Get PDFSince the advent of the Internet electronic business has had a growing impact on our everday life. It is interesting to note that most of the time goods that can be easily described and that are configured statically are on offer. Examples are books, CDs or home appliances. More complex products as cars, real estates, air planes or service level agreements are rarely dealt with. But highly configurable goods and services are vital for the business-to-business interaction. Nevertheless electronic contract negotiation on highly configurable products is scarcely found in theory as well as in practice. One possible reason can be seen in the huge space of possible product variants that is generated by allowing to configure even only a few parameters. Furthermore the complexity of the space of variants is increased by legal and technical restrictions. In this thesis the results of the research project Marrakesch are presented in detail. Marrakesch represents a flexible system for contract negotiation especially focusing on highly configurable products of arbitrary domains as well as a prototypical implementation. One of the contributions of this thesis is the design of a reference process for business transactions guiding demander and supplier through the phases of information, negotiation and execution. By applying different implementations to the single process steps several types of negotiation can be executed. Furthermore a twofold data model is developed especially suitable for representing configurable products in a compact and well understandable manner. To realize the main task of a marketplace which is matching demand against supply, two match making algorithms based on soft computing methods are presented with regard to the special requirements of the data model. Even in the presence of high numbers of complex demand and supply variant spaces they efficiently compute high quality results. Another contribution of the thesis is the creation of a negotiation schema based on dialogues as well as the concept of personalized configurators. Thus the overall concept of the Marrakesch contract negotiation system is a reasonable technical implementation of the customer interface to the management concept of mass customization.Der elektronische Handel über das Internet drängt immer mehr in unser alltägliches Leben. Dabei ist auffällig, dass vor allem einfach zu beschreibende, fertig konfektionierte Güter wie Bücher, CDs oder Elektrogeräte angeboten werden. Komplexe Produkte, wie Automobile, Immobilien, Flugzeuge oder umfangreiche Serviceverträge, sind kaum anzutreffen. Allerdings sind vor allem im zwischenbetrieblichen Bereich hoch konfigurierbare Güter und Dienstleistungen an der Tagesordnung. Es kann festgestellt werden, dass die elektronische Verhandlung von Verträgen, die komplex konfigurierbare Produkte zum Gegenstand haben, zum einen nur unzureichend erforscht und zum anderen auch kaum in der Praxis realisiert ist. Als eine mögliche Ursache sei die riesige Mächtigkeit der Variantenraums genannt, der durch die Konfigurierbarkeit schon weniger Parameter entsteht. Die Darstellung des Variantenraums wird durch Einschränkungen aufgrund von rechtlichen und technischen Anforderungen weiter erschwert. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschreibt umfassend die Ergebnisse des Forschungsprojekts Marrakesch, das ein flexibles Vertragsverhandlungssystem speziell für hoch konfigurierbare Produkte beliebiger Anwendungsdomänen konzipiert und prototypisch implementiert. Als wesentlicher Beitrag ist der Referenzprozess für Geschäftstransaktionen zu nennen, der Anbieter und Nachfrager durch die drei Phasen Information, Vereinbarung und Abwicklung führt. Durch unterschiedliche Realisierungen der einzelnen Prozessschritte lassen sich verschiedenste Verhandlungstypen umsetzen. Weiterhin wird ein zweiteiliges Datenmodell entwickelt, das besonders geeignet für die kompakte und verständliche Darstellung konfigurierbarer Produkte ist. Zur Erfüllung der Marktplatzleistung, dem Zusammenbringens von Angebot und Nachfrage, präsentiert die Arbeit zwei speziell auf das Datenmodell zugeschnittene Match-Making-Algorithmen, die auch bei großen Variantenräumen zuverlässig und effizient arbeiten. Als weiterer Beitrag ist die Schematisierung der freien Verhandlung im Dialog, sowie das Konzept des personalisierten Konfigurators zu nennen. Damit kann das entwickelte Gesamtkonzept des Vertragsverhandlungssystems Marrakesch als sinnvolle technische Realisierung der Kundenschnittstelle des Managementkonzepts Mass Customization angesehen werden
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

In the third chapter of the volume, results from testing and researching inclusive didactics in the context of university learning workshops are presented. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
