    The low survival rate and size non-uniformity in giant freshwater prawns become a problem in the development of cultivation. This study aims to determine changes in survival rates and uniformity in the size of giant prawns fed with the addition of banana peel flour. This study uses five types of feed added 0; 2.5; 5; 7.5 and 10% banana peel flour in feed composition. Each treatment is carried out three repetitions. The density of giant prawns is 10 fish/aquarium. The observed parameters were the survival rate, length and weight of giant prawns periodically for 60 days. The results showed that all feed treatments with the addition of banana peel flour resulted in increased survival rates and uniformity in size. The best results were obtained in giant prawns fed with the addition of 5% banana peel flour by weight of the feed. The conclusion of this study is that the survival rate and optimal size uniformity are enhanced by the addition of 5% banana peel flour in the feed.  Keywords: banana peel meal, giant freshwater prawns, survival rate, uniformity of siz

    ABSTRACT The objective of the research was to design and test the sorting machine of \u27duku\u27 fruit. The sorting machine was able to sort the fruit into three grades by means of principle of inclined plane and exploiting of mechanical vibration. Machine components consist of frame, hopper, sorting rack, part of output, source of power, transmission and vibrator. Uniformity of the sorting results varied, i.e., grade A equal to 100 %, grade B equal to 50.1 % and grade C equal to 80.1 %.     ABSTRACT The objective of this paper is to analyze measurement error of heat conductivity of organic solid waste (paddy chaf). Error analyze is to obtain accuration of the measured result. Visual Basic Applications (VBA) on excel was used in simulation. The result showed that heat conductivity of paddy chaf is 0,501 W/mK with error 0,00936 W/mK. Hipertensi membutuhkan penanganan yang tepat, baik dari segi farmakologis maupun non farmakologis. Terapi non farmakologis sudah banyak dikembangkan di luar negeri dan menjadi intervensi pendamping yang dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti pengobatan konvensional. BPOM menetapkan 9 tanaman obat unggulan yang telah diuji secara klinis yaitu sambiloto, jambu biji, jati belanda, cabe jawa, temulawak, jahe merah, kunyit, mengkudu dan salam. Daun salam mengandung flavonoid yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan yang mampu mencegah terjadinya oksidasi sel tubuh. Kandungan flavonoid pada daun salam dapat digunakan untuk mencegah terjadinya hipertensi.Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian rebusan daun salam terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di Desa Purwosari dan Desa Sunggingan Wilayah Puskesmas Purwosari Kudus.Metode: Jenis penelitian quasi experiment design dengan pendekatan non equivalent control group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua penderita hipertensi di Desa Purwosari dan Desa Sunggingan Wilayah Puskesmas Purwosari Kudus bulan April – Mei 2017 berjumlah 56 orang, dengan sampel penelitian 36 orang. Variabel independennya pemberian rebusan daun salam, dan variabel dependennya perubahan tekanan darah. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon.Hasil Penelitian: Hasil uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai p value = 0,001 pada tekanan darah sistole dan nilai p value = 0,005 pada tekanan darah diastole antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi sesudah diberikan perlakuan.Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh pemberian rebusan daun salam terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di Desa Purwosari dan Desa Sunggingan Wilayah Puskesmas Purwosari Kudus.Kata Kunci : Rebusan Daun Salam, Perubahan Tekanan Darah Abstract Background: Hypertension is often referred to as "silent killer" because it rarely shows signs and if suffered in the long term can cause various complications. Hypertension requires appropriate treatment, both in pharmacological and nonpharmacological terms. Non-pharmacological therapy has been widely developed abroad and became a companion intervention that can be used as a substitute for conventional medicine. BPOM assigned 9 leading medicinal plants that have been tested clinically namely sambiloto, guava, jati dutch, chilli java, temulawak, red ginger, turmeric, mengkudu and greetings. The bay leaves contain flavonoids that act as antioxidants that can prevent the occurrence of cell oxidation. The content of flavonoids in bay leaves can be used to prevent the occurrence of hypertension.Objective: Knowing the effect of bay leaf decoction on changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients in Purwosari Village and Sunggingan Village Purwosari Kudus Puskesmas Area.Methods: Type of quasi experiment design with non-equivalent control group approach. The population of this study were all patients of hypertension in Purwosari Village and Sunggingan Village Purwosari Kudus District Health Center in April - May 2017 amounted to 56 people, with a sample of 36 people. Independent variables of bay leaves decoction, and the dependent variable of blood pressure changes. Data analysis using Wilcoxon test.Results: Wilcoxon test results obtained p value = 0.001 on blood pressure systole and p value =0.005 at diastole blood pressure between the control group and intervention group after treatment. Conclusion: There is influence of bay leaves decoction on changes in blood pressure in patients with hypertension in the village Purwosari and Sunggingan Village Purwosari Kudus Puskesmas.Keywords: Decoction of bay leaves, changes in blood pressure

    VALIDASI PERSAMAAN BATAS KERUSAKAN MANGGA ARUMANIS BERDASARKAN ZERO MOMENT POWER

    The objectives of this research were to validate the border equation of arumanis mangoes damage caused by fruit fly using zero moment power (Mo) number. The method is based on measurement of zero moment power ultrasonic wave in arumanis mangoes. Results showed that mean of Mo number normal arumanis mangoes was 4,58 and Mo number arumanis mangoes damage caused by fruit fly was 6,40. Prediction equation was Mo number more than 5,60  for normal mango and Mo number less than or same 5,60 for mangoes invested by fruit fly.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
