This dissertation presents the construction of a participative methodology in the thematic construction of Environmental School Atlas. It is about a work of research-action carried through with a teacher and a group of students from the #Escola de Educação Básica Silva Jardim# in the city of Alfredo Wagner. The interdisciplinary practice and the systemic approach had been used as a referential for the development of the participative methodology. The used procedures were meetings, the field works for the information collection and photographic register, interviews and visits to the public agencies. The participative methodology, either with the participant groups or with other collaborating volunteers in the research, revealed adequate to the thematic elaboration of the Atlas, indicating to this the observation and the meanings of the people who, at the same time, have the experience of the city reality. The participants felt valued of participating in the group, having place and voice, criticizing and making suggestions. The group interest in the work, the meetings and the field works had been made in the construction of the context of the subjects, pointing the positive aspects that visualize in the city and the problematic situations that deserve to be approached. The field works evidenced that after the experience of (re) knowing the city, the meaning and the importance of the places for the participants are reaffirmed, that is, strengthen the identity of the people with the #place#. The Atlas looks for to synthesize, in a singular way, the result of participative process that showed in an ample way in the participant expressions. In this way, it is intended that the crystallized participative methodology in the participative process, reflects in the Atlas thematic clipping, the city reality and history

Mononuclear Transition Metal Complexes of 7-Nitro-1,3,5-Triazaadamantane
This is the peer reviewed version of the following article: Wagner, G., Horton, P. N., & Coles, S. J. (2016). Mononuclear Transition Metal Complexes of 7-Nitro-1,3,5-Triazaadamantane. ChemistrySelect, 1(8), 1548-1555. DOI: 10.1002/slct.201600502, which has been published in final form at http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/slct.201600502/abstract. This article may be used for non-commercial purposes in accordance with Wiley Terms and Conditions for Self-ArchivingComplexes of the type [MCl2(7-nitro-1,3,5-triaza-adamantane)2] (M = Zn(II), Pd(II), Pt(II)) and [MCl2(H2O)2(7-nitro-1,3,5-triazaadamantane) 2] (M = Mn (II), Co(II), Ni(II)) have been prepared and their structures have been analysed by X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis, IR and solid state 13C and 15N NMR spectroscopy, supported by density functional theory/ gauge independent atomic orbital (DFT/GIAO) calculations. In each case, 7-nitro-1,3,5-triazaadamantane acts as a mono-dentate ligand and binds to one metal centre only, in spite of the presence of three equivalent amino nitrogens. In the Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes, a two-dimensional intermolecular hydrogen bonding network between the aqua- and the chloro ligands is established. The uncoordinated amines of the 7-nitro-1,3,5-triaza- adamantane are not involved in any H-bonding, as a result of the exceptionally low basicity of this compound

Only N. bilineata, N. pictipennis, N. reichartzi sp. n. and N. vittigera have similar colouring. However, Neobarombiella reichartzi sp. n. only has characteristic dark spots laterally at the pronotal base, the suture is not black at all or only has rudimentary black colouring(Fig. 177), and its pronotum is shorter, pronotal length to width 0.43–0.48 (0.50–0.56 in N. lineata) (Figs 161, 177); N. vittigera has two longitudinal black lines on each elytron, the suture is narrowly bordered in black (Fig. 72), and is on average much larger than N. lineata sp. n., total length 5.15–8.25 mm (2.90–5.05 mm in N. lineata)); N. pictipennis has characteristic long slender and antennomeres (Fig. 31) and the single dark brown medial longitudinal line on each elytron curves towards and merges with the sutural margin in the apical quarter of the elytron (Fig.30); Neobarombiella bilineata also has longer, more slender antennomeres, the second antennomere is more than two thirds as long as the third, length of second to third antennomere 0.63–0.70 (0.75–0.83 in N. lineata sp. n.), (Figs 123, 163). All four of these species can also be distinguished using characteristics of the median lobe (Figs 73, 122, 162, 178).

Distribution. Recorded from south-eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia (Fig. 46).

Type material. Holotype, male: “Belgian Congo, 18 m.
