    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan memahami siswa SMA melalui model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan Technology Based Constructivist Teaching (TBCT) dan mengetahui gambaran sikap siswa setelah mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan TBCT. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-postest control group design . Subyek penelitian adalah siswa SMA kelas XI sebanyak 67 orang yang terbagi ke dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan TBCT sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan Constructivist Teaching (CT). Pengukuran kemampuan memahami menggunakan instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda pada materi gelombang mekanik sedangkan untuk mengukur sikap terhadap pembelajaran fisika menggunakan instrumen skala sikap yang terdiri dari beberapa pernyataan menggunakan skala likert. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan memahami dengan perolehan skor rata-rata gain yang dinormalisasi untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,51 berkategori sedang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,33. Hasil uji beda rerata menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan TBCT secara signifikan dapat lebih meningkatkan kemampuan memahami siswa daripada penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan CT. Hampir keseluruhan siswa memberikan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan TBCT. ; This study aims to determine the increase in the understanding achievment and knowing Response Profile Student in senior high school students through the Learning Cycle 7E model using TBCT Approach. Quasi-experimental research has been done on the 7E Learning Cycle using TBCT. This study uses a pretest-posttest control group design. The participants were 67 high school students of eleventh grade that were divided into experimental class and control class. Markedly, experimental class applying the Learning Cycle 7E through TBCT approach, while control class applying the 7E Learning Cycle through Constructivist Teaching approach (CT). Measurement of the understanding achievment using multiple choice test instrument on mechanical wave material and attitude scale using likert scale instrument. The findings show the increase of the understanding achievment of the experimental class is in the amount of 0.51 was higher than the control class that is in the amount of 0.33. The results of this study showed that the application of Learning Cycle 7E model using TBCT approach significantly improve the understanding achievment rather than the application of the Learning Cycle 7E model using CT approach. In general, most of the students perform positive feedback towards the application of Learning Cycle 7E model using TBCT approach

    Sikap siswa memiliki peranan penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Ketika siswa memiliki sikap positif dalam mengikuti pelajaran, maka pada umumnya akan berpengaruh positif juga pada kesuksesan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadaap Pembelajaran Fisika dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan Technology Based Constructivist Teaching (TBCT). Model pembelajaran ini memadukan pembelajaran konstruktivis dengan teknologi. Teknologi yang digunakan berupa simulasi interaktif dari Phet dan Video dari Physclips pada materi gelombang mekanik. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 34 orang siswa kelas XI MIA di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Garut. Hasil Penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat respon sikap positif selama mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan pendekatan TBCT yaitu diatas 70% untuk semua aspek

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesiapan orangtua siswa dalam mendukung pembelajaran ketika diberlakukan Study From Home di masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode kualitatif-deskriptif melalui survey dengan menggunakan angket google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Orangtua memiliki ketertarikan yang positif terhadap pembelajaran daring, (2) Sebanyak 80% menyatakan memiliki fasilitas yang memadai dalam pembelajaran daring, (3) Sebanyak 68% menyatakan melakukan pendampingan dalam pembelajaran daring, (4) Sebanyak 34% menyatakan metode yang dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran daring adalah pemberian materi dalam bentuk soft file atau tugas.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    Expert Validation: A Critical Phase in the Development of ARIPSA

    The study aims to create an evaluative examination for problem-solving skills that incorporates Augmented Reality (AR) technology as a means of enhancing 21st-century education, with a specific focus on the domain of physics education. The tool, referred to as ARIPSA (Augmented Reality Integrated on Problem Solving Assessment), has been developed utilising the Borg and Gall research and development methodology. This research encompasses various significant stages, including an analysis of educational needs, the design of applications, as well as the development, dissemination, and deployment of those applications. The process of validation involves the participation of individuals with expertise in physics and technology, who evaluate the application to ascertain its efficacy and dependability. Additionally, they assess the quality of the physics-related information offered within the application. The validation findings suggest that ARIPSA demonstrates appropriateness and efficacy in an educational setting, particularly in enhancing students' problem-solving abilities
