiday at least once a week. 3. Most students were aware of the right to sick leave and to go for private business. If their leaves were 3 or more, a medical certificate was required. 4. All students were aware of the wages paid to employees were not less than the legal minimum wage. Most students were aware of the payroll calculation that can be calculated by the length of the work and paid per hourly, daily or weekly wages. 5. Most students were aware of the need for employers to provide welfare benefits as required by law. It is legal to place an announcement at the workplace of the employees. 6. Most students lacked awareness of the right to compensation in all cases; definition and conditions of compensation to be paid by the employer to the employee in case of termination of employment without offense under Section 119 other than that of other types of payers paid by the employer to the employee. Including normal and special compensation rates.
7. Guidelines to promote labor right awareness were through various media of universities, faculties and branches such as websites, announcement and including teaching on labor right in relevant fields.Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakho

รายงานวิจัย -- มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร, 2553.The objectives of this research were to study and to compare the information literacy level of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon undergraduate students by dividing into faculties and experiences of studying concerning information literacy subjects. The samples were undergraduate students in 9 faculties who were studying in second semester of academic year 2009. The 460 samples were taken a random sample by faculties’ stratification. The data were collected by information literacy test and mark record form which were four - level rating scale questions. The results were analyzed by percentage, average value, standard deviation, F-test, and t-test The results were as follows:
1. Most of all students had medium information literacy level. For consideration of
each aspect, students had ability in every aspect at medium level. The highest ability of students was to access the needed information effectively and efficiently, the next were the ability to determine the extent of information needed ; to evaluate information and its sources critically, and to incorporate selected information into their knowledge bases.
2. Students that learnt in different faculties had different information literacy with
statistically significant level at .01. Faculty of Business Administration’s students had higher information literacy level than Faculty of Mass Communication Technology’s students, Faculty of Architecture and Design’s students, Faculty of Home Economics Technology’s students, Faculty of Engineering’s students, Faculty of Science and Technology’s students, Faculty of Liberal Arts’ students, and Faculty of Industrial Education’s students. For consideration of each aspect, it showed that every aspect was different with statistically significant level at .01.2.1 For the ability of determining the extent of information needed, it showed that
Faculty of Business Administration’s students had higher ability of determining the extent of information needed than Faculty of Architecture and Design’s students, Faculty of Mass Communication Technology’s students, Faculty of Engineering’s students, Faculty of Home Economics Technology’s students, and Faculty of Industrial Education’s students.
2.2 For the ability of accessing the needed information effectively and
efficiently, it showed that Faculty of Business Administration’s students had higher ability of accessing the needed information effectively and efficiently than Faculty of Mass Communication Technology’s students, Faculty of Architecture and Design’s students, Faculty of Home Economics Technology’s students, Faculty of Engineering’s students, Faculty of Liberal Arts’ students, and Faculty of Industrial Education’s students.
2.3 For the ability of evaluating information and its sources critically and
incorporating selected information into one’s knowledge base, it showed that Faculty of Business Administration’s students had higher ability of evaluating information and its sources critically and incorporating selected information into one’s knowledge base than Faculty of Mass Communication Technology’s students, Faculty of Engineering’s students, and Faculty of Home Economics Technology’s students.
2.4 For the ability of using information effectively to accomplish a specific purpose,
It showed that Faculty of Business Administration’s students had higher ability of using information effectively to accomplish a specific purpose than Faculty of Mass Communication Technology’s students, Faculty of Engineering’s students, Faculty of Architecture and Design’s students, Faculty of Home Economics Technology’s students and Faculty of Liberal Arts’ students.
2.5 For the ability of understanding the economic, legal, and social issues
surrounding the use of information, and access and use information ethically and legally, it showed that Faculty of Business Administration’s students had higher ability of understanding the economic, legal, and social issues surrounding the use of information, and access and use information ethically and legally than Faculty of Mass Communication Technology’s students, Faculty of Liberal Arts’ students, Faculty of Home Economics Technology’s students and Faculty of Engineering’s students.3. The students who had different experiences of studying concerning information
literacy subjects, they had different information literacy with statistically significant level at .01. The students who had experiences of studying concerning information literacy subjects had higher information literacy than the students who had no experiences of studying concerning information literacy subjects. For consideration of each aspect, it showed that the students who had experiences of studying concerning information literacy subjects had different the ability of determining the extent of information needed; the ability of accessing the needed information effectively and efficiently; the ability of evaluating information and its sources critically and incorporating selected information into one’s knowledge base; the ability of understanding the economic, legal, and social issues surrounding the use of information, and access and use information ethically and legally with statistically significant level at .01. For the ability of using information efficiently in order to reach the objective was different with statistically significant level at .05, by means of the students who had experiences of studying concerning information literacy subjects had higher information literacy than the students who had no experiences of studying concerning information literacy subjects in every aspect.Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakho

รายงานวิจัย -- มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร, 2559This survey research aimed to study ethics of information uses and ethical perception of Faculty of Liberal Arts’ students, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. Sample group that stratified by fields was 309 undergraduates studying in academic year 2015 from Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The data collecting tool was questionnaire about ethics of information uses of Faculty of Liberal Arts’ students, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The statistic analysis used percentage and standard deviation.
The results showed that : 1. Students had totally ethics of information uses in medium level. It's considered each aspect, found that students had the most of ethics of information uses in aspect of information dissemination, followed by an aspect of information property and information accessibility.
2. Students had totally ethics of information uses in aspect of information accessibility in medium level. It's considered each item, found that the most item that students had ethics, was that they usually used their user ID and their passwords to log in the university’s internet system, followed by they usually used their user ID and their passwords into information searching system in databases.
3. Students had totally ethics of information uses in aspect of information property in medium level. It's considered each item, found that the most item that students had ethics, was that if they utilized pictures from books, journals, newspapers to compose their report or to publicize, they would cite to sources of pictures. And if they utilized articles from journals, newspapers, web sites, to content analysis as case study, they would cite to sources of content. 4. Students had totally ethics of information uses in aspect of information dissemination in good level. It's considered each item, found that the most item that students had ethics, they
usually avoided to use statement or pictures that was contrary to law and social good moral, for example; pictures of rove, false statement etc. followed by students usually avoided to use statement or picture that showed violation of privacy rights for example ; defamation statement, photomontage etc. 5. Students had the ethical perception involved to information uses in medium level. It's considered each item, found that the most item that students had ethical perception, was that the utilization of others academic papers for being parts of its own study, they had to cite sources every time, otherwise, it's considered that was illegal and unethical. Followed by the utilization of other words, or other interviews to compose its own report or its own presentations, they had to be allowed , otherwise, it's considered that was copyright infringement.Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakho

forms of students in Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon in Thailand
4.0. The sample was 380 students of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra
Nakhon, studying the first semester of academic year 2018.
The research instrument was a questionnaire. The results showed that the
students used information learning forms at a high level. Considering each item, the
students used information to generate the most reports. The students used information
for relaxation and entertainment, doing homework and knowledge exchange,
respectively. The students needed quality and specific content characteristics, the
source of information, respectively. Most students required the information source that
identified the source of the information or bibliographic information, written from the
author's direct experience, compiled data from various sources and up-to-date
information, respectively. Most students required content from academic or scholarly
authors, comments or ideas, and the concept or conclusion of the story. The students

รายงานวิจัย -- มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร, 2563The objective of this research was to study information behavior in digital environment of students from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon.
The sample was 387 undergraduate students from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon in the academic year 2019. The research tool was a questionnaire.
The results of the research were that the students aimed to find supplementary information for extra work, do report and research or project respectively.
Students had the process of searching for information in the following order : specify the topic; select or organize the information; survey information and resources; search information link and follow up with new information.
Most information behavior of students was searching from the websites such as Google, Yahoo and using link points on search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc.
Method for assessing information that students used the most was complete content and reliable information.
Method for keeping track of information that students used the most was from social media such as Weblog, Facebook, YouTube.
The information format that students used the most were pictures. And the action after obtaining the information that students used the most was validation and completeness of the content.Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakho
Expectation of Officials and Students to the Libraries’ Service Office of Academic Resource and Information Technology Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon
รายงานการวิจัย--มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร, สำนักวิทยบริการและเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ, 2552The objectives of this institutional research were to study and to compare the expectation of students and officials to libraries’ services, Institution of Academic Resource and Information Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, identifying by status by position, the officials’ office, and students’ faculties. The samples were teachers, officials, and undergraduate students of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon which registered on second semester of academic year 2008. The 680 samples were taken a random sample by stratification of samples’ groups. The data were collected by questionnaires which were five - level rating scale questions. The results were analyzed by percentage, average value, standard deviation, and F-test. The results were as follows: 1. Students and officials had high level expectation to libraries’ services, Institution of Academic Resource and Information Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. For consideration of each aspect, students and officials had high level expectation to libraries’ services in every aspect, the most average value was libraries’ services, the next was libraries’ environments, and information resources. 2. The questionnaires’ respondents who had different status by position, had different expectation to libraries’ services with statistically significant level at .05. The teachers had more expectation to libraries’ services than the students. For consideration of each aspect, the libraries’ environmental aspect was different with statistically significant level at .05. It showed that teachers and officials had more expectation to libraries’ services, environmental aspect than the students. And for libraries’ services aspect, it was different with statistically significant level at .05. It showed that teachers had more expectation to libraries’ services, libraries’ services aspect than the students. 3. Officials of different offices had different expectation to libraries’ services with statistically significant level at .01. For consideration of each aspect, It showed that every aspect was different with statistically significant level at .01. To compare of each couple, it showed that no couples were different. 4. Students of different faculties had different expectation to libraries’ services with statistically significant level at .01. For consideration of each aspect, It showed that the libraries’ environmental aspect was different with statistically significant level at .05, information resources aspect and libraries’ services aspect were different with statistically significant level at .01. The Faculty of Business Administration’s students had more expectation to libraries’ services aspect than the Faculty of Architecture and Design’s students. รายงานวิจัย -- มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลพระนคร, 2555The objective of this survey research were to study information retrieval on internet and and problems of the Faculty of Liberal Arts’ Students, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The stratified random sampling was 270 first semester undergraduate students of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon that were studying in academic year 2012. The research tool was questionnaire about information retrieval on internet of the Faculty of Liberal Arts’Students, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. Statistical research were percentage, median, and standard deviation.
The results showed that:
1. Each week, most students retrieved information on internet more than 6 times per
week and took average 1-2 hours each time. Aims of information retrieval were entertainment and recreation. Field of Tourism was the most retrieval i.e. tourist attraction, recreational area, hotels, festival season, and travel. The most information need format was text and pictures. Most students knew information sources on internet from search engines i.e. Google, MSN Search etc. The first ranking of search engines was Google, second were Bing and Sanook.
2. For information search methods, most students printed required terms into search box by using keywords. Besides, most students never used an advanced search. The most techniques of information retrieval was required results limit by specifying URL or websites.
The students had the most selective method of information lists acquired from information retrieved results of search engine by viewing from information title that used for search engine. Whenever students did not seek required information, they would retrieved continuously until they were successful by changing new search terms.
3. The most problems of students’ information retrieval were not to meet the required information, and not to know search methods and search terms selection.Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakho
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
