Physicochemical characteristics and dynamic charge mapping in thermally aged two-layered polymer considering surface states: experiment and simulation
Under operational conditions of high electric fields and elevated temperatures, the accumulation of space charges at multilayer insulation interfaces is often considered as an important factor affecting insulation performance. This study experimentally explored the influence of different thermal aging degrees (110 °C for 0, 720, 1600, 2100, and 2900 h) on physicochemical characteristics. The space charge dynamics in two-layered thermally aged PET-PET films were measured using the pulsed electro-acoustic (PEA) method and simulated on the basis of a one-dimensional modified bipolar charge transport model. The parameterization for key parameters involved in the model was analyzed through parameter sensitivity. Results indicated that the molecular structure, crystallinity, and dielectric spectra of the PET films are affected by thermal aging. The thermalization process also has noticeable effect on the surface state characteristics, which are characterized by deeper trap depth and larger trap density. Several experimental phenomena measured by the PEA method were observed on the basis of numerical simulation
SiMA-C: A Foundational Mental Architecture
AbstractCognitive architectures as frameworks for integrated computational models of the mind often focus on human reasoning capabilities, and sometimes are extended by theories of emotion. The SiMA-C approach starts with low-level mental processing and bases high-level process on its low-level foundation. With the aim of developing a unified model with functional equivalence to the human mind, descriptive concepts of perception, motivation, emotion, and cognition are translated into a functional model of data activation, valuation, mediation, and evaluation. The resulting SiMA-C mental architecture solves the problem of adapting an agent's decision on the current internal state (demands from bodily needs and norms) and the external environment (affordances) and hence mediates between them. Using the SiMA-C model in simulations of environmental-friendly consumer decisions gives an example of a concrete application
Research on control strategies of modular multilevel converter
In order to adapt to a low-carbon economy and social development needs, and to solve the energy and resource requirements in the reverse distribution, ultra-high voltage alternating Current and direct current transmission are developing in our country. At present, the mainstream of the high-voltage direct current transmission topology is modular multilevel inverter direct current transmission (MMC-HVDC). It will be get more application in ultra-high direct current transmission in the future. In this project, the main points in the study of MMC-HVDC are as follows. This project derives the basic operation principle of MMC and the mathematical model of the ABC three-phase MMC, and uses dq and αβ coordinate transformations to get equivalent mathematical model in dq and αβ coordinates. Further, in this project, PR controller concept is introduced which can implement AC for communication astatic tracking. It uses MMC system double closed loop internal control and the realization of active and reactive power decoupling control, on the basis of implementing the MMC output current of the reference signal of difference and rapid tracking. This can achieve better control performance. The project presents the PR controller design principle and control block diagram, and design of some key parameters. Finally, the simulations verify that the designed controller implements the good running characteristics of MMC-HVDC system

Sima Qian’s „Siji” as a Novelty in the Chinese Historiography
Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Sima Cjeņ „Vēstures pieraksti” kā novitāte Ķīnas historiogrāfijā.” Sima Cjeņ (135.g. – 86.g. p.m.ē.) ir visievērojamākais un ietekmīgākais senās Ķīnas vēsturnieks. Viņa „Vēstures pieraksti” tiek uzskatīts par bagātīgāko un kompleksāko darbu par Ķīnas vēsuri no senatnes līdz Haņ dinastijai.
Darba pamatmērķis ir padziļināti iepazīties ar „Vēstures pierakstu” apjomīgo materiālu un izvērtēt tā tapšanas priekšnoteikumus, apstākļus un novitāti Ķīnas vēstures pierakstīšanas tradīcijā.
Darbs sastāv no 6 daļām. 1.daļā aplūkota vēstures pierakstīšanas nozīme un tradīcijas Ķīnā. 2.daļā aplūkota „Vēstures pierakstu” tapšana un struktūra, analizējot arī Sima Cjeņ biogrāfiju šī darba tapšanas kontekstā. 3.daļā analizētas biogrāfijas kā jauns žanrs „Vēstures pierakstos” un Ķīnas historiogrāfijā. 4.daļā analizēti „Vēstures pierakstu” traktāti un tabulas, vērtējot to novitāti. 5.daļā ar Sima Cjeņ piemēru analizēta vēsturnieka kā personības nozīme darba tapšanā. 6.daļā aplūkots Sima Cjeņ devums nākamajām Ķīnas vēsturnieku paaudzēm.
Sima Cjeņ „Vēstures pierakstu” novitāte vispirms tiek saistīta ar jauna veida pieeju vēsturnieka lomai un notikumu fiksēšanai. Viņa „Vēstures pierakstu” struktūru kā paraugu izmantojuši Ķīnas vēlākie vēsturnieki. Sima Cjeņ izveidojis jaunu žanru – biogrāfijas (liedžuaņ), kas vēlāk tika plaši izmantotas Ķīnas historiogrāfijā un literatūrā. Arī Sima Cjeņ hronoloģiskās tabulas (biao) un traktāti (šu) saturiski ir jaunievedums, kas palīdz labāk izprast vēsturiskos procesus. Sima Cjeņ iezīmē jaunu izpratni pa vēsturnieka lomu: vēsturnieks nav tikai hronists, bet aktīvi darbojas faktu vākšanā, atlasē un noformēšanā.The title of this Bachelor’s paper is „Sima Qian`s „Shiji” as a novelty in the Chinese historiography”. Sima Qian (135 B.C. – 86 B.C.) is the most influential and respected imperial historian in China. His work „Shiji” („Records of the Grand Historian of China”) is acknowledged to be the richest and most complex book recording the history of ancient China up to the Han Dynasty.
The aim of this work is to examine the „Shiji” voluminous material and to evaluate prerequisites and conditions of its creation, as well as its novelty in the Chinese tradition of recording the history.
This paper consists of 6 Chapters. Chapter 1 deals with the tradition of recording history and the role of history in China. Chapter 2 looks at the the creation and structure of the „Shiji", as well as analyse the biography of Sima Qian in the context of writing this work. Chapter 3 analyzes the biography as a new genre in the „Shiji" and Chinese historiography in general. Chapter 4 analyzes „treatises” and „historical tables” of „Shiji" in terms of their novelty. Using Sima Qian as an example Chapter 5 analyzes the personal role of the historian in the creation of the work. Section 6 deals with the contribution of Sima Qian to the future generations of Chinese historians.
During the reseach the author has found that the novelty of Sima Qian`s „Shiji" is first associated with a new kind of approach to the role of the historian as well as a new kind of approach to recording events. Later Chinese historians have used the structure of his „Shiji" as a model for writing history. Sima Qian created a new genre - the biographies (liezhuan), which was later widely used in the Chinese historiography and literature. Sima Qian’s chronological tables (biao) and treatises (shu) are also an innovation that contributes a better understanding of historical processes. Sima Qian marks a new understanding of the role of the historian: historian is not only a chronicler. He also actively takes part in the gathering, selection and presentation of facts

