THE LAI STUDIES OF WANG RONG-FU
No full text本文以「《汪容甫禮學研究》」為題，欲以汪容甫涉及禮制之十一篇文章為述，並透過典籍的論證及後世學者對容甫論述之評騭，以釐清容甫「釋禮」的創見及其局限；筆者擬就下列幾點作深入思考。
第一章序論，介紹研究動機及目的，以及文獻的檢討，並對研究的範圍及目的加以說明。
第二章論述汪氏的生平以及其學術涵養，同時對「揚州學派」之淵源、特色加以介紹，並對其禮學作全面性的綜合敘述，期能瞭解汪氏與其交遊狀況，以及禮學研究的大略。
第三章對汪氏於古代婚禮「媒妁之言」、「嫁娶時間及年齡」、「婿死室女守志、從死」之剖析。父母之命、媒妁之言是古代婚姻的先決條件，汪氏對「媒氏」的性質及內容詳為疏證，並釐清古人對嫁娶時間及年紀的問題。此外，汪氏對於當代崇尚禮教，強調婦女守節雖有贊同，對室女於未嫁而婿死守志從死陋習則相當反對；此撼動世俗之言論，雖有遭有到時人撻伐，卻也有不少支持者。筆者欲藉由對汪氏同時或後世學者的辯論，嘗試探討清代乾嘉時期對宋明理學實踐的情形及其社會的反應。
第四章討論汪氏關於「喪禮」的內容。對於「為人後者為其曾祖父母祖父母」一條該服何等喪服有詳細的討論。又汪氏提出居喪期間，若逢特殊狀況時，是否該釋喪服以從事問題依歷代典籍所載，提出看法；在此基礎上，筆者擬於汪氏未關注之處重予討論。
第五章針對汪氏「祭禮」問題之探討。汪氏蒐羅歷代典籍企圖釐清古禮對於服儀之適切性。如：為父服三年之喪是否改父之道？以及婦人死後是否有主？等問題加以釐清，筆者亦於此更加勘驗。
第六章著重在汪氏「朝禮」之討論。對於「冕服」之用，其參照典籍以釐清穿著之場合及地點；此外，對於朝覲場所「闕」與「明堂」之釐清。
第七章乃就非守三年之喪者，或遇鄰國聘於喪主時，該著何種服飾以論。對聘禮的探討非著重於諸侯於平時的交往，而在於逢喪期間卜宅、卜葬日、筮宅、受聘，有司、占者、筮者、宰相皆須釋喪服以著吉服，此乃容甫著重之處。
第八章對《周官》一書之成書年代及作者之辯。汪氏提出《周官》成於西周初年，或推其出於周公之手；然對《周官》成書年代及作者，歷代學者多有論述。大多數學者認為《周官》一書成於戰國，雖有學者持劉歆偽造說；然廣蒐諸多學者之論，筆者乃從《周官》一書成於戰國，且非出自一人之手之見。
第九章總論汪氏身為揚州學派先聲，歸結其對禮學的見解是「繼承和發展了吳皖兩派純漢學研究的傳統」與「反對墨守，主張會通」，治學的內容及方法可為其他學者之學習。第一章 序論...............1

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
