A Study of Trinh Hoai Duc n Trai Thi Tap\ue2
Vietnamese consider Trinh Hoai Duc as the nineteenth century's most outstanding founding minister of Nguyen Dynasty . His road to fame went very well. He possessed a perfect character and was loved by the Emperor of Nguyen Dynasty and admired by the monarch. Aside from being grateful and proud of Trinh Hoai Duc, people in the southeast and Dong Nai regions regarded Trinh Hoai Duc as a famous Vietnamese Chinese official.
At that time, many neighboring countries and regions in the southeast Asia had initially entered the colonial era. This led to the strong economical as well as social changes and threats in the local areas of Vietnam. During that period, two countries, China and Vietnam, had similar situations at home and abroad. Trinh Hoai Duc was sent to China as an ambassador. In the \ue2an Trai Thi Tap-Quan Quang Tap,\ue2 he described the figures he made contact with in the seven provinces, lyrics, scenery and religion, thus showed his diplomatic skills. In the n Trai Thi Tap-Kha Di Tap,\ue2 the topics of scenery and making friends are also covered. Being an ambassador to China, Trinh Hoai Duc recorded the social situation at that time, his homesickness and his ambassadorship in China in the forms of poetry, paintings and songs. He not only provided precious information to the descendants in future generations, but expanded their knowledge and visions. He also offered useful references in the field of literature.
From the above reasons, this paper carried out the data collection, archiving, processing, and elaborating outline followed by discussion, and finally determining the direction and the motivation to study writing. Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s n Trai Thi Tap\ue2 poetry as based on ancient Chinese language, can hardly be understood by Vietnamese scholars who are proficient in the Chinese language, let alone the ordinary Vietnamese. Some scholars of ancient Chinese, can only make Chinese and Vietnamese phonetic research but cannot publish book officially publicly offering its content for public readers. Very few Vietnamese scholars studied such poetry, and did not do in-depth research, the contents of which had only a few issues initially proposed, and lacked depth of academic discussion. To allow more readers to read the content of Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s work , and with more perspective to improve the content, this paper was created.
The scope of this paper focuses mainly on researching the content of n Trai Thi Tap\ue2. First, besides the author\ue2s relevant introduction, this paper starts from n Trai Thi Tap\ue2 by understanding Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s literature\ue2s status and influence in the south of his hometown. Second, from "Can Trai Thi Tap" sequentially ordered as \ue2Thoi Thuc Truy Bien\ue2, \ue2Quan Quang Tap\ue2, \ue2Kha Di Tap\ue2, Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s main topic on poetry and song are progressively analyzed. Third, the themes based on before and after the troubled times, flight times, the route to being an ambassador to China, lyric and scenery are used to analyze the main axis. Fourth, Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s frontier landscape, lyric and scenery, nostalgia and people, chant and epic poems are viewed based from \ue2 Can Trai Thi Tap\ue2. Fifth, finally understanding \ue2Thoi Thuc truy Bien\ue2, Quan Quang tap\ue2, Kha Di Tap\ue2 by using different theme allusions.
This paper\ue2s greatest values of research are: First, understand Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s portrayal of his important role in Vietnamese poertry and each topic of n Trai Thi Tap\ue2. Second, from the viewpoint of n Trai Thi Tap-Thoi Thuc Truy Bien" looking into Vietnam before and after its troubled times, national life, national situations, feelings of homesickness for his hometown, to Khmer country for refuge, natural forest poetry depicting the story of frontier natural scenery. Third, exploring the value of Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s. process of creating his work from n Trai Thi Tap-Quan Quang Tap\ue2. Fourth, exploring Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s themes of nostalgia, object and scenery of chanting from n Trai Thi Tap-Kha Di Tap\ue2. Fifth, hoping this paper can completely decipher the contents and thus contribute to the Vietnamese Ancient Chinese language study.
