The aim of this study is to evaluate the risk of care associated infection (ICA) during the ordinary activity.
The study include a retrospective analysis about epidemiological and statistical data collected by simple operative unit (UOS) of Igiene and hospital techniques at Sant’Andrea Hospital in Rome .
The time of observation included five years 2011-2015.
The cases were 2.495 patients (53% male and 47% female) and were collected in clinical Departments. The analysis was elaborated on 255 records: 21 are related to professional responsibility and 21 to ICA.
By our preliminary results we speculate the importance of the quality of the hospital assistance; in particular we observed a higher risk of infection in the patients with deteriorated clinical condition. Moreover the correct application of the protocols for the use of disinfectants and antibiotics, the respect of criteria for the use of drugs and invasive procedures plays an important role as regards the transmission of pathogens and causes of ICA.
In conclusion, the adoption of a risk management policy based on the synergy between risk assessment adhering to the real business context and the adoption of appropriate organizational models (Procedures-Protocols) as well as future regulatory references being approved by the Senate acts for the prevention and control of the ICA. It will represent the best strategy by the Hospital Companies will be able to guarantee the quality of the assistance and where it is necessary to demonstrate in court the correctness and completeness of the clinical and organizational models adopted

Pterosaur remains from the cenomanian (late cretaceous) paralic deposits of Charentes (Western France)
No full textInternational audienceRather numerous pterosaur remains, although mostly fragmentary, have been described from the Cretaceous of France (see Knoll and Bouveur, 2001; Mazin et al., 2001). They mainly consist of isolated bones collected in the Early Cretaceous and latest Cretaceous (Campanian-Maastrichtian) strata, as illustrated by two recent papers on French pterosaurs (Buffetaut, 2001, 2004). The Cenomanian deposits of the Charentes region, in western France, have yielded a few pterosaur remains (Ne´raudeau et al., 2005; Vullo et al., 2005; Vullo, 2007) which are described herein. This material constitutes the only known Cenomanian occurrence of pterosaurs from France, and completes our knowledge of the earliest Late Cretaceous peri-Tethyan pterosaur fauna.
