Interview with Suja A. Thomas, co-author, Unequal: How America\u27s Courts Undermine Discrimination Law
The recent spate of revelations about high-profile sexual predators who have been harassing and assaulting women, sometimes for decades, along with the #MeToo campaign, have drawn renewed attention to the pernicious problem of discrimination in the workplace. We speak about these issues with Suja Thomas, whose new book, with co-author Sandra Sperino, shows us how (male) judges have invented an entire body of jurisprudence to justify dismissing sexual harassment cases before they can even get to juries. Karya SUJA berbicara tentang transformasi kesadaran manusia dari sadar menuju alam bawah sadar. Ndadi umumnya terjadi pada pertunjukan Jathilan. Dalam penciptaan karya tari SUJA penata memfokuskan karya pada transformasi perubahan alam bawah sadar yang menimbulkan ndadi. Pada dasarnya kesuksesan kesenian Jathilan berujung pada ndadi. Ndadi dalam kesenian rakyat Jathilan adalah point utama kesenian tersebut, tetapi di balik itu semua ada hal yang perlu kita perhatikan, bahwa tidak hanya persoalan sadar dan tidak sadar dalam kesenian tersebut, transformasi perubahan kesadaran manusia juga sangat penting, begitu juga dengan transisi perpindahan bentuk gerak satu ke gerak yang lain. Rangsang yang digunakan adalah rangsang kinestetik dan gagasan. Kedua rangsang ini menjadi acuan berfikir untuk proses penciptaan karya tari SUJA. Rangsang kinestetik untuk menemukan motif baru melalui gerak tangan, torso, dan kaki yang diamati dari kesenian Jathilan. Rangsang gagasan untuk menentukan dramatik dan dinamika, alur dalam sebuah garapan karya tari SUJA. Tipe tari yang digunakan dalam koreografi ini adalah tipe dramatik dengan menggunakan proses penciptaan karya tari melalui tahapan metode dari Hawkins dalam buku berjudul Mencipta Lewat Tari yang diterjemahkan oleh Y. Sumandiyo Hadi yaitu, eksplorasi, improvisasi, komposisi, dan evaluasi. Metode ini diterapkan dalam proses penciptaan karya tari SUJA. Metode lain juga digunakan seperti merasakan, mengahayati, mengkhayalkan, mengejawantahkan, dan memberi bentuk, dari buku berjudul Bergerak Menurut Kata Hati yang diterjemahkan oleh I Wayan Dibia. Metode ini digunakan pada proses awal dengan melihat secara langsung hingga menjadi penari kesenian rakyat jathilan. Secara personal karya tari SUJA ini bertujuan memberi pesan pada masyarakat, bahwa kesenian rakyat Jathilan tidak hanya sebagai kesenian rakyat pinggiran yang dipandang sebelah mata. Namun, di balik itu semua masih banyak sekali ide yang bisa diolah secara kreatif dari kesenian tersebut untuk melahirkan karya yang inovatif dan menjadi sumber riset yang sangat kaya

As estratégias conversacionais no diálogo construído de Plínio Marcos, Dois perdidos numa noite suja
Este trabalho tem por objetivo identificar as estratégias conversacionais utilizadas
pelas personagens do diálogo de ficção. O corpus selecionado contém diálogos retirados da
peça de Plínio Marcos, Dois perdidos numa noite suja, onde destacamos os esquemas
conversacionais que as personagens utilizam para interagirem nas mais variadas situações
comunicativas.
Dois perdidos numa noite suja é uma obra ficcional em que os diálogos foram
construídos com recursos da língua oral. O texto retrata a vida de duas personagens com
poucos recursos financeiros, que sofrem com as diferenças sociais e vivem em um ambiente
hostil.
Para realçar o sentimento de revolta, inconformismo e o ódio que as personagens
sentem, o autor utiliza recursos lingüísticos que aproxima o texto ficcional da realidade,
dando maior ênfase as emoções.
Assim, por meio dos diálogos selecionados, podemos afirmar que os diálogos de
ficção podem fornecer-nos exemplos expressivos de interação, aproximando-se de uma
conversação naturalThis work has the intention of identifying the strategies used by the characters of a
constructed dialog. The selected corpus contains dialogs between characters from the play
of playwright Plínio Marcos, Dois perdidos numa noite suja (Both lost in a dirty night).
Here we pointed in the dialogs the conversational schemas that the caracthers use to interact
with their in the most diversified conversational situations.
Dois perdidos numa noite suja (Both lost in a dirty night) is a play fiction,
elaborated with devices from spoken language. The text show two characters life that have
fiwest economic resorces, have suffers with the social differences and live a life in a
hostile way.
To highlight the feelings like rebilion, non-conformism and hate, that the
characthers fiils the author employs devices that produce effects bringing the fictional text

Dirty Night), written in 1966 by playwright Plínio Marcos, seeking to understand its history,
the process of its creation, the plot, its characters, language, the themes raised in the
work, relating all these aspects with the political, cultural and social historical moment in
which the play was produced. For this, I reflect on the time when Plínio Marcos wrote his
work, its history, the experiences and life experiences in different areas, covering your
contacts and interaction with various social groups, his theatrical training, the groups
frequented by him that influenced his production and the relationship of the author with the

IMPLEMENTATION IMPACT OF THE TRIPLECHEM LEARNING MODEL ON PERSONAL AND SOCIAL ATTITUDES OF CHEMISTRY PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS
This study was aimed at describing and explaining the impact of the application of TripleChem learning model to the personal and social attitude of chemistry prospective teacher. The study was conducted in three classes of Organic Chemistry I at the Chemistry Education Department of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha in the odd semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. Each class consists of 22 students. In each class, learning is done by applying the TripleChem learning model. The data were collected by two observers using the observation sheet. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The results indicate that the personal and social attitudes of prospective teachers have increased gradually until it reaches the optimum condition around the eight meeting. The findings suggest that the TripleCem learning model is effectively implemented to train the personal and social attitudes of chemistry prospective teachers.</jats:p

MODEL MENTAL MAHASISWA CALON GURU KIMIA DALAM MEMAHAMI BAHAN KAJIAN STEREOKIMIA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menentukan distribusi model mental mahasiswa calon guru kimia dalam memahami bahan kajian Stereokimia, serta (2) mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi khusus (specific misconceptions) dan model mental alternatif yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa calon guru kimia. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia FMIPA UNDIKSHA yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah Kimia Organik III di Kelas C Semeter V pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Jumlah subyek penelitian sebanyak 28 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes hasil belajar berbentuk pilihan ganda dua tingkat, terdiri dari bagian isi dan bagian alasan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, (1) model mental mahasiswa calon guru kimia dalam memahami bahan kajian Stereokimia adalah: tidak ada konsep (20,71%), miskonsepsi spesifik (33,04%), model mental alternatif (12,50%), dan benar secara ilmiah (33,75%); serta (2) miskonsepsi tertinggi (92,86%) terjadi pada penentuan konfigurasi (R/S) senyawa berdasarkan proyeksi Newman, dan model mental alternatif tertinggi (32,14%) pada penggambaran proyeksi Fischer stereoisomer yang diketahui konfigurasi absolutnya