Therefore, this paper selected Trinh Hoai Duc\ue2s n Trai Thi Tap\ue2 as the main object of study, through sorting and studyin relevant literature, history under the prevailing social situation, how Trinh Hoai Duc adapts to changes in his course of diplomacy, how to make Chinese officials and people admire him. Inbound tourism of the Vietnamese in the Czech Republic
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the existing development of the Czech inbound tourism for tourists from Vietnam and to make suggestions, how to possibly improve it. This thesis is divided into two main parts, namely the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the terms from tourism and culture are defined. In chapter 2 there is an introduction to the Vietnamese culture and the description of the development of Vietnamese tourism. Moreover, the author emphasizes the local trend of outbound tourism to Europe. In the next chapter, there will be an analysis, which clarifies, what the Czech Republic can offer to the Vietnamese tourists, from the point of view of both attractiveness and materially technical facilities of the destination. Chapter 4 focuses on tour operators, which provide Vietnamese tourists with many tourist services. In the last chapter the author discusses about the present situation of the inbound tourism of Vietnamese tourists in the Czech Republic. A sub chapter of this part is dedicated to the results of the on-line survey, which aimed to reveal the interests of the Vietnamese tourists in the Czech Republic

Taxonomic characterization and identification of Saccharomyces cerevisiae D8 for brandy production from pineapple
Eight yeast strains (denoted as D1 to D8) were isolated from samples of natural fermented pineapple. Strain D8 showed highest alcoholic production at low pH and special aroma of pineapple has been chosen for further study. Taxonomic characterization of strain D8 using morphological, biochemical and molecular biological studies confirmed that strain D8 belong to Saccharomycetaceae family, Saccharomycetales order and Saccharomyces cerevisiae species. Therefore, we named this strain as Saccharomyces cerevisiae D8 for further study on Brandy production from pineapple. Citation: Hoang Thi Le Thuong, Nguyen Quang Hao, Tran Thi Thuy, 2017. Antimicrobial activity of marine fungi isolated from the Son Tra peninsula, Da Nang, Vietnam
Marine fungi have become an important source of bioactive natural products. The present study was concerned with the screening of antimicrobial activity from 73 fungal strains isolated from various marine habitats collected from five different localities at the Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang, Vietnam. For the first step of screening, ethyl acetate extract of each fungal isolate was prepared and their antimicrobial activity against the human microbial pathogens was investigated using the disc diffusion method. The panel of human microbial pathogens used were Bacillus cereus ATCC 11778, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 19111, Streptococcus faecalis ATCC 19433 and Candida albicans ATCC 10231. Among 73 fungal isolates, 29 exhibited antimicrobial activity against at least two tested pathogens. The proportion of the fungal isolates having anti-microbial activity against B. cereus, S. faecalis, L. monocytogenes, S. aureus, E. coli, C. albicans and P. aeruginosa were 42, 33, 31, 22, 7, 5 and 3%, respectively. Further investigations to isolate and characterize the anti-microbial components in the extracts are needed. Corporate social performance and corporate financial performance: theory and empirical evidence from the recent global financial crisis
This thesis searches for the theoretical influence of corporate social performance (CSP) on corporate financial performance and to provide empirical evidence for this effect from the recent global crisis. Hence, the author investigates how and why CSP influences financial performance from the international perspective with a global dataset of Fortune World’s Most Admired Companies in three distinctive studies. The first study develops a model on how and why independent directors using CSP disclosure affect profitability. The model is built on Schmidt and Keil’s (2013) theory of the conditions and mechanisms that make resources valuable to a firm. The regression results support the proposed model in a way that the synergy of independent directors using CSP disclosure probably increases profitability. The second study tests the agency theory on the impact of executive remuneration combining with CSR disclosure on profitability. The study finds that a combination of executive remuneration and CSP disclosure are likely to improve profitability; however, higher salary and stock might be the drivers that affect executives to disclose more information on CSP, which enhances the corporate reputation in CSP. The third study tests the theory of transaction costs in a model on the influence of CSR on profitability intervened by corporate governance. The data support the model, suggesting that well-informed and good governance is the condition for a positive influence of CSP on financial performance. The novel contributions of the thesis are as follows. From an international perspective and use of a global-level dataset, the thesis confirms and extents the global theories related to corporate governance, and opens up the new research avenues. Empirically, this thesis is the first that proposes and tests a model on how and why independent directors using CSP disclosure affects profitability, underpinned by Schmidt and Keil’s (2013) function. Methodologically, the studies used the two measures of CSP in terms of disclosure and reputational rank; the structures of two simultaneous equations were used to fit the data. Further, the problem of endogeneity was addressed in the studies. At the firm level, the thesis implies that first, the strategy in which independent directors use CSP is likely to improve financial performance due to the willingness to pay for the increased resources and social capital of their firm. Second, the study results raise the concerns on managerial manipulation of CSP disclosure due to agency problems and information asymmetry problems, thus recommending independent directors’ role of monitoring CSP. Third, the study suggests that positive effect of CSP on financial performance is conditional on the intervention of transparent and good governance. Moreover, the thesis reveals the advantages of the two coordinating forms of economic activities from the recent financial crisis, one based on networks and the other on governance hierarchy. These should be macro policy considerations during periods of economic recession when the market mechanism might fail