ARTISTIC FRIENDSHIP AT THE MADOURA STUDIO: MICHEL SIMA AND PABLO PICASSO The article discusses numerous significant trends of 20th-century art and aims to complement the extensive sources concerning the activity of Poles in France. It focuses on one of the most important and now largely forgotten pottery workshop of the French Riviera, the Madoura Studio. The article discusses the artists connected with this site, their works and the influence of Pablo Picasso on the economic situation of Vallauris. It also explores the artistic friendship between Pablo Picasso and Polish artist Michel Sima (Michał Smajewski). It reveals obscure facts from Sima’s life and explores fragments of his abundant artistic legacy, which is stored in the private archives of his family. The author of the article makes an attempt to systematize and analyze Smajewski’s ceramic works and, most significantly, to demonstrate that he was not merely a man documenting Picasso’s creations but an important artist of the École de Paris in his own right
Simulation of Dielectric Barrier Discharge in Air Gap and on Solid Insulator Surface Based on Plasmochemical Model
The paper details the equations used to simulate a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) and presents a summary of the results obtained. A model for dielectric barrier discharge was divided into two phases, i.e., propagation in air and along the surface of a solid insulator. The microscopic essence of a streamer discharge was revealed and investigated using a detailed self-consistent plasmochemical model based on particle chemical reactions and hydrodynamics. The continuity equations of electrons, positive ions, and negative ions were coupled with Poisson’s equation. The chemical reactions described the impact ionization, charge transportation, electron-ion recombination, ion-ion recombination, electron attachment and neutral particle evolvement. The decisive effects of electron mean energy distribution on the rates of impact ionization by electrons and on the local characteristics of streamer discharges, are investigated. Electric field distributions are calculated and analyzed. The results indicate that ionization mainly takes place at the streamer head where a relatively large electron mean energy exists
Modified fractional logistic equation
In the article (West, 2015), the author has obtained a function as the solution to fractional logistic equation (FLE). As demonstrated later in Area et al. (2016), this function (West function) is not the solution to FLE, but nevertheless as shown by West, it is in good agreement with the numerical solution to FLE. The West function indicates a compelling feature, in which the exponentials are substituted by Mittag-Leffler functions. In this paper, a modified fractional logistic equation (MFLE) is introduced, to which the West function is a solution. The proposed fractional integro-differential equation possesses a nonlinear additive term related to the solution of the logistic equation (LE). The method utilized in this article, may be applied to the analysis of solutions to nonlinear fractional differential equations of mathematical physics

Herein, one of those who conduct activities of car rent is CV. Sima Transindo. In conducting car rent should be conducted a car rental agreement in order to anticipate the emergence of misconduct from the part of renter. This research discussed on how is legal implementation of CV. Sima Trasindo by the reason of mortgaging object is car by the part of car renter. In this research the method used
was empirical research method. The data used in this empirical legal research was primary data, whereas secondary data was used for supporting data. Data gained was classified and grouped and then qualitatively analyzed. The result of this research is legal protection to CV. Sima Trasindo as the result of rental object mortgaging has not been ruled yet in rental agreement that was made between the parties. However it is ruled in the Article 1235 to Article 1253 Civil Code on Agreement, Article 1365 Civil Code on the legal trespassing action and Article 1559 Civil Code on Prohibiting the existence of guarantee or mortgaging to other parties in this matter is used for complementary law that has legal authority and can be made as principles for protecting CV.Sima Trasindo from the existence of rental object mortgaging. The suggestion can be submitted by author is in order to guarantee legal protection to CV. Sima Trasindo, thus legislations on the risk are more supported and the part of CV. Sima Trasindo should be more selective in selecting customer in order there will not happen unwilling conditions

A study of youths with intellectual disability and traumatic brain injury showed no differences in receipt of transition services between minority and nonminority youths after adjusting for socioeconomic status. Informed occupational therapists can develop culturally responsive transition plans.
