An Analysis of the Impact of Implementing Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 on Medical Records on the Quality of Healthcare Services
Get PDFBackground: Healthcare quality is a key indicator in assessing the performance of health systems worldwide, and medical record management plays a crucial role in achieving high-quality healthcare. Objective: This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 on medical records on healthcare quality. Research Methods: This study employs a cross-sectional design with a sample of 120 healthcare workers. Data were collected through questionnaires and medical record audits, then analyzed using univariate analysis for data description and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square. Results: Most respondents at RS Grandmed Lubuk Pakam were aware of Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 (85%), but only 72% felt its implementation was effective. Healthcare quality was generally satisfactory (83.3%), though there were some errors in medical records (11.7%). The analysis revealed a significant relationship between the implementation of the regulation and healthcare quality (? = 0.478, p = 0.002). Training for healthcare workers and available infrastructure had a significant impact on healthcare quality, while work experience did not. Conclusion: The implementation of Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 at RS Grandmed Lubuk Pakam has a positive impact on healthcare quality, despite challenges related to infrastructure and training. The policy has improved patient satisfaction but requires further improvements in facilities, training, and time management for greater effectiveness. Routine evaluation is necessary to ensure the continued enhancement of healthcare quality
Evaluation of the Effectiveness of a Clinical Pathway Based on Interprofessional Collaboration in the Treatment of Acute Heart Failure
Get PDFAcute heart failure is a medical emergency that requires a multidisciplinary approach to improve patient outcomes. An interprofessional collaboration-based Clinical Pathway has been implemented as a strategy to enhance treatment effectiveness, accelerate clinical decision-making, and reduce care variation. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing an interprofessional collaboration-based Clinical Pathway in the management of acute heart failure in hospitals. This research uses a literature review approach by analyzing various recent journals discussing Clinical Pathway and acute heart failure management. The study results show that the implementation of Clinical Pathway can improve treatment efficiency, reduce complications, and accelerate patient recovery time. In conclusion, the integration of an interprofessional collaboration-based Clinical Pathway is an effective approach to improving the quality of care for patients with acute heart failure. This research method uses a retrospective cohort study approach with analysis of medical record data from patients treated in the last five years. The study population consisted of patients diagnosed with acute heart failure, with sample selection carried out using a purposive sampling method. Data collected includes length of stay, complication rates, compliance with clinical guidelines, and level of patient satisfaction. Data analysis was carried out with descriptive and inferential statistics using the chi-square test and logistic regression. The research results show that implementingthe Clinical Pathway can increase treatment efficiency, reduce complication rates, and speed up patient recovery time. Implementation of the Clinical Pathway also has a positive impact on health workers' compliance with standard therapy guidelines and improves communication and coordination between health professionals in patient management. Additionally, patients treated with Clinical Pathway reported higher levels of satisfaction compared to the control group who received conventional care

Get PDFBackground: Medical records are crucial documents in the healthcare system, as they contain all information related to a patient’s health, which can influence medical decision-making and support the quality of care and patient safety. Proper and standardized medical record documentation will facilitate the flow of services and minimize medical errors. Therefore, healthcare workers' compliance with medical record documentation standards is essential to enhance service efficiency in hospitals. Objective: This study aims to analyze the impact of healthcare workers' compliance with medical record documentation standards based on Minister of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 on service efficiency at RS Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. Methods: This research uses a quantitative descriptive correlational approach with purposive sampling technique involving 50 respondents, consisting of healthcare workers involved in medical record documentation. Data was collected using closed-ended questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression to determine the impact of compliance on service efficiency. Results: The findings show a strong positive relationship between medical record documentation compliance and service efficiency (r = 0.684; p = 0.000), with compliance contributing 46.8% to the improvement of service efficiency. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between healthcare workers' compliance with medical record documentation standards and service efficiency at RS Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. Compliance with medical record documentation contributes 46.8% to the improvement of service efficiency. Therefore, it is recommended that the hospital enhance training for healthcare workers, conduct regular supervision, and implement an electronic medical record system to support the improvement of service quality and efficiency in the hospital's service flow. Therefore, it is recommended that the hospital increase training, routine supervision, and the implementation of an electronic medical record system to further enhance the quality of care and service efficiency

Get PDFThe World Health Organization (WHO) has identified the importance of applying vigilance among health workers in all actions to prevent an increase in health care-associated infections (HAI). The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is one of the important issues in the medical world that is often neglected in its use. This study aims to analyze the determinants of nurse compliance in the use of PPE. Quantitative research with analytical survey design. Respondents in this study were all 62 nurses who used target sampling with Chi-Square test and continued with multiple logistic regression test. The results showed that there was an effect of knowledge (p = 0.002), risk perception (p = 0.009), and workload (p = 0.007) on nurses' compliance in using PPE. Knowledge is 4 times more effective for nurses who are obedient to PPE. It is expected that the hospital will provide knowledge and skills training to nurses by providing education and training on the use of PPE on a regular basis

are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
